You happily applaud the man that could not even execute the East-West Road, 2nd Niger bridge, maintain any of the major interstate expresses in the East, and then have the gall to be mouthing off about northern what? It is realpolitik not hypocrisy. The election manifesto of the APC promised many things to Nigerians, not just probes. The wickedness of some people is that they have already been shouting witch-hunt and yet they will also say continue and invest all your energy and goodwill in investigating the past. Buhari is also looking forward. We need electricity, jobs, security not just probes.
And yes, if Jonathan and his wife and ministers end up in jail, that will send a seismic moral shock through the polity and I for one will celebrate. But the focus of the government must be on how to improve and stabilise our present and future as Nigerians in Nigeria.
