Saved2serve where art thou? Seems u have activated stealth mode. Any update on ur exercise?
Cos I believe that for us to make any progress the EH exercise must be concluded.
@ forkadict I know what it feels like taking the "silence " pill. For me I'm a lot more interested in when the process will be concluded than the no of intakes.

Closer to the goal, yet don't know if it's an hour away or 6 months away. To those who have closure, stay strong, regroup and relaunch with even more optimism.

NLNG had an optimal figure to be recruited, say 130; before all the uncertainties crept in. If they still have up to say 200 in the race that'll still be unfair. They should act similar as they did with the EHs, put on waiting list in April and invited for medicals in November.

For those who don't know, the company's survival strategy in the LNG market is increased market share, hence the train 7 and this recruitment. FID unsigned, yeah, but there's no capacity for survival without increased market share, inspite of the present oil bust. All I'm saying, they need a certain number for quality operation and that number won't change ( especially technical people, they cannot reduce required number of GTs).

Summary of my fears, how soon is NLNGs soon and a mail saying waiting list is better than this process ongoing. Let the wait be when will I resume, not did I scale through.

Show you care.....
Finally someone is speaking about the crux of the matter which is how long is “due course”. They didn’t even say soon or quarter something.
No sure if we are any closer to our goal, they just sent the mail so we don’t bombard their recruitment email. Lol
130 GTs= wishful thinking ^2
I have heard this train 7 issue for a while here but I’m convinced it has nothing to do with this exercise. I posed a question relating to the proposed train to my assessors during CBI and they said that it has nothing to do with it that the need to recruit “because people retire every day, leave the company, and they the need to employ periodically cos the last set of GTs have finished their training and have been moved up”
My thought- don’t think they can wait-list GTs cos we undergo training, conducting the training more than once isn’t cost effective at all. EHs go straight into their role so they can be wait-listed depending on availability.
My man @artmedia ur source is so on point. When the effect of yesterday’s correspondence wears off we will get back to him. 
@Saved2Serve have you had ur medicals.
@tk4rd how far? you refreshed your inbox and stayed refreshed
To friends who got the dreaded mail (esp. whatsupguys) take heart I can imagine how disappointing it is.
To the EHs resuming on Monday, I wish u successful careers.

Won't surprise me if the recruitment is cancelled, postponed indefinitely or they keep mute forever.
After the SHL test, when they weren't sure of the AC details they @ least gave us the outcome and said further details will be communicated to us subsequently.
Can't understand why they can't do same now.

For clarification when we say Q1, Q2.... r we referring to mails dropping or resumption. Cos sometimes I get confused.
According to artmedia "they r preparing bonny for us". So the issue might be connected to accommodation. My thought.

Happy New Year friends.
This info (if true) though not surprising considering NLNG’s antecedence is worse than a regret mail. There will always be a zillion reasons not to conclude this exercise (oil price, forex restrictions, Lassa fever etc.), but a company with foresight should have planned for contingencies.
My thought, what if the forex restriction has made it impossible to train some of the intakes abroad as planned (the experienced hires don’t partake in this training thus they can be absorbed).
At least courtesy and sanity requires that they let us know the outcome of the AC.
Our experienced colleagues may have abandoned us, but Saved2serve pls let us know how your recruitment progresses.
As posted above, “time is determined by your FEELINGS and PSYCHOLOGICAL condition”.

So far I haven’t observed any correlation between when they contact the EHs and the GTs. Seems like there are two HR sections working in parallel.

Nlng no reach give me high blood pressure. No na a a a! ! Don't say I will end up like kuena, me no wan go USA I take God beg you. I love Nigeria. It was a big ending for kuena, for he is doing amazingly great in US. I have seen it all in this oil and gas industry. From huge and massive salary to none, back to big salary with great pecks and still wishing you were close to home. The truth is that there is a point in life where the little things that the less privileged have becomes the dream of the rich. My life is not synonymous with kuena but you may say it is because you feel the way I post here depicts my obsession for the nlng job. No sir!!! NLNG will be paying me less than what I earn but I need to get close to home as soon as possible. Please I have interview in lagos on Wednesday. Just wish me well.

As for my date of reckoning, it wasn't to deceive a anyone. I could have easily told you what happened and what is really on ground but for sake of the fact that these HR guys follow these thread I will keep mute. One of them told me this in clear terms. In fact, know this, I mean good for everyone here. I could give up my job slot to help the next jobless dude, that is my kind of person. I love to share information, maybe it's my weakness. Please don't take this life too hard. That my information did not prove reliable at the nick of time, does not mean I was lying. Something happened. Sorry dear all for the shock or inconveniences this may have caused you. I am not a joker...love you all.

Ok guys. As much as I understand your agitations for feedback from our guys, I just want to chip in that all your anxiety until now have only been uncalled for. Uncalled for in the sense that you were told to expect feedback twelve weeks after AC. That deadline only just elapsed cos AC was concluded end of August. So any over the top emotions/agitations from now onward is very much justified.

As I have always said on here, I wish every single guy on here best of luck. Most especially my home boys whom I will specifically mention their names when the time is right.

This will likely be the week. LOL.

Best of luck guys. Again and again and again...
AC ended first week in August at the latest (though I believe it finished @ the end of July). And I/we was/were told to expect the outcome in 3 months not three months after AC. So the folks who did theirs on the first day are well within their rights to have been expectant from the 2nd week of sept.
I hope u realise that cumulatively we have spent about the same time in this recruitment process and as u know the wait is not funny.
I’m quite confident that we can’t resume in January, February will be a bonus because that’s when the last batch of EHs will likely resume.
I know some bottlenecks persist considering the current climate but at minimum NLNG should notify us of the outcome. They can use their “waiting list” style to stagger resumption.
Wishing everyone unlimited favour.
As always, Father let your will be done.

Looking through @ethene previous posts he’s clearly not a hopeful. So let’s not dwell too much on that.
I think there’s a major assumption we are making by thinking that resumption is in January. I recalled during my CBI my assessor said within the first quarter of next year don’t know if others were told anything contrary.

If you are a reliable source; thank U, if not thank U more.
For me it’s the wait that’s making me restless not really the outcome. All I need is closure.

About 18,000 were invited for the WAEC test..
About 5,000 were invited for the shl test.
About 800 were invited for the A.C..
About 90 to be finally taken...
God of Mercy.. May your will be done on my matter..
The stage is too tight for sure, but then, I know that You can loosen it a little for my sake..
Pease help me Lord.
If ur figures are correct then the success rate is less than 12%. Wow!! That’s the lowest at any stage of this recruitment “campaign”.
Indeed this exercise has taken a pretty long time. I hope those of us who will end up in the HR department improve their recruitment process especially in the area of communication. For instance, during the incident of Ebola we shd have been informed that it will delay the process, or if AC results can’t be released in 3 months as promised u shd have been informed etc. Even JAMB in those days didn’t take this long to release results. As someone rightly said this wait is torturous.
Free advice, never ever put ur life on hold for anything (especially when it is not certain).
On another note, this new found optimism is it based on information, speculation or gut feelings.

Truth is sauces are not giving palatable information. Many will miss out not because they are not good but because they had 2 better peeps from their domain. January is resumption and surely the invite will drop before then. My humble advise is to have a backup plan but still keep hope alive. Intake will be less than 90.

We are are all great men and women .
Pls what do u mean by domain - State or discipline?
During AC this question of no of intakes came up and the assessor who conducted the farewell sit-down, said clearly "we will take btw 70-90 based on how things turn out" I remember so vividly cos I said to myself this is not even up to the no of candidates who do the AC each week and we have 7-8 wks of assessment!!! U can imagine the volume of forthcoming heartbreaks.
Regarding when we get feedback, I would say anything is possible. Looking at the recruitment of 2007

Medical invitation letter signed -Oct 30
Reached candidates - 1st wk in November
Offer letters collected - 1st wk in December
Plant induction - Mid Dec
Resumption - From 7th Jan

From my observation, they have never given us feedback after Wednesday (even Wed only once). So for me after Wed, I close my NLNG chapter for the week and look forward to another Monday.

Niger Delta Youth Leaders Stage Protest At NLNG
Channels Television.
Updated August 29, 2015
NLNGThe Niger Delta Youth Movement comprising of leaders of youth groups from the Niger Delta, staged a peaceful protest at the office of the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

Their mission according to the protesters led by Niger Delta activist, Ankio Briggs, was to submit a protest letter to register their displeasure over the siting of the Dry Dock outside of the Niger Delta.

This, however, followed an earlier statement signed by the spokesman of the NLNG, Tony Okonedo, which stated that the Dry Dock Ship Yard was not a property of the NLNG but belonged to Badagry Ship and Marine company in Lagos for which the NLNG is a facilitator and not a sponsor.

Though, some officials of the company were on hand to receive the protest letter, no comments had been made yet by the NLNG.

A source in the company however, told Channels Television that members of management, were in Bonny Island for a meeting over the weekend and an official statement would be made after the letter had been studied.

Suprised everyone is going on about issues they have no control over whatsoever whilst ignoring a possible heartwarming development.
Brethren NLNG management is having a meeting as we speak. Lord pls count me among the chosen few.
