Congratulations to Dr. Zainab Ibrahim Sarkin Gobir Adiya, a member of the traditional ruling family of the Sokoto Caliphate - who has done the country proud in the United Kingdom. Dr. Zainab Adiya is the daughter of the influential business mogul Prince Ibrahim S G Adiya (the grandson of Late Sultan Muhammad Tambari). Dr. Adiya obtained her PhD from the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) on 10th July 2017 and have worked as a demonstrator and support invigilator in the same university.

During the course of her Ph.D., she has two Journal papers published in highly reputable international journals. She presently has 1 journal paper under review and 1 more to be submitted soon in addition to a number of conferences and seminars and her work was represented.

Dr. Adiya was the African representative at working international fair and member Nigerian Student Society Electoral Committee (2017/2018 election) all in the University of Leeds. She is a senior member of the America Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and a member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and the United Kingdom Carbon Capture and Storage Research Centre (UKCCS).

Her newest research project involves coupling sorption enhancement and chemical looping in conventional steam reforming process.

Congratulations to the Princess of the Caliphate, who is now joined by her family in wishing her God's guidance and blessings.

A Nigerian man with three lovely kids has shared his testimony after he was told by a doctor that his wife won't be able to conceive a child. The thankful man identified Ifeanyi Okeke, revealed that rather than worry over his wife's medical condition, he believed in God that something positive will eventually happen and it did. Read his story below;


BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU PRAY FOR BECAUSE GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS - What was my Prayer Point: God please takeaway these wealth and give me children, even a child give me whether male or female. Dated March 2008.

In March 2008 I had been married to my wife (my Blessing) for eight years without a child. Eight years is not eight days or eight weeks or eight months. I mean eight years, enough to graduate and bag a PhD and be called a Professor.

I was blessed with a flourishing banking career. About the most popular banker in town already an Assistant General Manager (in-waiting). Nothing was more frustrating to me as going home to my wife with the news of a new promotion, a new car for her or a new house I intend building because of the response which will give me: what is all these worth without a child together.

It was in this frustration that I went into my room on that fateful but equally blessed day, went naked, knelt down, raised my hands up to heaven and made the radical prayer request.

To put things in perspective, in October 1999 we were both serving (NYSC) (having been dating since 1997) when I proposed to her. March 2000 just one month out of NYSC we got married (paid her bride price). Yes we got married, TW and Church wedding were ceremonies that followed later. I got a job April 2000. On June 26, 2000 we got into a night bus together at Ido park, Lagos on a journey to Kano as I had completed three months training and was posted to Kano Main branch of the elsewhere Universal Trust Bank (UTB) as a Credit and Marketing Staff. We arrived Kano early morning June 27 2000 and moved into a one room she lived in as a CORPER which shared toilet, bathroom and kitchen with with another CORPER (Helen MO, tagged)

It was about October in 2004 that a renowned Consultant Gynecologist and Head of Gynecology & Obstetrician Department of Teaching Hospital in Nigeria after a laparoscopy procedure on my wife, had given his verdict to myself and wife that she will not be able to carry a child. In his opinion, even if she is able to conceive either naturally or assisted, her WOMB could not carry a baby. He further advised that I discuss with my wife to marry another lady if I want to have kids. Story for another day back to my answered prayer.

Yes God granted the two petitions I made in March 2008 but the second one came first "give me even a child". In January 2009 our first child, Angel oluebubechukwu (Miracle work of God) was conceived and was successfully carried to term and delivered September 2009. About the time of her delivery God was already in motion to grant the first "takeaway all my wealth" as the stock market crashed with all I had worked for. At this point I was a Deputy General Manager in a top bank. One year after different circumstance had led me to leave my job. Well I got another the next month at the same level in another top bank. Four months after God decided it will not only be a child but children so my wife conceived again, this time twins, CHIMZARAMEKPERE (My God has answered my prayer) and CHIMDERA (Once my God has written or ordained) carried to term and delivered November 2011. Two months before their delivery God completely answered the first prayer as in a circumstance beyond my control but by mutual consent I left my top banking job.

What would you say: YES GOD granted my prayers offered to him kneeling down naked with my hands raised to heaven.

A month after their delivery I couldn't afford to buy pampers. Three/Four months later I couldn't afford to take then to church for dedication. One year after I couldn't buy even a cake to mark their birthday.

What did I do: I ran back to God naked, knelt down with hands raised up to heaven. I pleaded with God and said: Yes I told you to take away my wealth and give me children or even a child but I didn't ask you to takeaway so much that I cannot afford to feed them. God said: my child I granted your request exactly as you asked. This was in 2012. Well I believe God has a reason for everything under the sun. We went through struggles through for two years. By late 2014 through the special intervention of the Mother of Perpetual Help (Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God) God looked back with a smile and started the restoration process. It's been three years of God's divine restoration project in our lives.

Yesterday when I took these shots of my kids the entire memory came back so I decided to share with you. These kids I will not exchange for all the wealth in the whole world.

Friends, please bless God with my family. But beware what you ask from God because he answers prayers.

When you are down and out inside the gutter, run to the Mother of Perpetual Help (The Blessed Virgin Mary) to intercede for you. She NEVER fails to get result from her son who NEVER says no to her Mother.

Lagos State government set to receive freed Kidnapped Six Igbonla Model College Boys from the Ondo state government at a joint Press Conference with Governor Akeredolu of Ondo State, his Deputy, Mr. Agbola Ajayi and Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni.

The six students who were kidnapped from Igbonla Model College in Epe some two months have been released alive to The Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu, Today, 28th July, 2016.

The kidnappers who insisted that they would only release the kidnapped Igbonla boys to Ondo state government, due to the personal intervention of Governor Akeredolu.

The six students rescued are, Agbaosi Judah, Jonah Peter, Philips Pelumi, Adebanjo George, Yusuf Faruq and Ramon Isiaka.

This is quite unfortunate. A young man identified as Hassan has lost his fingers after squabble with some Fulani guys on Friday (yesterday) in Matane, Mashegu Local Government of area of Niger State. According to Rariya News platform, a resident, Mr. Nura Alhassan Jigawa revealed that the problem started when the Fulanis came into the town to buy cigarettes and drinks in the community.

The victim who was probably in the area told them he doesn't like the smell of cigarettes as they argued over it.

This argument reportedly angered the guys who engaged in a fight with the victim as they used their weapons on him - cutting his fingers in the process.

The incident almost caused an unrest in the community as youths decided to retaliate the attack by the Fulanis but were persuaded and controlled by security operatives who arrived on time.

This is very hilarious. It was battle of the fittest for two big-sized ladies who decided to show their supremacy publicly in front of others. According to reports, the ladies engaged in the heated fight after an argument as they took the battle to the streets.

A video footage which was posted online - shows one of the ladies beating her colleague mercilessly and flawlessly as she put her on the ground within seconds. Passersby and residents who were present there did little to stop the fight as they watched and entertained themselves.

This young man was killed on Wednesday evening after being involved in a fatal accident with his motorcycle in Zaria, Kaduna state, according to reports. The unidentified man was rushed to the hospital after the accident where he reportedly gave up the ghost.

His photo has been shared online in a bid to contact his people as no one knows his family or relatives.

Anyone who knows anything about him should contact the appropriate authorities.

According to reports, the protesters who were led by House of Reps member, Kako Are of Accord Party - disclosed that they were agitating against the rigging by officials in the election. A young man has reportedly killed himself days after hinting about his death on Facebook. The guy identified as Mpanjilwa Mulwanda was on Tuesday found hanging dead on a tree. Friends jokingly encouraged him to kill himself after he hinted that he was going to die by hanging.

In one post he said that he was going to die that very day while in another he justified his death saying the ultimate sacrifice is sacrificing oneself for the rest of humanity.

Days earlier, Mpanjilwa who has been alleged to belong to a cult - posted a photo of himself and a hanging rope around his neck...

Few hours before, he updated his Facebook post to ‘Fin’

He was found hanged on a tree hours later with headsets still in his ears.

A Keke Napep driver was allegedly killed in cold blood by men of the Nigerian army yesterday, for reportedly causing an accident along Muna garage in Maiduguri, Borno state. According to reports, none of the soldiers who were involved in the accident sustained injuries as the Keke driver who caused the crash was killed.

Jude Iroh Junior, a young man was killed during the renewed war between the Vikings and Confraternity in Ugep, Yakurr LGA of Cross River State last month. The deceased was later identified as the nephew of the Special Assistant to President Buhari on Prosecution, Barrister Okoi Obono-Obla.

One of the cultist who allegedly shot the deceased and hacked him to death has been arrested while trying to withdraw money from Skye Bank in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital.

A social media influencer apparently can't contain her joy after acquiring a brand new Lexus Jeep for herself. Sharing the good news via her social media page few days ago, she revealed how she was afraid to buy a new car despite having the money as she drove her old car until the wheels literally fell off. Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Today I put on my big girl boots and went out and bought me a new car. I kept putting off replacing Dior (my 1999 Honda) for the longest and God said what are you afraid of? How many times does that car need to break down? How much money do you have to spend to keep her running?

My car was old, but I was so stubborn in #millionaireby30 mindset, I was only stressing myself out more for not having a reliable car. I was afraid that being an Entrepreneur I wouldn't be able to keep up with payments, I was afraid that what if the maintenance gets too much to handle, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to buy a home soon because I bought a car, but God shut all those fears DOWN.

He reminded me of how far He has taken me, and told me to continue to TRUST. It feels so good to be able to buy something that you've worked so hard for. I literally drove my old car until the wheels literally fell off and I'm just so thankful that I was blessed with this new beginning.

‎A man who got a woman pregnant and reportedly forgot following a quarrel they had years back - has reunited with family. According to human rights lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, the man and woman lost contact with each other after their break-up as both went their separate ways. The couple were reunited with their 2-year-child yesterday.

This man got this woman pregnant. They quarreled and broke up. The woman went on her own and had her baby. The man who also went his own way forgot he got somebody pregnant. They two lost contact and never met again.

Then a DPA member met the woman struggling to stay alive from hunger with her nearly two-year old child. The DPA member began to ask questions.

Today, Hon Joy Buz led DPA to this reunion. Father, mother and child were brought together. DPA will raise 20k to support the couple and help them to cement their union.

Death was averted yesterday in Akwa Ibom state as ABC Truck with registration number NWA-262 XA conveying bags of cement ran into a road divider and a taxi cab at Use Offot junction, Nwaniba Road, Uyo injuring the driver of the truck and other passengers’ of the truck.

A witness who was in the truck said the taxi driver tried to make a fast U-turn while the Truck driver was trying to use the same Use Offot junction.

The driver who ran away just after the accident for fear of being lynched did not see the taxi driver, so instead of taking the truck into the Use Offot market square, he controlled to the road divider.

The Federal Road Safety Officers who were on duty close to the scene left as soon as the accident occurred to another spot close Adiahaobong Secondary School.
