A scorned lady went berserk after hearing that her boyfriend was spotted with another lady in Delta state. The lady simply identified as Christabel stormed her boyfriend's house, Tony after hearing that he took another lady to his duplex to have fun.

After arriving the house in anger, the lady threw away a pot of soup in the kitchen and scattered his house in a bid to show her displeasure.

According to reports, she also rained insults on Tony as she allegedly labelled him a cripple whom she she has been ''managing''.

Report has it that Christabel's sister has been calling Tony to beg him to forgive and forget her sister's 'madness'.

A prominent businessman in Borno state, Alhaji Bukar Bolori has died in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. According to reports,the business tycoon died yesterday morning in Saudia Arabia after a brief illness.. He passed away at the age of 92.

His corpse was pictured being conveyed into an ambulance ahead of his burial with family and friends present.

Meanwhile, the former deputy governor of Borno State, Alhaji Adamu Shettima Yuguda Dibal has condoled the family of Alhaji Bukar Bolori, Governor Kashim Shettima and Borno State over the departure of the late statesman and business mogul.

Dibal who described the deceased as as patriot, icon of integrity, man of peace and humanitarian actor - said that Borno and Nigeria as a whole has lost a great icon..

Some vigilante members were arrested today in Igbokuta, Imota Development Area, Ikorodu, Lagos after allegedly attacking and stabbing one man on his way home. According to reports, the security operatives were launched the attack on the victim over land issue in the area.

It was gathered that the same group of vigilante members were arrested some months ago for kidnapping and were released by the police after an investigation.

Eyewitnesses reveal that the vigilantes who stabbed their victim this afternoon - also abducted him and took him away to an undisclosed location. They were accosted by other security operatives after releasing gunshots.

A young man who lives in Lagos, Nigerian - has revealed how he killed a snake which was trying to gain entrance into his room through his window. The man narrated how his attention was called to the reptile by his uncle's wife - prompting him to use his cutlass to smash the head of the Boa constrictor and killed it.

After the programme yesterday, I went home weak and hungry... I didn't have the strength to go out and look for what to eat, so I engaged myself in other activities till it got dark... When I finally got something to eat, I couldn't eat cos my body was very hot...

So I decided to use mat to lay down a little outside close to my window. But suddenly I got discouraged from doing so, and another thought came in and said "why don't you take your bath and go eat, since its your body temperature that is hindering you from eating"...

I obeyed the voice and took my bath, and after eating I slept off. Not too long a voice started screaming out my name "come! come and see what is on your window" it was my uncle’s wife shouting... I jump out with a cutlass and behold this very snake...

I pointed touch light at it and it started looking for a way to escape. And I said to it " You can never escape!"... I made sure that I smashed the head of the snake until blood started flowing from it head... And yes! I killed it... Even though there was no bush anywhere around my window, I wondered how the snake was able to get that far...

I give glory to God who discouraged me from lying down outside at my window, I don't know what would have happened... Help Me Thank God oo!!!

Here are the remains of some Fulanis brutally killed by the mambilla militia along Mayo Ndaga axis in Sardauna LGA of Taraba state. Scores of villagers were reportedly killed following a fresh outbreak of ethnic violence some days ago on the Mambilla Plateau in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State.

According to Mustapha Gembu, the attack unprovoked attack were led by some mambilla militia leaders as he called for security agents to come to the aid of the people.

Pictured is Dogo Gide (right), the deputy who killed notorious armed bandit in Zamfara State‎, Buhari Tsoho aka Buharin Daji. . The cattle rustling kingpin, Daji was killed by Dogo Gide (his second in command) who is said to be assisting security agents in clearing all enclaves of cattle rustlers and gunmen on killing spree in Zamfara, Kaduna, Katsina and other places. .

Buhari was killed on Wednesday, in a mountainous forest of Nabango, Goro Dutse District in Birnin Gwari LGA. .

Before he met his waterloo, Buharin Daji had stormed the Fulani settlement of Katsinawa in Zamfara state and carted away cattle belonging to Dogo Gide’s father in-law. .

Since Gide Dogo is on the side of government, he called for truce both Buhari remained adamant. .

Finally, he agreed to meet for a truce at Nabango, where Gide opened fire on him and his top six commanders. Their decomposed bodies were taken to the Zamfara state Government House, Gusau on Friday.

According to reports, the brothel where 26 women and girls were rescued by security operatives on 16 December 2016 in South Africa, is going to be demolished following a successful forfeiture order granted by the North Gauteng High Court.

According to the South African Police Service, the Priority Crime Specialised Investigations (PCSI) unit of the Hawks in North West that specialises in asset and financial investigations made a submission to the Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU) to have the building on number 5 Viljoen Street in Pienaarsdorp be forfeited to the state.

PCSI had to gather evidence to prove that the property was used solely for criminal activities in contravention of the Prevention of the Organised Crime Act 121 of 1998.

The property was raided twice by the Hawks, first in 2016 when twenty six women and girls were rescued from the property and again in 2017 where 34 women were rescued. During the raids, two Nigerian nationals were arrested for human trafficking and drugs and money was seized.

The preparations for the demolition are underway, meanwhile the Hawks Provincial Head Major General Linda Mbana welcomed the forfeiture order and the news of the demolition of the property.

She further thanked everyone involved and encouraged the members of the community to report criminal activities.

A Nigerian police officer simply identified as Mr. Imomoh has passed away after being punched a soldier few days ago. The sad incident reportedly happened at a burial ceremony in Sapele area of Delta state.

According to reports, a group of soldiers were shooting in the air repeatedly at the burial event when the policeman who was in a mufti - met one of the soldiers and told them to stop shooting at the event because it's dangerous.

Not knowing that the man was a policeman, the soldier was allegedly angry and wondered what gave the man the impetus to talk to them like that. The soldier then allegedly punched the police officer in the chest.

It was gathered that, the policeman wanted to fight back but was restrained by others at the burial. Just as he was leaving the scene, he slumped and died on the spot. On seeing what had happened, all the soldiers who were at the event fled.

The police authorities are set to launch an investigation into the matter in order to apprehend the ''rogue'' soldiers.

There was panic after a woman gave birth to a strange baby at a hospital in Aba, Abia state. The incident which happened today reportedly shocked the hospital officials and those around following the ''strange'' birth. According to Cynthia Chioma, the woman survived the delivery and is said to be alive. The baby died after birth.

While some think this has to do with something spiritual, others have argued online that this is a medical condition.

A Facebook user Chyomsie Okorafor Gregory wrote; ''He is an anencephalic baby,this kind of birth defect is caused by lack of folic acid in the body of the woman. If a woman's body cuts short folic acid and she conceives, the lack of folic acid in her body will result to this where a part of the skull or the whole skull will be completely gone''.

''These babies grow like normal pregnancies but once the baby is born and detached from the mother the baby dies. Lots of us don't know if our body cuts short folic acid until the person must have taken in and will discover she is carrying an anencephalic baby maybe at 5months''.

''So its important that once a woman is ready to start trying out for a child or gets married or is having unprotected sex that can lead to pregnancy, she should start taking folic acid to prevent things like this''

A man got more than he bargained for after writing a post on Facebook opposing the imposition of candidate for 2019 general elections in Akwa Ibom state. According to information gathered online, the officer at Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission, Etiedu Ukpong, wrote a Facebook post against a Federal House of Representative member - warning him against imposing candidate ahead of the next year's general election.

Thugs allegedly loyal to the lawmaker tracked down and attacked the man for the post. He was beaten and dragged in public in a bid to humiliate him.

Etiedu Ukpong shared pictures of the assault and captioned them;

The Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare 11, summoned all Benin chiefs and native doctors in the kingdom for an emergency meeting with a view to tackling human trafficking, kidnapping and other security challenges in the state. This came as Edo State House of Assembly, yesterday, began consideration of a bill for a law to prohibit human trafficking and establish Edo State task force against trafficking in persons.

The revered monarch, had penultimate week expressed concerns over the activities of human traffickers in the state and called for concerted effort to fight the scourge.

The meeting was held today Friday, March 9, 2018. Officials of National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, were also invited.

The monarch said NAPTIP has informed the Palace of how the victims of human traffickers are subjected to oath taking, which makes it difficult for them to provide useful information to NAPTIP that could lead to the arrest of the perpetrators of human trafficking in the society.

The Oba of Benin noted that many of those trafficked never get to their destinations as they are subjected to slavery in Libya, while others died in the Mediterranean Sea, pointing out that many families have been grieving over the loss of their loved ones.

According to reports, the Oba of Benin, revoked all curses placed on trafficked persons by Native doctors in Benin kingdom. He reportedly advised victims to reveal who trafficked them abroad to relevant authorities....

His Royal Majesty said the meeting was convened to warn those behind this illegal acts of human trafficking to desist or face the wrath of the law and the ancestors of the land.

The Edo State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Dan Orbih, was yesterday quizzed for several hours by the Police over his allegation that the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration diverted rice sent to the Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, by the Nigerian Customs.

Chief Orbih while addressing journalists recently claimed the state government diverted over 4000 of the 6, 228 bags of rice meant for the IDP camp at Uhogua in Edo State asking the government must account for the missing rice.

Chief Orbih who arrived at the Edo State Police Headquarters at about 10.00am yesterday accompanied by large crowd of supporters, his lawyers and top PDP chieftains was being interrogated by the Deputy Commissioner of Police before the arrival of Mr. Johnson Kokumo, the State Commissioner of Police later.

It was learnt that Orbih made a statement and was questioned for several hours by investigative police officers.
