Executives of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, MC Oluomo, Koko, Talo has settled their rift following the crisis in Oshodi, Lagos which saw chieftain and politician Aro Rasaq Bello (Hamburger) gunned down by unknown gunmen in Shogunle Oshodi during a political rally in the area last month.

The leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as Mc Oluomo had earlier debunked rumours that he was behind the gruesome murder of another member of the union, Rasaq Bello, popularly called Hamburger.

A able-bodied man was fully disgraced after he stole a car battery. The owner of the car, Femi woke up this morning and decided to kick start his car before he discovered the battery had been stolen. After much investigation, the thief was revealed and apprehended - as residents publicly humiliated him with the stolen property. See photos below;

Rain Storm washed away another Highway bridge linking Southwest to Northern Nigeria at Gidan Mai in Mokwa LGA, Niger State. This is just coming after a heavy rain fall washed away the rail line and highway linking the Southwest with Northern Nigeria through Tatabu in Mokwa LGA, Niger State yesterday.

The Commissioner of Information Hon. Jonathan T Vatsa, Commissioner for Works Hon Abdulmalik Chehe and the FRSC officials of Mokwa Command visited the site to see the extent of damage and take quick action.

The Commissioner of Information Hon. Jonathan T Vatsa, declared state of emergency on all federal roads passing through Niger State, especially the bridges. He appealed to people plying these routes to drive with caution.

The crisis rocking Amai and Umuebu communities in Ndokwa West is a Local Government Area of Delta State - has taken another shape following the killing of a young man whose hand and head were cut off over land dispute. The crisis which has been lingering for years now - has left many dead and others injured with the government not doing enough to end it.

Some indigenes of Odo Ape have said they no longer want want Senator Dino Melaye as their representative. They have begun the process of trying to recall the federal lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial zone. See photos of the process.

Some of them claimed the lawmaker was not performing and that they were tired of “continuous embarrassment” he was causing them.

Meanwhile, senator Dino Melaye, has reacted by accusing the State Governor, Yahaya Bello of being behind the whole thing. He wrote on his Facebook page.

"Yahaya Bello: on recall of Dino Melaye,he is shooting the Moon and boxing the air. Spending over one billion naira tax payers money on an unproductive venture when salaries and pensions have not been paid is wicked. I will continue to defend the poor and defenseless masses of kogi state. If I die I die. We must rescue the state. - Sen Dino Melaye"

Photos of a Ugandan lady identified as Lady Natasha are trending online after she was by a speeding car in China yesterday night. According to reports, the accident which occurred near Nanhai city near Guangzhouwounded her seriously as she was rushed to the hospital.

She was pronounced dead this morning. May her soul rest in peace.

Former governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomhole showcased his dancing skills with his wife Iara at an event organised to celebrate the victory of governor Godwin Obaseki at the Court of Appeal earlier today.

The Court of Appeal, sitting in Benin on Friday upheld the election of Edo governor, Godwin Obaseki, of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The court dismissed the petition filed by Osagie Ize-Iyamu, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as lacking in merit.

A Nigerian man identified as Adeyemo Ifedayo Oladele a.k.a Olowo Dubai - has left his loved ones in sorrow following his tragic demise. According to his friend, Rasheed Olalekan, 'Olowo Dubai' was assassinated by gangsters few days ago in Nigeria after he was abducted with his wife and children whom were later released. May his soul rest in peace.

A man took out his frustration on a policeman in public for allegedly trying to victimize him. In a viral video shared online, the man can be seen holding the officer by his shirt and trying to bring him down in front of shocked passersby.

The police officer's colleagues who were there standing with their guns - did little to salvage the situation after being surrounded by residents of the area. They had to plead with the man for him to leave their colleague.

There is confusion in Maiduguri as Boko Haram militants reportedly infiltrate city, gunshots heard in every part of the city. The gunmen reportedly attacked Jiddari Polo community in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, according to multiple online reports. Residents who are scared of the unknown - have already started to flee the area with their family for their own safety.
