@dencotex, I don't believe its about when one comes to Christ. Witchcraft wasn't as widespread and deadly in the 80s as it is now. God opened my eyes last year to see a large number of children chased to the front of my gate by my neighbor at night. She used to be the one hosting the children party in the estate before her husband died. Am sure that was y they went there first. Now these children will start to develop that wicked spirit from that age and become terror themselves. See the woman I talked about previously that God warned me about is not a casual Christian but a woman that God used to heal mad people and even raise half dead people. She is well known. A wife of a minister. So I kept questioning my vision when God showed her to me. She is very close to me hence my hesitation. And then last year so unexpectedly she came for my life. She and her cohort and God made me see her,her daughter and their cohorts and delivered me that night. I am also happy that thier judgement has started. I have suffered enough.Yes, 'the jealous look and pretence smile' like Charly said is their signature and they also lie a lot. Now to answer your questions, I have been in the ministry and I can tell u that some souls are beyond redemption. Right in the church wickedness is prevailing. I have seen a woman who is a marine witch hold a whole church to ransome. U come in wealthy and leave wretched. Every new pastor that comes is bought over by food and gift and he becomes spiritually blind. I have seen so many prayerful and spiritually active children in bondage and poverty owing to witchcraft bondage. I still pray for so many that they won't fall owing to operation of this powers. So many true Christians have lose their life in this battle. See, this world is deep and wickedness abound. God wants His children to be free. With this your gentleman attitude u have, u might not cope in the ministry back here o. The atmosphere has changed and the battle is fierce my brother. The devil is not smiling so neither should we o. I have experienced attacks that make me marvel at the height of wickedness we are facing. So let the violent take it by force

@divine2020 Another point to consider regarding deliverance/warfare and instructions in certain contexts regarding wicked unrepentant people, anti-christ people or rebels to buttress your story-
Paul directed the church to give some people up to satan for the destruction of their flesh so they would learn as they were harmful to the church and wouldn't change. Infact he did it twice one for the church and one for wicked people against God's work, the latter to bring infirmities, discipline or even death

I like your spirit and I see that you have an acute mind to learn. But however knowledge is in parts... when you do not know why you are suffering and why your family is in fixed, it would seem plausible to blame generational curse or witchcraft.

I want to be a bit academical in the way I will answer you.

1) It is quiet possible that witchcraft or generational altar could be the cause, no doubt.
2) Unlike other ministers who would quickly speak the words you want to hear, I am realistic about my knowledge in Christ... that is humility. I do not know all... but I can teach you how I fixed my own problem.
3) Thank God you have master degree... telling me about spiritual attacks and suicide attempt, is like saying my Christianity have been smooth riding so I can afford to be arrogant. I only felt that you did not know anything about me at all... so let me download some info that may encourage you.
4) You have master degree now... I gave my life in the 80's so you can only guess how old I am now! By the time I gave my life, my father technically stopped sponsoring my education... I should have gotten my first degree at UNN by 1994 in Electronic Engineering. My family members persecuted me... even my friends, especially Joseph wicked mother and others. When I had enough, I dropped out of UNN after 300 level. I suffered and had to depend on gospel music to survive for many years. So that was the end of education for me... no degree.
5) I packed my load and left home to stay in Abuja. I slept in an uncompleted church by a swamp for 3 months....mosquitoes bite me terribly. After the persecutions of being a born again in the 80's... we were the minority then and highly a cause for ridicule...carrying a bible is deemed as fanatism. So what I began to suffer in Abuja from 1996 upward was light to me because Jesus have made me a soldier, who have been beaten, kicked, disowned, mocked and laughed at. My family members considered me an outlier outcast.... nothing good can come out of me. While my other brother who was not born again was the toast... who went ahead to graduate.
6) As for suicide? May be I was to born again to admit I contemplated that... but fastword to 2009 in Abuja I had not made any progress in life at all.... and my thirties was nothing to write home about. I was in debt, harrased by police because poverty did not make me return the laptop I repaired ontime. And that was then I KNEW THAT SOMETHING WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG WITH EITHER GOD OR ME AND MY CHRISTIANITY.
7) On 24 and 25th of December 2009, I was fasting not because I wanted to... but because I had no food at home to eat. That was the day I went the extra mile with God to find all the answers I wanted about my afflictions....

My once comfortable Christian parents now feed from hand to mouth. My immediate elder brother who used to be the breadwinner of my family just died few months ago. Some of us have masters degree but yet no job. God revealed a witch to me years back and ordered I cut her down. I turned around to pray for repentance for her. And the point is that the warfare is against the principalities, forces, powers, and demons of which those people cling to, not humans. So if you war against those demons which we are commanded to do, For many of them that are unrepentant, they become so attached that they refuse to part with the demons and principalities no matter what and they perish with them or undergo God's judgement with them. Also God's sovereignty is also there as he commands his children sometimes to do certain things in certain contexts according to his word as he's omniscient and knows all, the end from the beginning.

Dencotext it is very wrong and unspiritual of you to come to a thread started by a servant of God whom you know is on a mission for God and has flock here and try to "rebuke" him openly. It is very unscriptural if you want to talk about scripture(1Tim5:1) and can be no better than seen as from a wrong spirit.

If there is even a reason to rebuke him and you were mature about it you could have sent him a mail. And if he doesn't agree with your view, why not just face what the Lord has given you.
There are diversities of operations but one God(1Cor 12:6) and we are members of one body with different functions.
I can assure you there is a place for God's wrath against sons of perdition if the Spirit of God orchestrates it which is what happened in CharlyG1 case. As a matter of fact that's exactly why the Lord sent him there. Go and read what Paul did with barjesus.
There is, of course, always the place for maintaining love towards enemies but we must follow the Spirit's leading and always be on His side

Brother, this is not the first time. Go way back earlier on the thread. The former ones were even worse and suspect in nature. I knew since then that this guy has something disguised underneath, but I wasn't sure. Of Course, christians have different point of views on non-damning matters , definitely and we still get along despite that.

MFM is different from Christ Embassy, which is different from Winners, which are all different from Orthodox churches around the world, which is also different from Reformed Churches around the world. But what unites them is the fundamental belief in the tenets of Christianity which can never be compromised else they go against Jehovah.

The differences in non-damning doctrines like music(drums/percussion), deliverance, warfare, cessationism(tongues/healing/prophecy) etc , is definitely expected and can be discussed but you see this Decontext guy, he has a different motive. It is not advisable to treat anybody as your enemy. In fact God said "As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. " Honestly what am I trying to say here, it is simply about leading these people to Christ and making it always to be our focal point... I did not say you cannot pray that they should die... hahahaha... but what will it profit you anyway? When you get to heaven, you will know why the soulwinner crowns are so glorious. Jesus came to die for everybody... we have so many instances where the early christian encountered these people and yet laboured to deliver them. Acts 19:19 "And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books and burned them in front of everyone." God pass satan. Jesus also taught us that man is never our ENEMY but the devil. Matt .5:43, 44 “You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you". If by any means God finds lack of love IN YOU, rejoicing in the downfall of your enemies (although bible says no man is your enemy except satan).... you could miss HEAVEN. We are trying to make sure you are led by the Holy Spirit in the way you pray... some like the German evangelist Bonnke prayed and winned many souls, including wizards. And why does God reward everybody according to their works, whether good or bad? This is a teaching for another day.

This was what happened to one big minister of God in Nigeria, you all know his name... on the pulpit he decided to slap a little girl openly on camera who claimed to be a witch. Sometimes when a righteous king in the old testament misbehave and send the wrong message to people, God punished them severely... this minister received the repercussions immediately from the news media and from human right activists, and was even banned not to step foot on UK to preach because of that single act...

Yh.Years back. She sent me a text that she liked me a lot and she even seduced me. The temptation during the seduction was severe but I didn't fall. Apart from other contextual verses and scriptures, lets see what Paul was saying in that same chapter he admonishes us of grieving the spirit

I tried to reason with you to create peace in my first reply, to make sure there's no division and unnecessary strife in a thread that is full of Jesus loving believers, but no, your unintelligent pride wants to get in the way. No love, no understanding or explanatory peace making actions, mockery, and you think you are walking in the spirit or doing the will of God.

Get in line and immerse yourself in the word of God first. I wouldn't even use scriptures yet to reply your main arrogant angry concerns cos it's evident you don't want to reason. He seems like those believers who dont believe in the experiential church movement in our time, the "God told me", "I saw a vision" , "I had this dream which seems to be affecting me" , "God said this would happen". He is more on the cautious side of belief it seems

A lot of believers round the world are cessationists while much more are not. it's a doctrinal division not a damning belief.

I really need an advice. I currently work with one of the Nigerian banks. My monthly take home is about 450k and quite good. My major problem right now is that I have just been transferred from a Branch at one end of Lagos to another end of Lagos. All efforts to convince my boss to deploy me to a closer branch has proved abortive.

Going to work daily right now is a very difficult especially during this raining season and covid 19th period. I spend roughly 3-4 hours on the road when going to work and back home.

I am currently raising my kids on my own right now and dont know how I would manage when school resumes. Before now I drop them off on my way to work in the morning and my friend picks them up to her house in the afternoon till I get back.

I currently have a savings of 2million and would love to start a biz( I dont know what kind) as am comptemplating resigning and start a biz instead so that I can have time for my kids and not die due to stress

I would advice you stick for now and watch how things unfold considering your salary is fairly good. Does your company provide inconvenience/relocation allowances? That should offset the stress a bit till you try to resolve the situation with hierarchy. At IOCs, an inconvenience/relocation allowance is very large atimes in millions, i don't know about banks, but it's something you should look at

Cos a genuine christian would never be infatuated with wealth to the point of loving his wealth.. Such would never make heaven cos his love for the world would overshadow his commitments.
