coogar: this is not blackberry fantasy football...He's a BB addict ![]() |
ritchboy: Why do you need 400m? Abeg stop exposing your lack of knowledge when it comes to European footie!!Shhhhh!!! lol |
coogar: don't think so.Seen him a couple of times. I know he's now Spain's first choice LB How good is he though, defensively? |
coogar: completely!Even with that you'd need 200m |
ritchboy: Klose costs more than RvP, Ronaldo etc! I know his international record is good but come the fork on!I sent it earlier. . . but I've sent it again though. Not sure how this new PM ish works. You might need to check your email address. |
afrodoc: chelsea really strengthening their attacing game dis offseason and city making some changes it seems.we hav got to get things right wit our buys o.wt do u guys tink abt d leighton baines rumorsThe reason I dont believe it is that, knowing Fergie, he'll probably only get an understudy for Evra and not a total replacement. And would Baines be prepared to play second fiddle? Defensively, I'm not too sure about Baines. He's better going forward I think we are stuck with Evra for another season at least ![]() |
coogar: i'd get my chance to assassinate mukina2.Some players are overpriced. Did u use the whole 100m? |
Codes sent |

StarBoard: For all the hot air David Gill was blowing, it's amazing to think Nick Powell is the subject of the discussion. Now what is wrong with buying a player for the future? Buying him doesn't guarantee anything - it might work out in some cases, might not work out in others. So because some players have failed to make it from the academy now mean we should forget to look into the future? It's not the first time we've done this - where the player comes from is a non factor, its the ability that matters. We bought the Da silva twins before they were 18, did Fergie buy them to go straight into the first team? No! But they found their way into the team at least (Rafael). We did it with Macheda too, he showed glimpses but couldn't cut it at OT. There have been several players that can be 'tagged' as success stories. Smalling was even bought from Non League football by Fulham before United snapped him up. Joe Hart was purchased from Shrewsbury Town by Man City - he wasn't bought to go straight into the first team then. He's arguably one of the best now Starboard, calm down I dont know why your blood dey hot. Signing an 18 yr old for 4mil is not a bad investment. So you cant even give me names of the players you want? |
StarBoard: And Nick Powell is th one we should be signing in a bid to regain our EPL crown.Starboard, calm down. He is 18, he is one for the future. I'm sure they are looking to groom him. The rumour suggested he might probably be allowed to stay on loan for a couple of seasons to further his development. It's all speculation at this moment anyway. Now tell me who you think United should buy for next season and why |
Fergie was at Wembley yesterday to watch Nick Powell. Rumour has it we are in pole position to sign him. One for the future, not bad for an 18 yr old. |
Debosky has finally given up on Dudu ![]() |
Is anyone watching the France vs Iceland friendly? Evra is totally finished. Abeg Ferguson find us a new LB too, not an understudy. Is this our Patrice? |
coogar: you want kagawa? what would kagawa add to what we already have? Why wont I want Kagawa? We need an attacking midfielder and a defensive one. Kagawa will be a good buy rather than spending 30 odd million on Hazard. Should we keep relying on Scholes and Giggs? Haven't you said on here they should retire? Or we should keep faith with Fletcher who may never even play again. We are short of bodies in midfield especially when injury strikes. That is why Rafael and Park both played CM against Blackburn. And about the DM situation, I've said it numerous times here that we are the only team in the top four (probably even in elite Europe) without a natural DM. We need a player that will just sit there and make us solid. And also before people start speculating about who to buy , we need to be sure what system/formation Fergie would employ for next season first. It seems Fergie will stick to his traditional 4-4-2. The man is stubborn. |
We should just finalise this Kagawa deal already and focus on the next target. |
coogar: how's it the worst way? we finished 89 points as a defending championsI am talking about this game. We lost it in the last few minutes. We went from being champions to runner up in the last minute. That is the worst way to lose it. If City had scored 3 goals in the first 10 minutes, then it wouldn't be that bad . . . but snatching it like that at the death of it is heart-breaking. |
Did anyone see Fergie's face when Citeh scored the winner? He was jubilating a few seconds earlier. I disagree coogar, it is the worst way to lose a championship . . . in the last minute. If Citeh won it the best way . . . then surely we lost it the worst way. Can the Euros start already |
