Religion / Re: The Positive Ministry Of The Holy Spirit - Andrew Wommack by Charisplus(f): 2:30pm On Jan 25, 2019
jiggaz:
Most people have been led to believe that self-doubt, self-condemnation, feelings of unworthiness, and conviction for individual sins are the work of the Holy Spirit. But it’s just not true!

Those of you who are familiar with this ministry know that I spend a great deal of time teaching on the unconditional love and grace of God. That is what changed my life.
But I can tell by the questions and comments I get that many people still don’t get it.

Because of that, years ago I asked the Lord to give me a way of expressing His grace that people can’t miss. That is when He gave me one of the most important revelations I have ever had about the positive ministry of the Holy Spirit. Not everyone likes this, but they understand what I’m saying.

The devil’s favorite tool, religion, has done a great job of convincing the body of Christ that the Holy Spirit is the source of negative feelings. He has believers convinced it’s the Holy Spirit showing them they are unworthy and have to “clean up their acts” if they ever want to receive from the Lord.

The truth is, it’s your heart or, more specifically, your conscience that is condemning you, not God. That is not the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is never the source of any of your guilt or condemnation. He is not the One that makes you feel bad when you sin.

Your conscience is the part of you that condemns you. And if you are feeling unworthy it’s almost impossible to receive from God.

First John 3:19-21 says,

“And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.”

This verse makes it very clear: Your heart can condemn you even though God is not. What a radical truth, which comes as a complete shock to most Christians. We’ve just assumed that it is always the Holy Spirit who is condemning us.

Then John said in verse 21,

“Beloved if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.”

If you can reach the point where your conscience is not condemning you, judging you, and causing you to feel unworthy to receive, then you will have confidence toward God, which has great recompense of reward (Heb. 10:35).

Most Christians never reach that place. Most know that God can answer their prayer; they just don’t have the confidence that He will, because they feel unworthy. They aren’t willing to stand in faith, because feelings of guilt and unworthiness, which they believe are coming from the Holy Spirit, shipwreck their faith.

“Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck” (1 Tim. 1:19).

Our conscience is not something we can or should ignore; it can be trained for our benefit, but it is not the Holy Spirit. The best way to deal with the conscience is to, as much as possible, not give it any occasion against us. It can’t condemn you if you aren’t giving it a reason. However, no one lives a perfect life and ultimately you’ve got to purge your conscience from dead works.

Hebrews 9:14 says,

“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

In Hebrews 10:22, the Bible says,

“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience.”

And in Hebrews 4:16, we read,

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

The ministry of Holy Spirit is just the opposite of what many Christians think. In John 14:16 read how Jesus describes the Holy Spirit:

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.”

Notice that Jesus calls the Holy Spirit the “Comforter,” not the afflicter. It also says that He will send “another” Comforter. “Another” means one of the same caliber, the same kind. Jesus was and still is a comforter; He didn’t condemn people during His earthly ministry.

John 3:17-19 reads,

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deed were evil.”

John 14:26 says,

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name…”

In John 15:26, Jesus said,

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father…”

And in John 16:7, Jesus continues to say about the Holy Spirit,

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”

There can be no doubt that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is not one of condemnation; it’s one of comfort. Jesus said that it was expedient for you that He go away and the Comforter comes. The word “expedient” means “to your advantage.” Jesus is saying that it’s better to have the Holy Spirit ministering to you than it is to have Him present in His physical body. What a statement!

I know someone is thinking, What about John 16:8:

“And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”

Well, first of all, there is a huge difference between conviction and condemnation, but let’s set that aside for now. Look at the next verse. Jesus knew people would impute things to the Holy Spirit that He wasn’t doing. So, Jesus explained very clearly just which sin the Holy Spirit would convict us of. It is the singular sin of not believing on Jesus.

John 16:9 says,

“Of sin, because they believe not on me.”

The Holy Spirit doesn’t convict us of lying, stealing, adultery, murder, etc; He convicts us that we aren’t trusting in Jesus. That’s the root of every sin.

Technically, people don’t go to hell for their individual sins; Jesus has already forgiven all of them (1 John 2:2). People go the hell for the single sin of not making Jesus their personal Savior, the complete and only payment for their sin.

Even after receiving salvation, it’s not our actions (sins) that are the problem but the heart attitude of not trusting Jesus. That is the root of all sin. The reason people do dope and alcohol is because they are turning to something other than Jesus to dull the hurt inside.

When we lie, it’s because we don’t trust Jesus and feel we have to manipulate others. That’s what all sin comes down to: not trusting Jesus. That’s what the Holy Spirit convicts us about.

Most Christians have not truly understood this positive ministry of the Holy Spirit. We have made Him the source of our feelings of guilt, condemnation, and unworthiness. Because of that, we haven’t really let Him do His job, and we are missing the benefits and power of a relationship with Him.

The Holy Spirit should be your best friend. He was sent here to encourage you and constantly assure you of God’s love. He is the most important and most powerful person in your life. If you haven’t been thinking correctly about the Holy Spirit, it’s time to change your thinking.

You will never be able to relate to God correctly until you understand this positive ministry of the Holy Spirit. My new and expanded series, The Positive Ministry of the Holy Spirit, will help you make this change in your thinking. The Holy Spirit is the great Comforter, but His positive ministry goes far beyond that. If you want power in your life, you’ll have to know and understand what I teach in this series.

Religion / Re: Apostle Paul's Brutal Message To Galatian Christians On The Gospel Of Grace by Charisplus(f): 2:08pm On Jan 19, 2019
jiggaz:
The book of Romans is Paul’s masterpiece on the study of grace, but the book of Galatians is his strongest teaching on the subject. Paul takes off the gloves and gets brutal in his teaching about the grace of God. I believe that a study on the grace of God from the book of Galatians combined with the teaching from Romans could be a one-two punch that knocks out condemnation in your life. Praise the Lord!

Paul wasted no time making his point in his letter to the Galatian Christians. In chapter 1, verse 6, Paul said, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel.” Paul used the terms “Gospel” and “grace” interchangeably. The heart of the Gospel is grace. Any deviation from that is a perversion of the Gospel.

The Galatian Christians hadn’t renounced Jesus as being their Messiah, but legalistic Jews had convinced them that they couldn’t be right with God by believing in only what Jesus had done. They were being told they also had to keep the Old Testament Law in order for God to accept them. The same lie is being propagated today, except now it’s said we have to be holy. We have to be holy, or the Lord won’t accept us or answer our prayers, etc. That’s not the Gospel.

In Paul’s day, the issue was circumcision. Today, the same legalistic message is being preached using things like prayer, Bible study, church attendance, and other actions of holiness as necessary actions for God to love and accept us. Faith in what Christ did for us is enough. It is not what Jesus did for us plus our actions of holiness. Jesus plus anything equals nothing. Jesus plus nothing equals everything.

No one argues that we shouldn’t pray, study the Word, go to church, etc., but any time it’s proclaimed that God is angry with us if we fail to do these things, it’s not the true Gospel. That type of teaching puts the burden of salvation on us and opens us to the condemnation of the devil. This is what Paul called a perversion of the Gospel in Galatians 1:7. Then in verse 8, Paul made one of the strongest statements he ever made,

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

The Galatians must’ve been shocked! How could Paul say such a thing? He must not have meant what it looks like he meant. Therefore, just in case anyone missed it the first time, Paul repeats his radical statement:

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed” (verse 9).

In our politically correct world today, you don’t hear many absolute statements like these. How could anyone be so sure of themselves? Paul goes on to explain in the rest of the first chapter that he didn’t get his revelation of the Gospel from any man but directly from God. That’s why he was so adamant. There was no room for compromise in the Gospel.

In chapter 3, Paul calls the Galatians foolish for leaving the grace of Christ and going back to relating to God based on their performance. He also said they had been bewitched (Gal. 3:1). He reminds them how they had originally put faith in Christ alone and received all that God had for them through faith. Why had they gone back into legalism? That’s a good question.

Paul then shows them the real purpose of the Law. It wasn’t to help us live a holier life; it was to point out our sin to us and bring condemnation so we would never come into the deception that we could relate to God based on our own performance. Amazingly, the average Christian has totally missed this fact and, instead, embraces the Law as a good thing. The Law would be good if we could keep it, but Paul reveals that a failure to do the tiniest detail of the Law makes us guilty of all of it. Instead of receiving the blessing for obedience, one small failure brings the curse instead. The only way out of the curse is through faith in Christ alone. Christ bore our curse (Gal. 3:13).

Paul begins to summarize in chapter 5. He starts by saying, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” The yoke of bondage he is speaking of is the Law. He’s saying don’t go back to trying to please God by adhering to rules and regulations. The thing that pleases God is faith (Heb. 11:6).

Paul says in verse 2, “Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.” What a radical statement! That’s saying that if our trust is in something that we do to make us accepted with God, then what Christ has done for us will profit us nothing. This is exactly what is happening in the lives of many people. They know about Christ and believe that He purchased their forgiveness of sins, but they think they have to obtain that forgiveness through some merit of their own. That voids what Christ has done for them. They get what they deserve instead of what Christ did for them. What a shame! They have fallen from grace back into trusting in themselves.

Does all this grace mean we can just live in sin? It means that God loves us the same even if we live in sin, but Paul made it clear in Galatians 5:13 that holy living is still the right way to live: “For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.” Grace doesn’t cause people to live in sin; it frees them from the paralyzing effects of guilt and condemnation so that they can live holier accidentally now than they ever did on purpose before.
What happens if a Christian does take God’s grace for granted and lives in sin? Paul addressed that in verse 15:

“But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.”

He is saying that there are still consequences to sin, but those consequences don’t come from God. Living in sin opens the door to the devil, and he will eat your lunch and pop the bag. We don’t want that.

As much as possible, we live holy, but we never do so in order to earn anything from God. That all comes by grace. When we do sin, we don’t come under condemnation about it and let the devil separate us from the love of God. We simply repent, which means we turn around and head in the right direction again, all the while enjoying the unbroken love of God.

I have a six-part album that teaches verse by verse through the book of Galatians. It’s a powerful teaching. There are so many more Gospel nuggets in the book of Galatians than what I’ve been able to expound here. There is also a 69-page booklet in the slip cover of this album that has 470 footnotes that I’ve written as well as hundreds of references and the actual King James Version text of Galatians. It’s a powerful resource tool for getting the revelation of God’s grace.

I encourage you to get this Galatians album and book, and if you haven’t yet ordered the Romans materials, please do so today. I believe these are some of the most important resources we have ever offered. They could literally change your life.

The true Gospel....the grace of God that loved and sought us....we put faith in all He has done....all of Him...He did it all.... none of us, we cannot contribute to our salvation. It's either He did it all and we accept what He has done or we do it by ourselves....and we can't. Rest in what He has done and accept it. Amen!

Sin is no longer the issue with God. I know the foregoing statement will upset a lot of people but that is the truth. If we had to be completely "sinless" to "make heaven" then I doubt if anyone on this earth will qualify. At some point sin was a major issue but not anymore because of what Jesus has done. Sin was an issue under the law but God used it to show man that trying to obey laws was impossible. Not one person was able to keep the law and therefore live above sin. Only Jesus was able to keep the whole law and having done that, He established a new law. The law of faith. You are saved by faith. You are also kept by faith. You put faith in all Jesus has done for us including making us righteous. Trust in the gift of righteousness you have received and see the power of sin lose its strength over you. Focusing on trying to avoid sinning makes you occupied with it and you find yourself struggling with it and you keep wondering why you cannot overcome sin. Whatever you give your attention is what plays out in your life. Instead, focus on the One who has become and given you that gift of rightousness and find yourself living "accidentally holier" than you would if you were preoccupied trying to observe rules. Shalom!

Thanks for sharing this my brother. Children of God need to understand this truth that God does not condemn us just as Jesus did not condemn the woman caught in adultery. Receiving this gift that God gives is the power that helps to overcome sin. Condemnation leads to a guilty conscience that keeps one in that vicious cycle of defeat and bondage to sin. We have been given the gift of righteousness which empowers us to live above sin. Hallelujah!

In response to the question on what kind of pictures I posted, they are views of nature - beaches, skyline, sunset, sunrise etc.

I created the photobook by posting the pictures on MS Word, a picture per page, though I noticed when I previewed that the pages seemed to flow together. I have gone back to review so it will be republished to be available in a few hours.

@CosmicJames - What secret are you referring to for bypassing copyright on pictures from the internet? Why don't you share it here? Don't hoard information! wink Be like the OP who has graciously shared this useful information with everyone!

For those still finding it difficult to accomplish this task, I will advice you go back to the first page on this thread and read and implement carefully. Post questions on any areas of confusion and the answers will be provided.

@WalkerMichael - Please I am not bro but sis! grin

There have been a lot of questions here about copyright issues with pictures from the internet. Why do you want to go that route? Why don't you use your phone to take original photos as the OP advised?

Yesterday I was able to follow the instructions provided here and did the necessary registrations - payoneer, kbp and created a photo book with 50 pictures which was approved and published within a few hours. I received a mail before 10 pm yesterday congratulating me that my book was now live and available in the Kindle store. I used photos I already had. I hardly did any editing!

If you have any questions about the process I am willing to provide some directions based on my experience. smiley

We can never earn or work for our salvation! Salvation is already completed with the death of Jesus on the Cross! It is a done deal! Nothing you do or don't do can add to it! Trusting in your efforts and works for salvation is denying that Jesus' death was enough!
Religion / Re: End-time Bible Teaching: Awareness Of SIN by Charisplus(f): 10:34am On Feb 15, 2016
Awesome! O that the truth of this message will register in the hearts of all that will read it! I pray as the Apostle Paul prayed in Ephesians 1 that the eyes of our understanding will be enlightened to see the hope of our calling and our inheritance as saints!
All these messages about telling people to avoid sin inorder to make the rapture is so distracting! The result has been that rather than draw people to the Lord it scares them away! As the book of Jeremiah says, in those days He will make a new covenant in which He will put His laws in our hearts so we will know the law without anyone telling us from the youngest to the oldest!(we are in that era) This does not imply that we should not be corrected when we err.
Someone asked a question in one of the posts above which I will also ask, are we expected to keep all those sins listed in the first post to ensure we "remain saved and rapturable"? Is anybody claiming to have kept all those laws? Someone else also asked if we are also careful in observing all the other Mosaic laws like keeping the Sabbath, eating of animals, crops, clothing, body discharges etc?
If we admit we have not been able to observe or keep all these laws without fail, then you have to admit it is impossible. A fact which the Bible clearly states and which is the reason for Jesus to come and die. Remember if you fail in one you are guilty of all!
Keeping and observing of laws cannot and will never save. If it could there would not have been any need for Jesus to come! Believing in the finished work of Jesus on the Cross is what saves and keeps you. You are saved not by what you do but by what Jesus has already done on your behalf which is imputed to you! All your good deeds could not save you so how come now you are saved by believing you think your good conduct will keep you saved? The grace of God that saved you is able to keep you till the end. Jesus said all that the Father has given Him, He will not lose any! Accept the gift of righteousness which was also imputed to you! He became sin who knew no sin that we can be the righteousness of God in Him! Why is it so difficult to receive this gift of righteousness? Receiving this gift is the key to living the life that please God! The Holy Spirit has been given to us to help us. It is God who works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure! Let us stop being sin-conscious! Let us be Christ conscious, Cross-conscious, righteousness-conscious! This is the way to live above sin!
Religion / Re: Does Grace Really Gives Us The License To Sin? by Charisplus(f): 7:27pm On Feb 09, 2016
Grace
promisechuks:

It does not give one licence to sin but licence to live a more HOLY, GUILTLESS, RIGHTEOUS LIFE.
The problem with many believers is that they are too focus in HUMANITY rather than DIVINITY.
No one is perfect, righteous or holy in HUMANITY(even in your holiest form of humanity) that's why the bible says; that our righteousness is like filthy rags before God.
But by DIVINITY we are holy as the lord, HOLY NATION, ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, CHOSEN ONES and incorruptible. As jesus is, so we are.
To get informed the more, read my below comments.
Grace does not give licence to sin! Man does not need a licence to sin! As a human being you are prone to fail but we focus on He who has made us righteous. The Bible says "He was made to be sin who knew no sin so that we can be made the righteousness of God in Christ". Our righteousness is of Him. All our efforts, works, keeping of laws avail nothing! Understanding the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ is what gives one the power to live above sin, the knowledge that you have been declared righteous frees you from the guilt and condemnation that so often binds people and keeps them ever sin-conscious with the result that they remain in that never ending cycle. Be Jesus conscious! Be Grace conscious! Be Cross conscious! As you focus on His abundant Grace, the power of sin, bad-habits, addictions get broken!

I will not comment on your statement about being a babe in Christ.
So you believe as Christians we should spend all our time talking about what the kingdom of darkness is doing rather than on the power of God and how He has defeated the devil on our behalf? I have not in anyway implied that we should be ignorant of the devices of the enemy, far from it. It is because we are aware of this fact that we stand and exercise our authority in Christ whenever the devil shows up. We do not expend energy talking about it. I am telling you what is real in my life - I recognize who I am in Christ and I let the devil know it too. Yes, I sleep well at night because I know the devil knows not to dare come near my dwelling. I go about my life knowing the Lord is on my side and therefore I will not fear. When I move about I know the Lord will give His angels charge over me to bear me in their hands so I will not dash my foot against a stone. I know He watches my coming and going from this time forth and even forever! Sure, the devil shows up once in a while but it does not bother me, I just tell him where to go. This is my testimony about the Word of God, the power of the Gospel and how this makes me an overcomer in life! I encourage you to try it!
Why are you using Samson as an example? You are a born again Christian but Samson was not! The power and authority you have were not available for Samson!
Please let us follow the path of the Apostles. Paul in his messages never promoted this type of messages - his messages were all about Jesus and the power of His resurrection and our inheritance as saints!
Religion / Re: Is Eternal Security Biblical? by Charisplus(f): 1:55pm On Feb 03, 2016
Your points are noted. I have a few things to say though.
I think there is a misunderstanding of the Biblical meaning of holiness. Sportsmaster provided a very good explanation but I think you have not considered it.
What is your understanding of working out that which God by His Holy Spirit works in us?
Are you implying that only Stephen and some people from church history were "sinless"? what happens to the rest of us who still fall short in one way or another? What is our hope then?
The book of Revelations you keep quoting from is talking about churches, true. What exactly does it mean by "not defiling garments", "found their works not to be perfect before God"? Are you sure you got the interpretation right?
Do you imply that everyone who gets born again does not commit sin afterwards? You mentioned continue in sin and slide back into worldliness , I want to ask to what degree should one sin to be classifies as continuing in sin? If he tells a lie today but does not tomorrow and again in 3 days he tells another small lie, he is continuing in sin? Who is in custody of the gauge for measuring sins that qualify as little sins that can be overlooked and those that tip the scales to qualify as continuing in sin?
If sin was still an issue there was no point for Jesus to come and die. All it will have required was for us to ensure we keep all the laws of Moses. Guess what? Jesus came to fulfill the law. He actually made the Jews realize it was impossible to keep. He said if you hate your brother in your heart you are guilty of murder!
The problem I have with people who are always so careful to avoid sin end up sinning more! I have been there! You know why? When you focus so much on it you find yourself falling into it more. Take your eyes away from self-preoccupation with sin and focus on the love of God for you that made Him send His Son to die for you then watch how all those sins will lose their power over your life!
Focusing on the laws of dos and don'ts bring you under the judgement of the law and I tell you that is a dangerous place to be! Do you think you can even keep just 1% of the law? Sins are both commission and omission! We are all familiar with sins of commission, what about sins of omission. So the Bible says to love your wife as Christ loves the church - can you do that? This is just one of them.
Finally I want to share an experience that made me realize there was a problem with this thinking of Christians losing their salvation and how it robs us of our confidence in Christ and the sacrifice at the cross. We organised a programme some years ago in one of the big churches where I was a Minister. We (the Ministers) were supposed to sing during the programme and we chose a song titled "Will you be there?". As we did the final rehearsal before the presentation, some of the Ministers began to weep because they suddenly realized they may not be there in heaven. I got troubled by this at the time but we finally presented to the congregation. The guest Preacher then began her message making reference to the song at the end to ask people to receive Jesus as Lord. The reason for my worry is that if Ministers aren't sure of their salvation, what business do we have spreading the message to others? How can you tell someone to come and have what you have when you have doubts if you have it or not?
Children of God, I ask that you ask your Father in heaven to open your eyes to see the truth in His Word!

There are so many distractions in the Church. As someone asked on this post " how will this "testimony" make me a better Christian?
We have been asked to go and make disciples teaching the world about Jesus. The Bible contains the whole counsel of God and these so called "testimonies" and stories promote fear and confusion. The devil has succeeded in keeping us busy propagating his messages about what exists in the kingdom of darkness and activities of the wicked rather than spending time telling people about the goodness of God and what is the extent of our inheritance in Christ Jesus and power that exists in us, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. Eph 1:15-23. The Bible makes it clear that the devil was defeated at the cross and that victory over him has been imputed to us as Christians. We are more than conquerors through Him that loved us and gave His life for us. The devil is under your feet as a believer - we are to put on the whole armor of God and stand! How can you a blood-bought child of God believe you are in bondage to the devil? Ignorance of your identity in Christ is what binds you! The devil only uses tricks, he has no power whatsoever but Christians have been empowering him with stories that cause fear, arrogating all manner of authority to him! Child of God, take your rightful place as a child of God who is seated in heavenly places with Christ and see the devil flee from you! He only preys on the fearful and ignorant!

I totally agree with all that Sportsmaster has posted on this topic. I have some comments/questions for you based on your arguments:
1. As has been pointed out, holiness and righteousness are positional not based on conduct. You keep stating that we can only be saved if we remain "holy" to the end. I have a problem with that because I do not think there is any person who is totally "holy". Or is there? If not, are there degrees to the level of holiness we must attain to qualify to make heaven? What kinds of sins are permissible or allowable? Are we agreed that everyone falls into sins? What is the difference then? Is it possible to totally eliminate sin from one's life? How can I be sure I will "make heaven" when I still fall into occasional sins?
I struggled with all these questions even after being a Christian for decades. I was unsure of my salvation despite all my efforts to live "holy"(and I was really "holy", very careful in my conduct, speech, always examining myself). It robbed me of my peace since I knew I could never measure up, there was always something lacking. Thank God I discovered the truth! My salvation is not dependent on me, it is all about Jesus and what He did for me at the cross! He has paid for my sins completely! He offered the perfect sacrifice on the cross! Sin is no longer an issue with God! People will only not make heaven if they reject Jesus! That is the Gospel! The too good to be true Goodnews! God initiated the whole transaction and executed it Himself! All you need to do is believe! Living a life of "holiness" is a result of trusting in the power of the cross to save and transform! Rather than expend energy seeking to live "holy" keep your eyes on your lovely Saviour! As you continue to focus on Him and on His love for you and all He has done for you, you effortlessly begin to live a life that glorifies Him! You don't need to struggle to stop sinning, the transformation happens supernaturally! That is the Gospel the world needs to hear not telling them to stop sinning! If an unbeliever stops sinning will that take him to heaven? That is not the Gospel!!

As 5solas pointed out the message of "once saved always saved" was the one preached by the Reformers. The question now is "what was the cause of the Reformation by Martin Luther? If we have a good understanding of that it will help us on this issue.
The problem often times is that many of us do not even understand what really happened at the new birth in Christ. It is such a profound spiritual experience. The Bible says we are sealed with the Holy Spirit until the final redemption of the body. I often wonder at those who say after one is saved and commits any sins he ceases to be saved. The Bible says you are saved by grace through faith and that not of yourself, it is the gift of God. The gift of God that is what salvation is. So if you lose salvation over every sin committed then God takes back His gift and gives it back over and over as it is believed by some that when you commit sin you lose salvation but get it back after you confess/ do restitution/penance etc. There is no where in the Bible where this back and forth motion of being saved and losing it is found. If salvation was dependent on whether we commit sin or not and keeping laws/rules, then what was the point of Jesus coming to die? There were enough laws under the Old covenant yet after over a thousand years no man was found able to fully keep that law.
If anyone be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away and all things have become new. If someone who is in Christ cannot be sure he is saved then what is the point of Christianity? Every other religion teaches keeping of laws/rules/doing good deeds to obtain "salvation" and even then you are not very sure you can make it. Christianity is the only "religion" that gives that assurance and the reason is because it is not dependent on you or what you do but on the finished work of Jesus on the Cross. It is either you accept that Jesus' work(He died for your sins - present, past and future sins) on the Cross is enough or He has to come to die again or we need another sacrifice for sins!
