Did they ban women from fire service recruitment before? Even in the liberal USA, only five percent of fire service personnel are women. There are some jobs that women aren't particularly interested in. |

JayPeeOham: Okay, thanks a lot for your detailed response.
1. She was not using an ATM card for the fixed deposit account. It was strictly for savings, as a matter of fact no money she could not even so any transactions on the account unless she is physically present at the bank.
2. Her account officer was the person who told her that the money was no longer in her account.
3. From your response, I guess we might still have a chance. I honestly don't mind taking it. The problem now is where do we start from and how? Money disappeared from a fixed deposit account? You should be grabbing the bank by the collar by now. Lawyer up, Man. You can also send a report to FIJ NIGERIA. Search for them on Facebook. They'll publish the matter on SM and the bank will do something within days. |

seborrhic: Big,fat lie. Stop spreading lies. Not talking from say,so,but have lost my phone more than twice and not a single dime was lost before I retrieved the SIM. One left for a week, the other happened on a Friday, went and did sim swap Tuesday the next week because the Monday was a holiday. Both occasions didn't even block the lines. So your post is not true at all. It's ONLY if your pin is compromised that your money MAYBE gone. It's possible that whoever stole or found your phones didn't attempt to access your account. |

But by the way Nigeria has the cheapest house rent in the world, my one month rent in Canada is my 3 yrs rent in PH.
But yes you can always find a way to make the money unlike in Nigeria. Cheapest for dollar/Euro/Pounds earners. Majority of Nigerians are earning in naira. |

It's just practically impossible, with feeding, school fees, transport and extended family wahala. You've Said it all.... CoronaVirusPro: Israel stole his idea! They destroyed it.
They knew the car was going to help the South Africans in their struggle for freedom.
The South Africans were already banking on production to aid their fight, and Israel got the information and sent their agents to Nigeria to destroy the design and workshop. Which fight?.. apartheid ended in 1994. |

Kudos to him but I seriously doubt the story that the design book was stolen by armed Men. It smacks of conspiracy theory fodder.
As at 2006, there were CAD tools he could have used for designing. |

However, I found the excessive screaming and unnecessary talk during the operation to be very unprofessional. Such heightened emotions and prolonged communication by the police can potentially cause distractions that may lead to unfortunate consequences, even deaths. Yes, Frankly the operation seemed haphazard. |

To those who are crying more than the bereaved on the Rivers situation, and to those whispering evil advice in Mr. Governor's ear, ntooorrrrr!!!!
Rivers will have peace, Nigeria will have peace.
N.B. Nonetheless, Mr. Governor should find a way to reconcile with Mr. Super Minister. Mr. Super Minister is Mr. Governor's boss and benefactor. He should not bite the hand that fed him.
Ingratitude doesn't pay, it will haunt Mr. Governor in the future if he does not repent his ways and the fake friends (in the guise of elders and tribal warlords) around him will be nowhere to be found. Let him just be transferring 50 percent of Rivers revenue to Wike, then defect to APC. |

Though I'm not in Lagos but even in the staff bus I board to work, there are only like 3 possible seats I can barely comfortably sit down. You will argue if I tell you there are places that has electricity 247 at least 360 days a year (leaving 5days margin of error)
Nigeria generates enough power for Homes.... What it lacks is distribution capacity and power for industrial capacity.
The problem with most Nigerians is they don't take time to make their research and rely on political analysts who analyse based on their bias Dude, Nigeria's power generation at the moment is likened to powering a mansion with i-pass-my neighbour Gen. A few rooms Will get powered leaving the rest rationing. Let's not excuse mediocrity. Where My parents live in Owerri is close to a Substation, the neighborhood stepped down a 33kv feeder line supplying orlu, so they get much More power supply than the rest of the city. those are exceptional cases. |

It's foolish to be subscribing dstv when you live in a place without stable electricity... Blame yourself .
