For me personally, it was the second touch of RVP that was the most important. That second touch was make or break. If he hits it too long, Jaaskelainen would scoop it, if it was too short, defender gets it! Sublime |

coogar: stop shouting! either one of lampard, mikel or ramirez can replace any of the diamond midfield. barcelona play with one defensive midfielder - you don't have to play 2 defensive midfielders - there are several ways to skin a cat. as an aside, benitez can go for the jugular and play 3-5-2 formation. can ba/torres play together? yes, they can be played together. hazard, mata and oscar must learn how to track back and defend. rooney, ronaldo, messi, villa, etc do that on the regular - why can't MAZACAR? Saw one on twitter: Oscar+Ba+Mata = OBAMA. It's fair to say MAZACAR is over |

Roland17: Its going to be a very tough decision for Villa to make, but considering the style and chance of first team, i am hopeful he makes the decision, but like u worry, its going to be a tough decision for Villa to make, even if Barca accepts. I think he still has a lot to offer Barca...I agree it will be hard to leave them |

debosky: You must be a blind bat - who was late in coming out to close down SWP allowing him the freedom to score? Or has the phat affected your eyesight as well? coogar: i thought chelsea would never lose with lampard in the team. ibime is a troglodyte with his moronic theories and brainless hypothesis. the wright-phillips goal was lampard's fault. the fat phuck was too slow to close down. Chelsea is associated with obesity... We have fat ibime, fat Frank and the fat waiter. |

debosky: Poor performance, IMO not very different from the Newcastle game (goals aside) - we didn't create much and were piss poor - especially Sagna considering how much room he had. Theo was mediocre, but so was most of the team on the night except maybe WS1 and Gibbs.
We need to freshen up this squad with January signings - Wenger and Gazidis over to you.
Regardless of whatever happens in January - Arsenal will knock Bayern out of the CL. Debosky, can you put your mortgage on this? |

honeric01: Well it's all here in public view.
However i don't even think there's any cause for alarm, I think this sqaud can fit into any formation he decides to use. Well, let's see which players will make the final cut then we will know where we stand. |
Sports › Re: Odewingie, Martins & Taiwo Dropped For AFCON 2013 by chamotex(m): 3:31pm On Dec 30, 2012 |
honeric01: When i said many, i meant "6 out of the 10" listed as strikers. so that qualifies my many word. 6? I don't think so. Like I said, unless the coach is just looking to play players out of their 'natural' position which doesn't really make sense as it affects the composition of the squad. |
Sports › Re: Odewingie, Martins & Taiwo Dropped For AFCON 2013 by chamotex(m): 1:53am On Dec 30, 2012 |
honeric01: Yes, all the names you listed can play in the midfield, the midfield is not just central alone, the wings are also included na. My bad, I meant CM in my initial post. But still only a few can play on the wings like I said, not many as you claimed unless the coach is looking to just play players out of their natural position. |
