This is so disturbing to say the least. In this
time and age of civilization, a supposedly
educated person who is Governor of a state,
is inciting this much violence from his
followers? What sort of human beings do we
have as leaders in this country? SMH.
The Governor of Kaduna state, Ramalan Yero,
has threatened to call out his supporters to
inflict damage on the opposition All
Progressives Congress, APC, if his team is
ever attacked while campaigning.
Speaking in Hausa language to his
supporters, Mr. Yero vowed swift “revenge” if
ever attacked by any one “born of woman”.
“If you are born of a woman, please pelt us
with stones, when we go out for campaigns.
We dare you to destroy or burn our vehicles.
Burn our House. I swear by Allah, anyone who
does any of these things, we will
revenge,” the governor said.
The remarks came as an escalation of an
already tense electioneering ahead of
February polls, seen in Kaduna State as a
contest mainly between the governor and
former Minister, Nasir El Rufai, of the APC.
Addressing his supporters, a furious Yero
threatened to stop El-Rufai from entering
Kaduna State henceforth.
Premium Times obtained an audio
recording of the governor addressing his
supporters and threatening violence against
El-Rufai.
He said as governor, he has the power to stop
the former minister from even leaving his
house.
“If I say you should not come to Kaduna, I
swear you cannot come. If I say you should
not leave your house, I swear you cannot
leave.
Yero also said he has the power to demolish
the El-Rufai’s house if he wishes to.
“If I say they should demolish your House, I
swear by Allah, they would demolish it
immediately,” he said.
“If you think we cannot do it, try us and see,
continue with what you are doing, by God’s
grace we will show you,” Yero said.
Governor Yero also threatened to deal with
APC supporters if they dare attack the
campaign trail of the PDP.

A young beauty queen thought her pageant
prize of free plastic surgery was to die for —
until it actually killed her.
Catherine Cando Cornejo – a gorgeous 19-
year-old who won “Queen of Duran” in
Ecuador in October – died Saturday while
having abdominal liposuction in Guayaquil.
According to NY Post: The brunette stunner
was admitted to a Guayaquil clinic at 8:23
a.m. – hoping to slim one inch from her
already small waist.
But nearly 10 hours later her family was
notified that she had died.
They claim it was due to medical
malpractice.
“The doctor insisted on several occasions and
convinced her to undergo surgery” her
brother Daniel Zavala Cornejo said.
“She was thinking about letting someone else
have it as a freebie but eventually she agreed
to have it just to get him off her back,” he
said
According to Carlos Reyes, a family lawyer –
the beauty queen, who was also a student
and a model, died of cerebral edema
(swelling of the brain).
“The clinic lawyer said the death was due to
cardiac arrest — but we have a copy of the
autopsy and it turns out the cause was stated
as cerebral edema; this is presumably due to
problems with anesthesia,” Reyes said.
The surgery was awarded as part of the
winning prize in the pageant.
But a spokesman for the mayor of Duran said
the doctor who performed the operation was
one of the judges at the pageant and offered
to give the pageant winner a $1,000 coupon
for surgery.
“I was told she had died of a brain edema,
but the clinic staff told her relatives that she
had died of a cardiac arrest. We made it clear
that the prizes we hand out, our prizes, were
a car and tablet,” he said.

ordered members of his congregation to bring
along with them their Permanent Voters Card,
when coming this Sunday.
Oyedepo, made this shocking announcement
at the church’s mid-week service which took
place yesterday at the church permanent site

State.
He ordered his congregation to present their

A British father has been sentenced to four
years in jail after he sent his son to daycare
with a lunchbox filled with drugs and knives.
Lee Webb, 23, from Folkestone in Kent, had
dropped off his three-year-old son at Smarty
Pants Nursery School last March, Metro UK
reports.
Webb, who was reportedly in a hurry, gave
his son a Tupperware filled with drugs and
drug paraphernalia.
Once Webb realized the mistake he made, he
went back to the daycare to ask for the
lunchbox. By then, the center’s teachers had
already found mephedrone, cocaine,
weighing scales, other drug-related items and
two knives in the toddlers’ lunchbox.
Staff at the Smarty Pants nursery school
refused to return the box and immediately
alerted police, who took possession of the
box and its content.
Webb had left the premises when the officers
were called. The officers then showed up at
Webb’s home.
When the officers searched Webb’s home,
they found a stash of cocaine worth $1,020.
On Jan. 6, Webb pleaded guilty on two counts
of possession of controlled substances with
the intent to supply. He was sentenced to
four years in jail.
