You are on point if you fly to Boston. The airport at Rhode island isn't a popular one. RI is perhaps the smallest state in the US with lots of blacks. You can get a mini van to convey u and your family from Logan to RI for $150 or less. You will enjoy the ride, should be about an hour drive. I did Logan to Attleboro for $103 last summer. Attleboro is abt 5 miles from RI.

Hello house please I will be going to New port in Rhode island with a family of 3 soon but a family friend that resides there said I can book a flight for Boston (45min drive to New port) as it is cheaper with at least 600usd (ie extra 1800usd reduced) from all flight i have seen (which are also connecting from JFK)

Hello e-fam. Please who has done transcript evaluation from Lagos City Polytechnic? WES has sent transcript to the school for confirmation since November but the school keeps saying they are yet to receive it. Please anyone with useful info should help. Asking for a friend.

That's one school without an email, you may have to pay for courier from Canada to the school before you can make any meaningful progress. Also, you may have to pick up the confirmation from the school and send by courier again yourself. That's the price we pay for studying in glorified high schools.

Please, what is the easiest way to change little cash in Nigerian Naira to US Dollars for someone that want to travel. Am looking at it that the stress is not worth it to do PPA for a cash like $400 to $700 that I want to go with as cash.

Please, can this be changed at the airport on the date of travel?

If you are going with just this little, I'll advise that you go to any bdc and ask for $20 notes. You may get it for like N340 to $1. I only got to know this recently, smaller denominations don't sell at the same rate as the $100 note. Please also note that when you come back to the country with these smaller notes, you may not be able to sell more that N335 to $1. Also note that the banks reject deposit of smaller notes except the big $100 note. This was my personal experience few months ago. You can thank me later.

2. Assuming i did not do #1 above, i faxed my credential to WES and they finally say they have contacted my school for verification of which some schools never see such mails, can i revert to option #1 to continue the process. OR

Sorry bro, I will advise you register for another ielts, use ieltsbuddy.com for your writing by studying all the lessons under the writing section. I did same and my writing improved from 6.5 to 7.5. In addition to this, you can take a gamble by calling for EOR on your writing and probably speaking to see if the remark will change something. Never ever give up...

Hmm..I hope thats not the case. Perhaps I need to shed more light. I got the visa since last year and I mentioned I was going to Orlando for 2 weeks. I couldn't go last year as planned because of projects I was involved in. This year I decided to review the planned holiday and felt going to a friend's place in Boston might just be cheaper due to prevailing economic condition. And thats what I did, though I am convinced that the friend is a citizen. I was skeptical about this change initially but my friend kept reassuring me it's not an issue. To my utmost surprise, I was not asked anything wrt this at the POE. Knowing and being convinced of your host's circumstances in the US is very key.

I came in through Logan Intl Airport, Boston just yesterday and it was a breeze. No serious interview other than how long are u staying, what food items do you have on you etc. I flew Qatar Airways, i should say it was indeed a long flight. I just want to thank everyone who's share their experience here. WES sent fotocopies of my credentials to my schl Lautech for verificatn since 17th of march and I was written. But, my contact at d schl (secretary to d dean pg schl) confirmed to me shes yet to see anythn of such last week. The transcript was sent by d pg schl and d Wes transcript request form was properly completed wt email and oda details b4 sendin. It was received by Wes. Now whyle folowin up on my contact, I ve also written Wes to avail me possible hint / clue (email, tracking number, postal address, addressee) or jst any info dt wld guide me in knowin d current location of d documents. I also pleaded wt dem to lemme knw if hard copies or soft copies were sent. To this end I ve also written the pgschl / registrar if my documents ve been spotted but no response yet.
17th of March to date is alredy abt 3 weeks.

You are on the right track. Most times wes sends this verification to the Registrar's email (office if hard copy). Due to our poor attitude to prompt response from this part of the world, it may lie in there for weeks. I'll advice you work with your existing contact, he/she should be able to approach a colleague in the Registry to help follow up with the Registrar. My 2kobo though my experience was with FUNAAB

I just read through your advice, i just need a little more clarification.
I had a baby in Nov 2014, but submitted my application before then. I got charged yesterday, how/when do i inform these folks about the new addition. Also, I submitted a form that didn't allow us specify preferred Visa Office, meaning I have no idea which Visa office I will be attached to eventually.

This is pretty straightforward, either you write another ielts or u let madam take the driver seat while your ielts is good enough to earn her additional 5 points under adaptability. If i were you, would rather focus on the latter

Hi, you don't have to panic. I was subjected to same in Oct. In my case, my result was available online though. I was told this often happens when you have at least 2.0 points difference between any of your scores, esp writing and speaking scores. It usually doesnt take long and they always specify the new date to expect your report form.
