Regards to your statement that no manufacturer will tell you the components of their feed is absolutely false.

Not disclosing what your dog food consists of begs a question.

Its a standard practice worldwide to show your ingredients otherwise the product will not fly with the authorities.

Question: I have a collie mix puppy and she started losing large spots of hair all over her body. The vet said she has mange and she needs to have a dip every week. The bath and dip are expensive. I read about using motor oil to bathe her to kill the mange but my family thinks it is a bad idea. Can I use it?

The dog is generally kept for the day to observe and treat for any reactions to the dip. Dogs should not get wet between dips.

Most dogs do very well with treatment and become cured of the mange. A small percentage of dogs will have chronic mange and require maintenance treatment to keep the mites in check

I believe we should have a standard, if you are selling a pure bred dog say it, and if its an hybrid equally state it. so that any buyer can know what they are getting into. I had my reservations too, looks more like a Nepo/Corso mix.
