It depends on the kind of shopping.
If shopping for items in the local market, I can do a free dress or any casual clothes I use at home. But if im going shopping at the supermarket/mall, I'll do a pant and t-shirt or blouse. Or my jean.

Its has to be causal at the end of the day as any corporate outfit is a no no.

Added the vegetables after letting the melon Cook properly for 15 mins.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll rate this soup 9 and half!
The taste was great and the efirin did the magic. This is actually my first time of using efirin to make melon soup and it did make a huge difference.

I really enjoyed this one.

I decided to make soup today after weeks of eating out to my dissatisfaction.

After much thoughts on what to cook I settled for Tomato Melon soup. Its been long I made melon soup and because I wanted something different from the regular taste, I did a tweak to it by using tomato paste and efirin leaves more so as I didn't use meat in this recipe.

Here are the main ingredients.

First Pics is a combo of ugu and efirin leaves ( scent leaves),
Smoked Titus and akpo fish.
Then grinded crayfish and black pepper.

Pics 1 frying the mixture of Melon and tomato paste while adding goat meat seasoning since I didn't use meat.

Pics2 Adding the crayfish and black pepper to the frying melon.

Pics 4 Added the smoked fish to the frying menlon so it can release its taste into the soup.


Don't mind pics quality. Background light was messing with the whole process

Asides from the derogatory words, which unfortunately are beyond your control, I don't see any issues with people refusing to help you or why anyone must help you because you helped others.

That entitlement mentality should be directed to the people you helped, not strangers.

I don't remember dragging your confused self into my post. You have a choice not to open the post if it bothers you so much that I'm littering the whole place with my threads and the last time I checked, you're not a mod neither are you the owner of this forum. I'm still shocked at the backlash I got in my previous threads after sharing my predicament and soliciting for help from anyone who can and is willing to. I'm seriously shocked to say the least.

The reason i didn't have the amount I needed for an apartment at the time I needed it was because I was busy rendering financial help here and there without looking back. If anyone complains that they don't have this or that, I'll drop. If another cries for something, I'll drop without even being asked. I didn't know I was going to find myself in this kind of impromptu situation that would require every penny I had given out helping but I'm glad I helped those in need because it was fufilling for me at the time.

Though i'm not complaining or counting all i did but what baffles me is how and why when I asked for help, everyone turned me into a caricature and tagged me all sorts of unprintable names... mennn... I would never do that to anyone, not even the needy; God knows.

I'm not really moved by the derogatory comments majority spewed in those threads per se but I fear for what it can later turn me into. Like making me tough and tightfisted that I'll now become insensitive and find it difficult to render help. Like seriously, this is how people become hardened in life.

I've learnt a huge lesson.

Yes, I'm grateful to God in this phase I find myself cos though the experience has been a bitter and draining one, it has also helped me become stronger and more resilient in handling life's challenges and summounting them.

It has also made me realize how hard hearted and insensitive people can be to you in your lowest moments. Sad but true.
This has been my reality ever since I found myself in this phase of life which i believe will soon pass by the grace of God.

I know its difficult for human beings to help these days even when they have it. My experience on nairaland has taught me that and I know humanity has lost the feeling of compassion but God will surely make a way if you keep your body and hope in him.

God always makes a way for the needy except you're not serving him genuinely.
