Romance / Re: Is It Advisable To Date A Girl Who Is A Member Of Brotherhood Of Cross & Star? by chalerea(m): 10:42pm On Nov 18, 2020
The consequence is "Slavery". You should know they worship a man called Olumba Olumba Obu. It is a cult like with the face of Christianity. So becareful not to start what you can't handle and finish. I know them too well.

RealSolution001:
Please your advice is very important.

There's this girl I have been seeing on friendship level but presently there's urge to push it into relationship. From the look of things, I know she's already falling for me so the question whether she'll agree for me or not shouldn't even come in. However, I recently happened to know she's a member of brotherhood of the cross and star (the white garment and shoeless church) likewise her parents and other members of the family. Since I discovered this, I have been very sceptical about the whole thing.

Is it advisable to date such girl? What of in the event of breakup? Any physical or spiritual harm done to someone for being with such a person? Would I be coerced to convert to the beliefs (that is the last thing that will ever happen). Have you dated one before? How did it go?

xclusive! Redeemed Pastor Kunle Ajayi In sex scandal

Newsnowonline

Top saxophonist, Pastor Kunle Ajayi of Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, is allegedly deep in sex scandal, involving a married woman.

Adultery in Christendom is akin to political ‘harakiri’. “It is a sacrilege” said the source who craved anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the issue.

Inside source revealed that the RCCG General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye was so angry when the information was revealed to him that he put Pastor Kunle Ajayi on one year suspension to undergo deliverance and purge himself of his adulterous lifestyle and also carry out Restitution.

Since July when the scandal blew up, Pastor Adeboye, we are told has stopped the randy saxophonist from ushering him to the pulpit. Those who are familiar with the trend at the monthly Holy Ghost Service of RCCG know that Pastor Kunle Ajayi must perform to usher Daddy GO to the pulpit.

According to the source the woman in question was said to have two of his three children fathered by Pastor Kunle Ajayi.

It is not clear if the husband of the woman who was involved in adulterous scandal with Pastor Ajayi is aware that two of his three children are not his.

To cover the scandal, Pastor Ajayi on his part has continued to explain his non inclusion in the July and the recently concluded annual Convention of the RCCG to those who cared to listen that he has problem with his throat and that explain why he has not feature in July and August programmes.

It will be recalled that Pastor Ajayi grew up in Mushin with late Afro Beat Iconoclast, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and was part of his band before he became a born-agin Christian and joined the RCCG where he rose to become so prominent that his dexterity in handling the saxophone is second to none that he must sing and usher Pastor Adeboye to the pulpit.

Attempt to speak to the Assistant General Overseer of RCCG on Personnel and Administration, Pastor Odesola was not successful as he neither pick our call nor respond to the text message sent to his telephone.

For now, it’s not clear what will happen after the expiration of the one year corrective suspension if Pastor Ajayi will be recalled to his duty as the issue is being discussed in hushed tones among those who are privy to the scandal at the Redemption Camp.

Education / Re: UTME Not For Admission, But For Ranking - Oloyede by chalerea(m): 10:36am On Aug 27, 2017
Kraspo:
How then can we begin to rank our students from 120?? This is not just right. We started CBT some years ago and we were applauded for the advancement and now are reducing the cut-off mark in the name of ranking. If the essence of Jamb is now solely for ranking, then it should be scrapped so that the universities can conduct their screening exams themselves. These guys are just putting our lecturers under stress.

CBT was also criticized! Nigerians find it so difficult to embrace change. I think the man is on point. The various universities can still peg their cut off point to 200 if they so wish.

Family / Re: Has My Wife Been Taking Me For Granted? by chalerea(m): 6:07am On Jun 29, 2017
lisbonabdulahi:
Hello Nairalanders, please I need you advice before I finally end this marriage.
I know I was at fault at the beginning for not stamping my authority , I showed her so much love, because she is a product of a broken home, I wanted her to know there is much more to life, now she has turned my love to foolishness, I do not want my kids to grow up without a father. That is why I have been very patient, but now … please read on.

I have been married for 11 years, with 4 kids. The truth is that we have never had really peace in the home for these years, everything is trouble, from the way I talk, eat, dress, use the toilet and sleep, just name them. The situation has been bad from the beginning, but the last three years has been hell for me and the kids, my wife shouts and complain over everything, she cannot go one full day with Joy, there is always one thing that annoys her, she has to be right on all issues, The very sad part is that whenever she does anything wrong and I ask her, there will be trouble, she will refuse to speak with me for as long as she like. We can go for weeks without really speaking with each other she enjoys it, she does not just bother at all. Each time these things happen, I am always the one that try to initiate peace.

I will like to give only one example to summarise everything going on in my home: two years ago, she will just leave the home without telling me, I called her and told her it is not right, she replied me promptly that it is her life, I can’t control her, and it is my life as well, I should do whatever I like with it. well I thought it was anger, however, I never mind, anytime I want to leave, I make sure I tell her till one day she called me and tell me that even if I keep informing her about my movements, that she is not going to change, she is not under any obligation to tell me where she is going to. My people, for two years counting now, that is how we have been doing it, we just leave without telling each other. BUT OCCASSIONALLY FOR SOME REASONS I DON’T KNOW, SHE WILL JUST TELL ME SHE IS GOING OUT TO XYZ.

She always insults me and even the kids, for any mistake they make and she never fails to tell them that they did not inherit their bad character from her, that they inherited their character from me, she says this consistently even when I am there. There is no insult she has not poured on me, I have had to explain to her mother severally but the woman is simply helpless, her mother is dead scared of her. She exhibited some of these characters during our two years of courtship, but her mother and some brethren advised that she will change after marriage. She is always complaining of being tired, meanwhile, I do the dishes, do the vacuuming (sweeping), cleaning and other domestic duties, even when she cooks, I have to cut the ingredients and all that, in short she rarely cooks. We sleep in different rooms for 4 years counting now, occasionally I try to go to her room to initiate sex, but 99% of cases she chase me away, sometime she locks her door. She stopped me from sleeping in same room with her, when I asked why, shy did not say anything but after 4 months she said it was because I was snoring at night. Trust me anytime I am opportune to make love to her I make sure she climaxes…

It is so bad that even her sisters sometimes rebuke her in my presence, presently, she is not in talking terms with any of her siblings, and this has been on for the past three years. I am stuck with this lady, her mother cannot talk to her, no family member she respects. She is a loner.
To the extent that she makes friends and they always break up, she has no real close friends, even if they are close, trust me, before 6 months the relationship has gone sour.

I will advise that while praying for her, isolate her completely. If possible, relocate with your children a another place where she will not be able to find you guys.

If your story is completely true I think the woman is in love with another man. Her real passion burns for another man.

The worst part is that you are a weak man and have lost control over your own home which is one of the worst thing a man can allow to happen. You cannot regain this control by peace and this is the pure truth except by war. She will only obey a superior power in form of strength or love. If she is in love with you she will obey you easily or if you are more tougher than her then you can control her. The war am talking about is not about fighting or beating her but tactical emotional and mind game. But first of all, despair with your children from her and see her reactions. You will be surprised how fast you will begin to win your home back if the woman truly loves you.

Politics / Re: Dino Melaye Certificate: ABU Department Of Geography Was Under Faculty Of Arts by chalerea(m): 7:59am On Mar 26, 2017
ademasta:
For those arguing the fact that the department of geography in the Ahmadu Bello University can never be under the Faculty of Arts, please read below. I wasn't paid to write this or in any way related to Dino, i made the research myself to for clarify things.

The Department of Geography, Ahmadu Bello University started on September 26th 1962 using the classrooms formerly used in teaching ‘A’ Level Geography at the Nigerian College of Arts, Science and Technology. The first two lecturers were M.B. Thorp and M. Mortimore from Liverpool and Leeds respectively. Prof H.A. Moisley joined the Department as the first Professor of Geography in 1963 from the University of Glasgow and was later joined by P.N. Hore as a Senior Lecturer with a Ph.D from the University of London. By the time the first class of undergraduates moved into part III of the degree programme in October 1964, there were four academic staff in the department. The staff strength has grown to 26 academic staff, 6 technologists, 3 library staff, 7 secretarial staff and a driver.

The Departmental Library is the largest Geography Departmental Library in the country. The Department also has a comprehensive map Library.

Staff-Student relation is friendly and undergraduates run the socially and academically active National Association of Geography Students (NAGS), A.B.U Chapter.

Geography Department was under the Faculty of arts and Social Sciences offering the degree of B.A (Honours) and B.Sc (Honours) in geography respectively. Presently, the department is under the Faculty Science offering only B.Sc in Geography. Apart from the undergraduate degree, the department offers Postgraduate Diplomas in GIS and Rural Development respectively and Masters of Science in Geography, GIS, Transport Management, Population and Demographic studies, Rural Development and Environmental Management respectively. We also offer Ph.D in Geography and Rural Development.

These courses have made the Department a haven of postgraduate students that are eager to attain the training and have been tremendously relevant in all spheres of their endeavours.

Below is the chronological arrangement of those that have headed the Department from 1963 to date.
1. Prof. H.A. Moisley (1963-1965)
2. Prof. E.S. Simpson (1965-1967)
3. Prof. P.N. Hore (1967-1979)
4. Prof. K.O. Ologe (1979-1988; 1989-1990)
5. Prof E.O Oladipo (1990-1992)
6. Prof. J.A Ariyo (1992-1996)
7. Prof. D.O. Ogbonna (1988-1989; 1996-2000)
8. Dr A.L. Bello (2000-2002)
9. Prof. M. Mamman (2002-2006)
10. Prof. E.O. Iguisi (2006-2010)

It is clear that the school does not offer BA but Bsc as at the time he claim to have graduated from the school. So where did he get his BA from?

The school really need to clear this mess. It is not about the person involved in the scandal but the integrity of the institution and how it affect the image of a Nigerian university abroad.

there are alot of things we're doing wrong;we're lazy, we have been blinded by religion(fufilling obligations, attending church meetings here and there, vigils, 7days this, 21 days that) but we have neglected the fact that Jesus did not come to give us religion, He came to give us a relationship with God, and for us to have an abundant life... Our white counterparts are not as lazy as we are and from history, you'll discover their fathers were men of faith(esp USA) who had laboured in prayer and deep study, We need to wake up from been lazy and start reading the bible for ourselves rather than leaving it for some ''big men of God'' that will twist it for their own gains.. Religion is strictly a spiritual and moral standard for personal consciousness and sub conscious governance in fulfilling principles of without a God there will be no Man. Success, good health, wealth and peace a strictly governed by the law of seed, time and chance. Christianity is not a magic but a way of life.

This Happened In My Church Today

Pastor preached about tithing in church today, and after sermon, he asked all salary earners (private and public) to stand.

To my utmost perplexity, he (the Pastor) directed the Secretary to start writing their NAMES and their MONTHLY SALARIES respectively.

Will he start coercing them to pay tithes to him personally based on their monthly salaries or what? Is it compulsory for a Pastor to know his members' salaries? What does he want to do with it?
These are some of the questions that ran through my mind in church then. Till this moment, I seem not to know his intention until next week. I wonder what churches are turning to these days.

Does anyone have an idea of what he will likely do with their names and monthly salaries?

Your pastor is a business man and your church is a business centre. I will advise you relocate shapely.
