Thanks |
Bobby's heading is misleading plain and simple. It should rather have been 3 months Boerboel Mix for sale. In as much as he is trying to sell, there should be some credibility to it. Most times I see Bobby's advert i take it with a pinch of salt. |
Researched online, their is no scientific backing for their claims, its probably a scam |
@Ray, Kudos on producing dog food made in Nigeria. Regards to your statement that no manufacturer will tell you the components of their feed is absolutely false. Not disclosing what your dog food consists of begs a question. Its a standard practice worldwide to show your ingredients otherwise the product will not fly with the authorities. Am guessing their is no NAFDAC reg for your product yet. Who is the moderator for the pet section, I expect by now the scammer's account to have been blocked. |

Question: I have a collie mix puppy and she started losing large spots of hair all over her body. The vet said she has mange and she needs to have a dip every week. The bath and dip are expensive. I read about using motor oil to bathe her to kill the mange but my family thinks it is a bad idea. Can I use it? Answer: Motor oil is an old wives’ tale and should never be used. It doesn’t kill the mites and can cause serious skin reactions and if your dog licks it, she can get very sick. The microscopic-sized demodex mite causes mange in dogs. It lives in the hair follicles in the skin and causes the hair to fall out. It is not unusual for a secondary bacterial infection to get in once the mites have damaged the skin. The dog may become itchy once the skin becomes infected. Treatment is most often given with a medication by mouth called ivermectin. It is given daily for several months until all the mites are gone. Your veterinarian will need to do skin scrapings and look for the mites microscopically to check the progress with this medication. Unfortunately, collies and other herding breeds are likely to have sensitivity to this medication so they are often treated with medicated shampoos and mitaban dips. The dip is a concentrated chemical that is diluted with a carefully measured amount of water and sponged on to the dog. The dip is generally applied at a veterinary clinic. It is important to have trained technicians administer the dip to make sure that the proper procedures are followed and environmental contamination is controlled. The dog is generally kept for the day to observe and treat for any reactions to the dip. Dogs should not get wet between dips. Most dogs do very well with treatment and become cured of the mange. A small percentage of dogs will have chronic mange and require maintenance treatment to keep the mites in check |

uchpanila:If you come out plainly and say what you are selling is pure bred or mixed and truthful about it., no one will bad mouth your market. |
SingleSearrcher:I believe we should have a standard, if you are selling a pure bred dog say it, and if its an hybrid equally state it. so that any buyer can know what they are getting into. I had my reservations too, looks more like a Nepo/Corso mix. |
Stancrus:Are you sure with the current exchange rate. |

kilode100:So sad a comment, what qualifies a dog to be pretty or ugly?. And how helpful is your comment to the OP?. |
Redoil:And how is your suggestion helpful to the young man. |
Cool pups, Whats their bloodlines |
naijabands:Very wrong bro. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. Most of the so called exotic breeds falls into the definition above. |
naijabands:Bro, why do we always refer to our local breeds as mongrel, what makes the foreign breeds special over ours. We should be proud of what we have. |
Dear Petlanders, I want to import some dogs from Serbia, Romania and possibly Russia. I need your help with information on the processes involved. I have identified breeders that i intend to deal with. Thanks in anticipation |
