My people, I resumed in my office this morning to see an internal mail from HR that we should send in CV for Graduate Trainee program. I sent the message to my contacts to send in their CV or that of friends and families.
I got the shock of my life, as I speak am still dumbfounded, I have with me CV of masters from UK, covenant University who are looking for an average paying job.
From this experience I can tell you one part of me give God thanks because I don't measure this CV but on the other hand there is fire on the mountain oooo, my people.
I will advice any Graduate above 25years to find any relevant work experience, start a small business or get a reputable professional exam. If you are unemployed and you vote GEJ, you are an enemy of thyself. As for me I will be @ the one million march on saturday just to show my passion for a new government. Arise Nigeria this is democracy, I can't stand a failed government.
Yawns... I guess buhari will provide jobs for every graduate by wielding a magic wand...

Getting selected 200 and giving them foreign scholarship? Why not enhance a federal university to international standards and make quality education open to 20,000 people.

If only 5% of the total federation is actually benefiting from the government, then the government is not doing welll enough.
Rewarding excellence ain't no crime . more universities have been built but "they" say its nothing... These guys going to world class universities are mandated to return and lecture in our federal institutions and transfer the knowledge here... Let's criticise constructively.

All in the name of serving their father land. The NYSC program is another failed and notorious ambition of the former military dictator(Gowan) for the forceful unification of Nigeria. Some of them are posted in the villages that they could not understand language, culture or religious rituals. Good number of them always ended up in being raped, maimed and killed. Let everyone serve in his zone, say no to illiterate ideology.

This guy you are very bold. Speaking about anything that the government of PDP terms as embarrassment is a very bold thing to do. Tracking you will be very easy for these guys. I hope you thought carefully about this before putting yourself in the line of fire. If you need examples of those who criticized the government and faced unprecedented backlash I will provide them? Ok here are some of them;' Soludo, Sanusi, Obj, Oby, Amaechi, G-7 governors. The list is endless. Even Barth Nnaji was forced out coz of power play. I admire your boldness, although I am not so sure you are not treading where angels fear to tread. Even if your intensions are genuine. I still fear for your safety and job.

Forget all these faceless online criticism oh, yours can easily be tracked coz of the amount of information you have given.
Blah Blah.. At least the critics aren't being killed or jailed for centuries unlike during our junta years (looking at you, gmb)...

Egbema power plant hasn't been privatised yet due to the facts you're posting there. When the rehabilitation is completed and the gas supply contracts finalised ,, they'll be sold off promptly... GEJ till 2019...

Better wake up from sleep PDP man....and demand better. Now you see....I did not say vote APC....I said demand better.
I never said its World class... But our power sector is clearly on the right path. Building a 1000 mw gas plant takes a billion dollars and about five years. The private coys will find a way of speeding up the building process..... I'm no pdp man, I am anti-retrogression...

LOL....LOL....LOL.

Where do you live? Somewhere near Proxima Centauri!?!?!

ESKOM.....that supplies electricity to at least four other African countries...apart from South Africa....and that generates 40000MW wants to copy our DISCOS that by February 28th this year were generating 2,900MW...for a country that needs 12800MW?

Whatever it is you are drinking...I want it , I want it o. Maybe if i taste am....I go become multimillionaire.

You PDPians......you really really can make a guy laugh and laugh.

Next time....you will be telling us that Japan thinks that our rail system is a role model for theirs! grin
Sigh .. You clearly don't follow happenings... Eskom is having serious challenges and power cuts are become more common over there. Now they're seriously considering privatisation and are observing our process. (Point of correction, DISCOS don't generate)

I can't stop laughing ...how long have you been using the electricity since the commissioning? and by the way don't mention south Africa when it comes to electricity.. if you must know Nigeria is presently running with 2k+ megawatts..it dropped from 4k recently due to lack of gas and water..watch better stations not AIT and nta
So na Jonathan block the water and gas abi... You ought to know the difference between installed capacity and actual generation. We neglected the power sector for decades and you want it solved by magic?... Do you know how much time and money it takes to build a power plant?.. Try and build a reinforced concrete mansion and furnish it in a week even if you have the full cash in hand.

I believe we all watched the commissioning of two plants. The privatisation process was so smooth,,even Eskom of south Africa wants to follow our model.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Banks Lose 24.5% Of Market Value by ceejayluv(m): 2:58pm On Mar 02, 2015
nextstep:
All valid points. However there are many signs to remain optimistic:

- oil is a small part of the overall economy
- machinery will get more expensive, but the returns on investment is so much higher
- private refineries are coming onstream over the next 2-3 years
- at least one major company - psc solar uk - is building a huge plant in ikeja - it has now become cheaper for them to build, and this is true for many others. There are tons of solar distributors springing up
- transport cost will rise slower than inflation
- food productivity is rising - from improved fertilizer distribution to year round farming in the north, to massive investments in rice and cassava production, to tomato canning, to increased silo storage capacities nationwide, there is a lot momentum in agriculture
- private power generation and distribution is coming onstream
- govt agencies are getting better at fee and tax collection, especially at the corporate level
- foreign backed nigerian startups will be able to hire more people with the fall in naira
- local content law will encourage those with resources abroad to invest more
- Nigerian stocks are really good buys for Nigerians abroad with long term thinking
- Nigerians abroad can buy cement and blocks cheaper if they move quickly - how won't this help the contractors and laborers they hire? How won't this spur the economy?

In short, these are the best times to invest in Nigeria.

All these will directly impact nigerians at home. Like any large system, adjustments don't produce results right away, but its undeniable that the dials are being set in the correct ways... just wait and see 3-5 years from now. The sleeping giant of Africa is finally waking up
A thunderous ovation for you....
