Congrats @Ijeamaka1... Please, how did you go about money exchange issues? Did you open a dom account with gtbank and save $ in it to spend in Brazil as suggested by someone in this thread? Or... Did you leave your naira in your naira account and then exchange it once in Brazil? What is the best thing to do please? @all. I bought redmi 9 from aliexpress since August and used aliexpress shipping but item never arrived. Filed for refund after more than 90 days which was approved last week. From my experience, I can't say much about your recommendation. PeacefulT0ut: Asides Itel, Infinix and Techno phones are mostly trash, don't buy them.
Log on to ali Express, check for Realme or Redmii phones within your price range.
One way to get something good from ali Express is to check the customer reviews. This will guide you because there are picture evidence together with words typed out.
Shipping method must be Ali Express Standard Shipping. Takes maximum of 3 weeks to arrive Nigeria
Anything other shipping method, it will take longer. |

sholey4love: The order I place since three months ago I.e in August, after three day I got a message that my order has been shipped.
I kept tracking the item but all I got was that item is on the way and the last tracking day on the site was 08/09/2020.
To my surprise this evening I got another email directly from aliexpress that my order has just been shipped and that it will arrive soon.
Doest it mean the seller has deliberately send a fake tracking code in the first place? So that if the shipping date expire and I do nothing by reporting, he will just pocket my money?
Now am waiting for the phone to arrive soonest.
If you order for phone or anything login via PC and shout on you seller that of the shipping date got expired, you will open dispute and report them maybe this will help as well. I also ordered the same phone from this same seller in August. I don't think you should worry yourself, once your 'On-time Delivery days' are passed, just request for a refund. There's nothing he can do. I'm also waiting for my On-time Delivery days of Nov. 26 and then I will apply for a refund. peterincredible: my guy that same thing happened to me too with the same seller "hong kong goldway" it seems your bp has been extended tooo that was what happened to me tooo i ordered 4th of august i think the extension was done by aliexpress themselves and not the seller i saw similar complain like this on reddit aliexpress section i know ure parcel has been stuck at "dispatch to oversee since august " abi? |

Someone should please answer my questions. I am actually waiting for the answers so that I can conclude the online registration on MOE portal before traveling to Abuja. Please, please and please. centuryman: From those of you who have had your authentication and legalisation done at both the MOE and MOFA, please did you pay an additional #300 for each copy you authenticated and legalised?
I am asking because I am confused about how much to pay on the MOE site.
Is the #300 for the original certificate plus the 3 copies?
Or will it be #300 * original certificate * 3 copies?
And will they return the authenticated and legalised copies back to me?
If I need additional copies to be authenticated and legalised, can I have this?
Someone should please help me out.
Thank you. |

honey001: MOE is opened for business fully....it's online now self, you can start the process online at the comfort of your home before going to their office....
As for MOFA, they are yet to resume officially, but you can still do it if you know your way, though at unofficial price. Please, do we count the copies as part of the documents to be paid for? |

Oga abeeeeg STOP spaming the thread. bashsani: The rot is in the whole system an average NIPOST staff has little or no power to siphone such items all by his self the agency, customs, NDLEA etc must be involved TIPS FOR SWIFT DELIVERY for lagos resident send through ems/NAHCO headquaters NAHCO Ikeja using IMPC building as your address, since that is where items are being dispatched to various branches. This way your percel waits for you to be cleared by you not some anonymous agency that will cart away with your item by bribing the customs. for more help check my status i work at NAHCO nipost headquaters |

I tried to create a thread to help people but the moderator would not allow it. I know not why......
Anyways, hope this information helps you and anyone who may be bold enough to try it.
All the best!!!
I had all my official documents like certificates laminated. At some point I needed to authenticate and legalise some of them so I started to find answers on the internet.
Got a guy in India who charges $40 per document and to think of cost of sending it there. Other information I found would leave you with a burnt, deformed certificate/document.
Then I read somewhere on the internet where it was suggested to use hair dryer. Then, I thought within myself I could use a hot air gun (this I already have at home).
Do not think it's a stroll in the park. It certainly isn't!
Truth be told I was scared and nervous initially, so I started out with the document I felt was less important like my 'Statement of Result' as I could do without it since I had the original certificate.
Things needed...
1. The laminated documents whose laminate you want to remove. 2. Hot air gun (this is what I used), hair dryer. Please, don't use hot iron ooooo. I tried using it but got the document all melted. 3. A pair of twizzers but you can do without it. 4. A pair of scissors.
How to do it....
1. Cut the edge of the laminate to expose the document in-between. 2. Using the hot air gun (with temperature of the heater set to the lowest), apply enough heat which will melt the adhesive in between. 3. Using the twizzers or your fingers, pry open or separate the document from the laminate. 4. Now you should have the laminate separated from the document. 5. Gently continue to apply the heat and as you see the adhesive giving way gently or melting, gently pull the laminate off the document. Note the word 'GENTLY'. This is very important else you will pull along part of the document. 6. Apply the same process through out and you will have your document/certificate in whole.
All the best.
Please, kindly share your experience when you do try it. |

amikable97: I am not in anyway trying to cause any form of confusion or discourage anybody. I think he was referring to masters degree study programs, that's why I answered that way. If you convert Nigerian scale 3.0 that is exactly 2.5 German scale that's why I said so. You also know most restricted course peg their CGPA at 2.5 (German scale). I also indicated that if has work experience (it) can also be to his advantage, cos he will be considered for admission despite his grades (after all we have a testimony in the house). All the same we shouldn't in a bid to mince words or paint things to look cool we should also understand and be aware that there are also people who are trying to also get admission all over the world so we need to package our application in such a way that we won't be denied admission...
Cc: ENGRPETER101 Nice explanation bro. Well detailed. @ENGRPETER101 and others, pls take note. |

amikable97: This is why we advice you to read! Read! Read!
Anything less than 3.0 Nigerian scale the chances of gaining admission will be very slim except you have more than the required work experience Are you referring to bachelor or master program? I think we need to be clear about our explanation so that we don't end up confusing and discouraging people. I think this is subjective. |

Glauben: Hi guys, just a quick update as regards my initial rejection and subsequent appeal.
A quick recap: Interview 22nd of August, rejection a week later. Appeal with supporting docs including SL sent on the 10th of September, receipt acknowledeged via email on the the 12th of September.
Enrollment deadline is 31st of this month, sent a couple of emails to the Embassy asking about status but no reply.
Embassy finally got around to sending an email today asking for a self addressed pre paid envelope via Courier, looks like another rejection is enroute.
I want to say a big thank you to everyone that helped me during the appeal process, I really appreciate it. The dream is still very much alive, delay they say is not denial. Winter is almost out of the question, Summer it is then. We fire again! A big shout out to everyone contributing postively to this thread, may our dreams come true. It's been a tiring and exhausting journey I must say.
Have a great weekend, Gentlemen $ Ladies. You never know bro. Overall, I love your [r]never say never spirit[/r]. It shall end in praise. |
