Change for me is when the forces of law and order start to investigate and prosecute without fear or favour.
Change means a government that will not tolerate incompetent or fraudulent persons within its ranks. Change also means the start of intelligent discussion about how to improve our education system, and start generating jobs for the masses of the unemployed. Change also means freedom from the simple minded ethnicist in Aso rock to a more nationalistic leadership.

Agabal23, I'm really glad with your responses to those questions because Bacarnista gave many half baked responses...hope you were able to go through my reply to him". This is an enlightenment thread for everyone and I hope i'll be able to also dissect your responses on those questions today.

Btw what do you mean by APC celebrating the failed SA arms deal?? I'm surprised at such a statement.
The stupidest action in the world is a government that sends officials with briefcases full of cash to buy armaments for the military. This could only happen in a banana republic and to have anyone think this action was in any way reasonable, beggars belief. The fact that the money was undeclared and that the persons were attempting to buy arms from a company without export certification, were both illegal acts under south African law. We are not and should be in the business of celebrating stupidity.

The fact remains that Jonathan in his own words admits he underestimated boko haram, to which I reply, for over four fvkn years?! Is that a President that was interested in knowing why thousands of his citizens went to their graves, while the whole country has seen information concerning how poorly our foot soldiers are treated? Four wasted years, and suddenly, magic happens at the last minute before a delay in the elections. Not one person I know from borno thinks the government is innocent in this matter. Our army that has restored peace to Liberia, Sierra Leone etc suddenly impotent before a stupid little group of apostates? And yes, it is pertinent to ask, what has been the outcome of the interrogations of the hundreds of prisoners taken, or is it these people were just innocent bystanders grabbed to make the security services look like they are doing something? Right now the phones and other communication tools of the APC elders are being monitored, and yet there has been no evidence found to back the smear campaign of the government that the apc is behind the insurgents. In fact there has been no useful information. I pity the cross-dresser that was arrested near the scene of the bomb attack on Buhari, yet another victim of our unintelligent intelligence services.

Why didn't the government send the funds for arms purchases through the CBN, or our embassy in south Africa, why wasn't the south African government consulted, or is it that they too are supporting boko haram and the APC? You see an attempt at fraud and try to paint it otherwise. Ish!

There is rarely and election with 99/100% turnout by voters yet people celebrated this fraud in 2011 because it was Jonathan. We are wiser, and now we see through his shallow scheming. PoliticsRe: What Is The Basic Merits And Demerits Of Using A Card Reader In Election? by Change2015(m): 3:22pm On Mar 11, 2015
Why the Presidency and the PDP are fighting the use of card readers for the 2015 general elections
March 11, 2015.
The presidency and PDP have relentlessly fought the use of card readers for the 2015 general election. While they are still fighting to stop the use of card readers, it is pertinent to understand the role of the card reader in the 2015 general election so that one will be better informed on why the PDP does not want the use of card readers for the 2015 general election. It is also important to analyze some previous results of former presidential elections where the PDP allegedly won.
What the card reader will do:
1. The card reader will authenticate only cards that were produced and issued by INEC
2. The card reader will automatically send the number of accredited voters from each polling unit to the INEC data at the national office
3. The card reader will prevent impersonation of voters
The figures obtained from the vote cast in 2011 presidential election from the South east and south south
States No. of reg voters. Party Votes Won % of # of votes cast
Anambra 1,758,220 PDP 1,145,169 98.96%
Enugu 1,301,185 PDP 802,144 98.54%
Akwa Ibom 1,714,781 PDP 1,165,629 94.58%
Imo 1,611,715 PDP 1,381,357 97.98%
Ebonyi 876,249 PDP 480,592 95.57%
Bayelsa 472,389 PDP 504,811 99.63%
Abia 1,481,191 PDP 1,175,984 98.96%
Delta 1,900,055 PDP 1,378,851 98.59%
Rivers 2,419,057 PDP 1,817,762 98.04%
The results above showed that there were over 95% turn out of voters in all the states in the South east and South south in the 2011 presidential election. This was against the generally accepted 50% turn out of voters by local and international observers for the same election. It is also worthy to not that no governorship, senatorial election and House of representatives election recorded up to 60% turn out of voters even though more voters turned out for the later elections than the presidential election.
To buttress the fact, in Imo state, the governorship election in 2011 was keenly contested and the votes scored were as follows; Rochas Okorocha polled a total of 336,859 votes to defeat Governor Ikedi Ohakim of the Peoples Democratic Party , PDP , who came a distant second with 290,496 votes. The total votes for the two 627,358. This is against the 1,381,357 recorded for President Jonathan in Imo state in the presidential election with a lower turn out of voters compared to the governorship election.
With the use of the card reader, there will not be addition of votes to any candidate as the number of accredited voters will be sent directly to INEC database in Abuja which will be compared with the numbers recorded in all polling units. By that these kind of magic figures generated by Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 will be curbed.

Danjuma is not supporting Jonathan and cares nothing for him. A man that took Obasanjo’s government to court and won, is it the weakling Jonathan that will trouble him? Is it not the same PDP that allowed him to 'select' the governor for his state? He fully expects Buhari to be the next president and we in the apc know it.

Gbamest gbosa for you! You just hit the nail on the head!!! This is what I keep telling people who can not see beyond their noses. A win for Buhari will see a cataclysmic dissolution of Nigeria!! If you like kill shekau & his foot soldiers but so far north remains Islam & poverty remains widespread, terror & religious violence will never end, I am not a preacher of doom but just being realistic!!! Conversly, a defeat for president Jonathan, with all the sabotage, harassment & intimidation while he was on seat, anti Nigeria sentiment will grow so much in the S.south that any charismatic & influential personality from there would attempt to lead them away from Nigeria. I don't see Nigeria military fighting both an Islamic ideological war in the north & a rebel movement in the Niger-delta. GEJ TILL 2019 IS FOR THE SURVIVAL OF NIGERIA!!!
It is amusing how you peddle fear to support the cause of Jonathan. Mark my words, any existential threat to the unity and territorial integrity of Nigeria under Buhari /APC will be firmly put down. The years of weakness and bribing all and sundry will be over. Why will there be religious violence? When most of the Christians outside the south East are welcoming Buhari? All this hot air will dissipate into nothing because we will have a popularly elected government in office and the pdp and it's supporters will have no choice but to accept that the 'people' have spoken. Jonathan, and his wife will be quickly forgotten.
