Two Nigerian men have landed in trouble for allegedly extorting money from motorists recently in Busto Arsizio city in Italy. 

The migrants were caught on camera collecting money from motorists to park their cars in a parking space which is meant to be free. The men also made fun and mocked the person who was filming them.

According to reports, the men were reported to the authorities who have  taken action as the Nigerians have been sacked from their work. 

Some months ago, some Italians took to Facebook to lament over Nigerians and other Africans who are finding it difficult to abide by the rules in their country (Italy).

The outrage by the Italians followed after an African migrant assaulted a female official after she asked him for his ticket at a metro station in Rome, the country’s capital city.

A man accused of stealing fish from a poultry in Asaba, Delta state, got more than he bargained for after he was severely dealt with.

The man who is said to be one of the oldest worker at the farm, was reportedly caught red handed while trying to steal fish from the poultry.

The able bodied man was stripped off his clothes and flogged mercilessly till blood came out of his body.

He was beaten and disgraced publicly to serve as a deterrent to others..

A human rights activist has revealed his displeasure over a case of a 74-year-old who raped a teenage girl in Warri area of Delta state. 

It was reported that the septuagenarian identified as John Obi had carnal knowledge of the 14-year-old girl and infected her with sexually transmitted disease. 

The activist, Israel Joe took to Facebook to lament as the case is being stalled because the girl's parents want out of court settlement with the suspect. 

The suspect is currently in police custody and the victim is being treated.

I received a call at about 10am this morning from a woman comrade telling me how a 74 year old man named John Obi who resides at Warri Area of Delta State defiled a 14 years old girl. At first I declined because a lot of cases that has to do with defilement/rape are always been truncated because complainants turn out towards settling out of court.

She insisted I lend my voice by calling the police and ensuring the man is prosecuted. I called the DPO who told me the had minuted that the case be charged to court. On getting there, it was the same story of settlement. I was angry but helpless not because the complainants will not appear in court but because the girl according to medical report was infested with some sexually transmitted infections.

Attempting to detain the parents for conspiracy also met a deadlock. I can't be calm buy to thank the police for their roles and all efforts made. John Obi is presently at detention right now and treatment has commenced for the little girl.

Something is fundamentally wrong with this society. I'm not happy at all.

A man and his married lover have become subjects of criticisms from online users after a video of them having sex surfaced online. 

It was alleged that the said man has been sleeping with the married woman for quite sometime now before their secret was exposed following the emergence of their sex tape.

According to media reports, the sex tape was allegedly leaked by an aggrieved party who is said to be close to the married woman. 

Internet users have been quick to react to the trending footage, with many blasting the unidentified 'couple' for engaging in the shameful and immoral act.

There was pandemonium on Monday in Ijero-Ekiti, headquarters of Ijero Local Government Area of Ekiti State where a gang of armed robbers attacked a branch of Access bank.

According to reports, the robbers killed two policemen, a bank worker and passersby during the attack which took place at about 4.30 pm few minutes after the bank had officially closed for work.

Apart from those killed in the attack, other bank workers and some customers at Automated Teller Machine (ATM) gallery sustained injuries.

It was gathered that the robbers announced their arrival with gun shots which frightened residents scampering for safety.

The bandits reportedly blew the bank’s security door with dynamite to gain access into the baking hall.

They were said to have made away with unspecified amount of money during the raid which was said to have lasted for about an hour.

The heavy shooting by the robbers paralysed transportation, economic and social activities.

Mr. Nicholas Adetsav and his three children have been finally laid to rest. They were buried amid tears on Monday, November 19th at their hometown in Gwer-East local government of Benue state.

It was gathered that the villagers refused the wife, Rachel to be buried along with the rest of the family after it was alleged that she killed her husband, three children before finally killing herself. 

According to reports, late Nicholas Adetsav and his children were taken to Tse-Adetsav, Mbavur, Mbahimin, Gbemacha Ward Gwer-East Local Government for final burial where the husband's family and other villages rejected her corpse which they labelled an abomination.

Four corpses were buried in the family compound instead of five. 

The wife was initially omitted from the previous obituary as the rest of the family members were scheduled to be buried on Friday, November 16th before she was included in the updated poster.

A pastor has claimed that two snakes were found fighting in front of his church after an intense prayer session some days ago. 

The cleric identified as Evangelist Chibuzo Fredrick, who lives in Lagos state, took to social media to share pictures of two dead snakes as he alleged and implied that they were found fighting themselves in front of the church due to his prayers. 

The pastor from Nnewi area of Anambra state also shared another picture of a snake that was killed and later burnt which he claimed happened after prayers. 

Sharing the pictures on Facebook, the pastor wrote; 

After a very hot prayer section this morning, two snakes were found fighting in the front of our church. I declare your enemies shall fight against themselves in Jesus Mighty Name I pray.

During the search and rescue of a soldier identified as L/Cpl Oluwabukunmi Fadoju, who got missing since 17 September 2018, a little abandoned and malnourished child was saved by soldiers in Ebonyi state.

According to reports, troops of 24 Support Engineer Regiment Abakaliki got to Onunwakpu market in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State on 16 November 2018. They discovered a malnourished child locked up in a house.

The child was seated under a charm and was picking leaves from ground to eat.

Consequently, the troops burnt the charms, gave him some banana and biscuits to eat, and thereafter, took him to own Medical Reception Station for treatment.

The child was subsequently handed over to Ebonyi State Government.

A lady accused of being a kidnapper was humiliated by an angry crowd after she was reportedly caught trying to steal a new born baby in Anambra state.

The incident caused a huge scene in Okpoko, Onitsha area of the state, after the alleged kidnapper was nabbed by the residents while 'trying to kidnap a baby from a teenage girl'.

It was reported that the lady claimed she had discussed and agreed with the teenager who gave birth out of wedlock that she will buy the baby from her.. The lady said the agreement was made when the girl was 7 months pregnant.

The angry residents who didn't believe her story, later handed her to the authorities after disgracing her and forcing her to roll in a muddy water.

According to the Nigerian army, one Sale Ahmad Sale a. k. a. Baban Hassan the leader of Al-Barnawi Media group, a faction of Boko Haram was killed by a joint operation conducted by the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Airforce.

The killing of the media leader is indicative of efforts by the army to eliminate key members of the sect.

It is worthy to note that the sect is directly affiliated to the Islamic State and has carried out several attacks against own troops and innocent civilians in the past.

Therefore, the death of the group’s media leader shows that the leadership is being targeted successfully and soon other key members would be apprehended or neutralised, thus decimating the group and its activities.

Meanwhile, the new leader of JAMA'ATU NUS'RATUL-ISLAMI WAL-MUSLIMINA, Abul- Fadl Iyad Gali has also been identified.

The group is a new terrorist group which Ansaru is affiliated to. In the same vein, the identification of the leader of JAMA'ATU NUS'RATUL-ISLAMI WAL-MUSLIMINA group would enable the Nigerian army target the group effectively using advanced technologies in its arsenal.

This is as the existence of group portends grave danger to Nigeria’s national security.

Following the unfortunate incident which happened on Tuesday, November 13, after a revenue collector purportedly pursued a heavy duty truck into causing a fatal accident on the Aba River Bridge at waterside area of Ogbor hill in Abia state, governor Okezie Ikpeazu, set up a high powered state delegation to investigate the matter. 

The accident saw two passengers including a woman who were in a commercial tricycle a.k.a 'Keke Napep', killed and others injured. 

The state governor directed the committee to investigate the remote and immediate cause(s) of the sad accident and visit the families of the deceased victims and those at the hospital to enable the get factual details of what happened during the incident.

Those involved in the accident are; 

1. The truck driver (name not known).
2. The Keke driver - Mr. Temple Chibunna a 27 years old boy from Umuisenta Umuokahia II, in Obingwa LGA.
3. A  51-year-old teacher from Umuezechi in Bende LGA, known as Mrs. Ekeh Onwuka Chioma- Principal II at Ndiegero Secondary School, Ulasi Road, Aba).

4. The unofficial Revenue tout ( Agbero) - Mr. Chijioke Kalu - a 28 years old boy, who allegedly caused the accident while pursuing the truck driver.

The investigating Police Officer (IPO) while narrating his findings said that the agbero on seeing that he had caused the accident jumped into Aba river but was quickly accosted by some butcher who also dived into the river and brought him out to a waiting angry mob that beat him up before the arrival of the police.

The police rescued him together with other victims to New Era Hospital where they were rejected. While deciding where next to go,(the teacher) Mrs. Ekeh Onwuka Chioma died at the hospital there and was taken to St. Anthony Mortuary, while the Agbero and the Keke Driver were taken to Abia State Teaching Hospital, Aba where the Keke driver (Mr. Temple Chibunna) also gave up the ghost and was taken to SDA Hospital Mortuary. Consequently only the Agbero Mr. Chijioke Kalu was admitted at ABSUTH Aba.

The Agbero, Mr. Chijoke Kalu, was admitted with deep pain resulting from mob beating as he was bleeding from his nose and ear with a swollen eye.

A 24-year-old man identified as Osamudiamen Amayo has been remanded in prison by an Egor Magistrate court sitting in Benin, Edo state, on the 12th of November, 2018 for allegedly having canal knowledge with a boy of 9 years.

The incident happened around Medical Stores road, Benin City.

It was gathered that luck ran out of the suspect when the mother of the victim started noticing strange behaviour of her son and the incremental lose of weight.

Upon further investigation, the victim told his mother how Osamudiamen had incessantly had canal knowledge with him with threats to kill him and the mother if he discloses what happens between them to anybody.

The matter was reported to Edo Civil Society Organisations, who took it up as the suspect was arrested by the police and later charged to court.

The suspect was remanded in prison without bail conditions and case adjourned to 6th of December, 2018.

Panic gripped residents of Oghara community, in Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State, after suspected ritualists allegedly attacked and killed a man early this morning. 

It was gathered that the vital organs of the deceased man were severed off by the suspected ritualists. 

According to reports, the police in Oghara, in collaboration with the vigilante, are making efforts to evacuate the remains of the deceased man.

 Residents were also seen having a glimpse of the lifeless body of the victim.

The incident, it was learnt, has sparked serious tension in the area as many now fear for dear life.

Men of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) have apprehended a suspected female suicide bomber in Borno state.

According to reports, the young girl who covered herself in a hijab - was caught while patrolling along Semari-Usmanti behind the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) in the state capital.

The suspect was handed over to the Nigerian army.

Just last week, the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) killed suspected members of Boko Haram terrorists at Gallo area of Gazabure village in Gubio local government area, Borno state.

They CJTF members killed over eight Boko Haram members during a clearance patrol in the area.

The renewed cult clash in Rivers state has claimed two lives following the latest attack by rival gangs in Choba area of the state. 

The residents woke up this morning to a gory sight of two young men who were killed and beheaded by suspected cultists. The naked bodies of the young men were left abandoned after the gruesome murder and their heads dumped by the roadside.

The incident is said to have caused panic and tension in the area as the residents are calling on security agencies to step up and prevent an impending reprisal attack. 

Some months ago, a cult violence left five persons dead in Omerelu community, Ikwerre Local Government Area of  Rivers State. 

It was gathered that four persons were beheaded as rival cults clashed in the community.
