I don't care who plays against Bolton . . . . just put 3 points on board . . . shikena!

We can't afford to drop points before the international break.

I respect anyone who chooses the difficult way to achieve their dream instead of short cuts. Mandela, MLK & AW  tongue haha!

The Arsenal board decided they wanted to run a good club, hired AW and gave him a project. Which he is doing to his best. AW did not ask to build a stadium or look for kids around the world. AW is a purist, believes in his philosophy and in people so much (which is why he is getting all the heat).
Comparing with Barcelona La Masia academy, what percentage of academy players qualify to the Barca senior team? About 10% since it was started, while Barcelona's system screens failures early and cut their loses early (even if sometimes they get it wrong), AWs system and belief allows them to be on the real team. When grooming young kids the failure rate is high.
This season has shown, he is learning his mistakes and re-strategising his philosophy. Even AW wants to win. The best way to know if this works will be in the future 10-20 years from now.

BTW the league statistics of winners shows that the club that pays higher wages wins the league, Arsenal has being at best 3rd or 4th in the past 5 years. Ask the higher earners if they have returned on their investments. This season Manchester City is number 1 on wages and you know they won't win.
You! you have started again abi.
Just embarrassing yourself up and down. embarassed

You know what the guy meant, 2006-2011 = SINCE 2006. There is only a one year gap between Arsenal's last trophy and Liverpool's yet even at this time last year(when Liverpool's current drought was the same with Arsenal's then) Arsenal were getting 10 times more bashing despite the fact Arsenal's trophy drought is clearly caused by the stadium move while Liverpool just self-destructed.

Admit it, Arsenal are public enemy no 1.
grin grin grin grin

Was it the stadium move that prevented Arsenal from beating Birmingham in the CC final?

Here is a list of recent champions and their trophy drought but the media makes Arsene and Arsenal their object of obsession.
Barcelona 1999-2005 (no single trophy)
Inter Milan 1998-2006
Chelsea 2000-2005
Manchester United 1985-1990 (with Ferguson, no single trophy)
Liverpool 1995-2001 & 2006-2011

They even could not qualify for Champions league tongue, but with Arsenal FC the measuring stick is different.
You are just disgracing yourself on a public forum
oshea is a better midfielder than a defender. that was confirmed today. he won every tackle he attempted. he wasn't indecisive like he does when he's playing closer to the goal. i am happy to see valencia running the flanks again and i must also commend chris smalling. he was a thorn in van persie's flesh.
Was it O'Shea or P.Neville that strangled the life out of the GAYnners some years back.
I think it was against Vieira in midfield.

I thought Smalling today was excellent . . . the run of games have helped him a lot.
He now looks composed and confident.

Good to see Valencia, didn't look out of place at all . . . slotted in perfectly. good time to have him back.
