mykali: "THIS IS OUR SEASON"

Those are the words of Sensei Uzumaki Mykali, the newly appointed manager of the newly revamped Mykaliz Destroyerz, previously known as Jinchuruki Fc, which used to be Drastik Measurez FC, which also used to be known as Kalizmatik FC in their first season in the Nairaland Fantasy Premier League. This very ambitious club has undergone a lot of changes in order to keep up with the BIG GUNS in the NFPL which include MUBZ FC, IKPUKULU MARINES, ENYIMBA FC, PROLIFIC COCKBLOCKERZ and CHAMOKAZIE PORNSTARS to name a few. The enigmatic Sensei had this to say when our reporters caught up with him just after one of his Intense Spiritual sessions at the local Shaolin Temple.

darefestus: @Chamo
It depends on which way you look at it. We cld have also scored shit load of goals, we were not really ruthless in some games. Nevertheless, The defence for me isnt really a concern (maybe LB, but that is about it). With the return of Vidic, we are sorted at the back me thinks.
We scored over 100+ goals last season, how much more more do we want.
I think defence will be ok if we dont have an injury plagued season like the last one. No other team could really have coped with that many injuries at once. I think the squad is good in terms of numbers but I still feel it lacks that top quality midfielder. Not necessarily a DM as I dont think that is really need, I want more of a box to box Central midfielder.

Anyways, I figure with this signing most teams will spend more time defending against us than attacking us so undecided
I'm not talking about the defence in itself . . . more like the weakness in midfield that exposes our defence easily.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 9:40am On Aug 16, 2012
darefestus: I'm not talking about DM's here, chamo. A DM wouldnt fit into our system cuz our 2 midfielders shld be mobile and not just break play. I honestly think we need a Keano type player going into the new season but people like Coogar are always happy to remind us of Anderson, Fletcher and Clevs when even Fergie knows they wont last the season. As for defenders, we can cut Fergie some slack, Giggsy and Evans can act as cover for Evra. cheesy
I'm more worried about our defence than attack.
We conceded far too many goals by our standards last season, mostly as a result of the gaping hole in our midfield.
The way teams were slicing our defence open was a disgrace especially at OT.

A lot of teams got at our defence really easy which cost us some games/points

Fergie has already said he wont be getting a DM, he said he'd never had one and not looking to get one.
No wonder . . .I've always felt if he really wanted one, he would have bought one.

I really dont know what to say about this RvP issue.
It is a good addition as it will make us stronger but it's not really what we need at this time.
I'm happy with it but not overly excited...and the look on Arsenal's fans faces though - that would be priceless. grin

coogar: vidic did his cruciates...his knee.
fletcher had stomach trouble...he doesn't play with his stomach, does he?
muamba's problem is a cardiac issue which of course is very crucial in any sporting activity.

fletcher played for 30 mins few days ago.....without a shadow of doubt, he's few weeks away.
The same bowel disease that reoccurred the last time he tried to get back?
What's the assurance he's completely over it this time?

montelik: does vidic have a delabilitating disease, he has yet to recover from? does this condition affect his ability to train consistently much yet play week to week?

totally different circumstances..
Does Vidic's medical condition reoccur in a way that affects him from playing footy for the amount of time Fletcher has been off?

coogar: when was the last time vidic played before his comebacklast week?
Vidic doesn't have a medical condition.

Muamba just announced his retirement on medical advice.

coogar: fletcher should be ready by september!
Do you know the last time he played before last night?
We can't consider him as a solid/consistent player to help us in our drive for success in the nearest future.
We should hope he gets over his medical condition completely first.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chamotex(m): 11:48am On Aug 15, 2012
Coogar, why mention Fletcher in that list?
There is no way he will be rushed back not to talk about hitting top form even when he does.

Pornstars appoints KONY

The Chamokazzy Pornstars today unveiled Joseph Kony as their manager following the departure of Charlie Sheen #Winning at the end of last season. Kony (pictured above) has promised to wage war against other managers and deliver silverware to the fans of the pornstars this coming season. "Whether it's by kidnapping or match fixing, I will succeed at all cost" said Kony; who his getting his team prepared for its upcoming fixture in the league at the weekend.

Kony also commented on some issues involving the registration of some dud managers into the FA Cup H2H. There had been controversy surrounding the inclusion of Eldee FC in the league in which Kony commented - "The only reason I would want Eldee FC in the league is solely because of the 'awoof' 3 points my team would get. That is a sure banker". He also took a snide shot at the manager of Gat2win FC (Mr Nateevs) saying "On the Chelsea thread, this man comes up with all the analysis, players, tactics and the shape the Chelsea team needs to adopt but couldn't put that same idea into his fantasy team. His teams position last year was a disgrace".

There are rumours Joseph Kony will announce the signing of a new top class striker within the next 48 hours and fans of the prestigious football club are in celebratory mood with the hope that the club deliver major trophy at the end of the season.

aribisala0: Nothing African about expecting a man to pay your fashion expenses. Firstly Africans are very diverse and the attitudes on this issue even in Nigeria are multiple. So Hausas,Igbos and Edos have different attitudes.Probably most African women work very hard farming or trading to look after themselves and children.

Even now with urbanization this is more a thing of social class. Lower socio-economic class women i.e Oshodi,Mushin,Egbeda etc generally expect their men to "pay" them in a relationship. This class is not something that changes with wealth or status. A good example of such a person is the First Widow herself.
Women whose parents are financialy able, well raised and educated invariably grow up to be achievers. Even in university you see such women when they have no money they keep their heads down and study unlike the others who must have BB by force,do all kinds of "RUNS" and claim their parents are in Dubai when really they are in Dugbe.
In fact the comment about a man should pay for your hairdo immediately tells me your background more than anything else ; Orile ,Bandri or similar ghettoes,in short,a social climber.
Get out! Egbeda is not in a 'lower socio-economic class' angry

bebe4u: My virtual friends, i am posting this because i ant to share the burden i have in my life right now and i seek for honest answer and advice in which ever way. please keep it polite anyone could be in a similar situation and we could all learn from it at the end of the day.

I am 30years of age female working in the oil & gas sector and very comfortable financially. How ever i have been in a platonic relationship with a guy who is currently working in a bank but i am better off financially. He never hid his intention that he loves me and would want to take things to the next level but i have always maintain my stand of us not rushing things while trying to sort out my real feelings for him. He asked me to marry him recently and i accepted. The burden i have in my heart now is 1- I am not in love with him and also not sexually attracted to him. By that i mean im not crazily in love but i like him as a friend. 2- I have concerns about our financial obligation in the sense that i fear he might not provide for me the way a husband should for is wife. i am a traditional person where i believe a man should always provide for his wife no matter how small, im willing to support him but through the three years we have been friends he hasnt provided in the least of money for my salon session. i feel he is just taking advantage of the fact that i can afford it, so i feel differently. He currently lives with his family and younger brother. i talked to him one day and said he should get a house of his own but till date he hasnt and havent made any real effort at that yet he talks about facilitating meeting my parents et al. Question is what are the pros and cons of going ahead to marry this young man or should i just call it off as i have been tempted to several times. BTW he is 35yrs of age, has been working in the bank for 6 yrs as an employee. As we all know the presure young ladies face in the society about being single by 30years. Please respond with your candid advice. i will appreciate while i keep praying as most of you will end up saying to me. Thank you.
What the heck is this?
Nigerian men are in big trouble

Carrick would definitely be a guaranteed starter this season. It's Carrick and either one of Cleverley or Anderson with Kagawa playing behind Rooney

coogar: the best english midfielder by a county mile - now we know why he is anderson's best partner. the pass n move skills are peerless. cleverley thinks quick and knows what to do with the ball far quicker than any english player i have seen. i just hope he can stay fit this season----if we can get 30 league apps from him and anderson in that midfield, then we need no midfielder for the next 3 seasons!
He controlled the tempo and bossed that midfield with maturity. I was really impressed by him tonight.
Plus I think Fergie should go with a lone striker this season with Kagawa playing behind Rooney.

At 3-1 down Phelan was clueless as usual, just staring on the pitch like a lost goat.
