Have you checked page 1 of this thread? If you haven't, I will advise you to do so. You will see a lot of helpful links to guide you there. OkukuOne: Dear Scott99tish, @Makano et all,
I am a newbie here.
I was surfing the net to see the best way out for a "Study Permit/Visa)" for my dear wife.
She got admission to study Personal Support Worker - Acute Care in NBCC, Canada.
I have plans to pay one-semester fee for her before applying for a Study Permit/Visa and that is it.
I have read some of the responses and shared opinions, but i am completely lost and i don't know what comes in first and what next.
Please, I will need a complete guideline on all supporting documents anything that will aid the entire process.
Much appreciated if you can join us to write our success stories.
N/B: If any acronym is used while you are trying to explain to me, please be kin=d enough to let me know the meaning. once will be fine. I am not shy to say i am learning the ropes from the gurus here.
God's blessings family in Nairaland |

Well, I know someone that it took 4 weeks to get her passport back. Although it was for PR not study visa. Teemenzo: Hello house, someone on this platform once posted an issue about his brother's passport which has been sent to Lagos vfs for more than a month now. Though the letter of introduction has been sent. He is still in this situation. Are there people still waiting to receive their passport for more than a month? |

Lol, internet marketers don go make video on Judicial Review to make money off people's pain. edudguy: Boss do you know you can sue the Canadian immigration service if you fulfill all requirement to get a Visa and you were denied?
Michael Apata, a Nigerian who has lived in Canada for several years made a video explaining explicitly the steps on how you can migrate to canada without stress

WiZiggy, don't let this person put you in trouble. When the form ask you if you have been previously denied Visa to Canada or any other country, please tick yes and give details in the comment box provided. No let online stranger make you loose guard. jeggfav: You dont need to declare your refusals from any country. Just list your Visas only and i did the same on my application and only declare my visa from Germany, China, Australia and Turkey. I have my student visa already |

This may be the case. But most of these agents in Nigeria are not licensed agents. They use the same gcKey like the rest of us. technix: After reading many complaints about agents not giving out login details, I found it strange and decided to probe.
Licensed agents use a portal called authorized paid representative portal to apply for their clients. An agent can open a single account on the portal and use the account to manage the applications of many clients. I believe that is why there are no login details to give to clients.
I think the best is just to get the UCI number, for subsequent applications. |

Unless this person is charging you for helping you pay, you don't need more than 75k on barter to pay for the application fee since you're not paying for biometrics. greeners222: Please can someone help me with the fee for student visa again. I was refused before and am trying to reapply now but due to the card limit recently imposed someone is trying to help me pay for my fee but requesting 130k. Remember am applying the second time and I don't need biometric and all. How much is the visa fee in naira? I don't have 130k |

Hello all, this is my first time commenting on Nairaland and in this section. I stumbled here through google while gathering information on studying in Canada. I'm about to begin application for admission into Centennial college, I will like to ask a few questions. 1. Is there anybody here who is already studying at or about to go to Centennial? 2. If yes, is IELTs or the likes necessary for admission? I went to Maple, they said writing IELTs is not necessary but on the school's website, it is written that proof of English proficiency through IELTs or Toefl is necessary for International students applying from outside of Canada. Pls, I need advice on this. I don't want to spend 40k on IELTs if I don't have to. 3. Finally to the gurus in the house. My brother who is going to sponsor me is already a permanent resident along with is family in Canada with their Citizenship card too. My question is will the CDHC here in Naija accept him as my sponsor or does the sponsor have to be resident in Nigeria? Sorry, for the long post. I just got a lot to ask. Thanks in advance for kind response. |
