I must admit that your husband is an abysmal failure, 8 years experience in sales and marketing gosh. Tell him to take his lazy ass of the house and start thinking like a man... |
Behind this wrong move, there is a greater motive. Should be deciphered very soon. Why returning people who were voted out into the house, makes absolutely no sense... |
January 2011, A young vibrant ,man I was, An unusually brilliant chap according to many. I was hired as a supervisor in a top multinational coy. The danish MD saw me as his little messiah. see me nah, hungry boy that grew up on the streets of PH. salary na better 6 digits, me sef never reach 26 years that time. One morning, I was cooling off in traffic somewhere in VI. Then suddenly my phone rang, it was coys HR. I have been realigned to go and work in Calabar. Brothers na so waka carry me enter cali, I carried out my task impeccably well and on the day i was supposed to depart, i received my promotion letter via email as new area manager. Na so God dey sha. Then from no where, the envy started running in torrents, whispers of dissenting voices slowly emanated. I entered into too many battle of wits and started writing for the removal of some folks, some were sacked, removed or realigned. In-fact, I was the most dreaded employee. Like they said, nothing lasts forever After about 5 years, It was time for my danish boss to retire, he did and relocated almost immidiately. One of my line managers, i disrespected a lot, was made a director, see gobe. my downfall has just begun. Everyday caution, query, suspension over trivial things. I knew my time would be certainly up someday, It was just a matter of when and how. I seeked numerous advice, even lobbied for a demotion So i can be away from the limelight, to enable me restrategise. all to no avail. One afternoon, I got a tip off that a senior colleague was visiting me, I smiled, ,finally my time has come, i dusted up my cabinet in preparation, And as I envisaged, it was my termination of appointment letter. As is slowly handed over all company's belongings. All that i did in the past, slowly played out before my eyes. They say men dont cry, my team erupted into a sober mood, tears rained. while to some, it calls for some bottle of beer. i wept, honestly i wept. Lesson Learnt i,choose when the time is right to be in the spotlight: sometimes its good, you hide under the cloak of someone else(a superior) he takes the heat/bashing while you learn. your weakness can easily be preyed upon if you find yourself in some positions. ii, Do not fight too many battles, You can never win all . (in my wildest dreams i never thought one of those guys will become a director) iii, Be humble-not timid, also pray to whatever God you worship. iv, Finally in your deeds with all men and God be fair and just. Early 2018, i was informed that those two guys who initiated my sack have been advised to resign, my response was, I refuse to rejoice over whatever puts a man to his kneels. life they say is a journey, what if i have the wealth of experience i have now, you cannever tell sha, the roads your destiny presents you with. Meanwhile OP now has two kids and he is doing really great. |
Hear me out, That place is simply poo, obviously useless. please do not humiliate yourself. Remain unemployed... |
That's prolly the worst thing to do as a graduate, it will most definitely erode you of your self worth. Trust me on this. Have been working in a bank close to a decade now.. |
igwemesh:firstly congratulations as you gbadunly declined the offer, There is a famous saying that when you hire baboons to work for you, you will get the result of hiring a baboon. The issues with salary variations, to an extent, depends on your bargaining power(state of mind). Since you were already gainfully employed, you had the presence of mind to broker a more favorable deal for yourself, some folks dont have this priviledge remember and will accept willingly any offer. how can someone work 7am-10pm. Holy jesus! I like it when people like you stand up and demand things be done rightly. Nonetheless goodluck in your endeavour and may God smile upon you always. |
YOUNGrapha:Salutamos, |
These guys are SVCS, the Norsemen klub are for prominent, good looking, hard working niggas like myself, this one na kids. |
A state that lacks shame, ooh my Nigerian!! they put up this is an achievement. They should all hide their faces in shame..toothpic and pencil factory.. |
with all that you have mentioned, you forgot to include integrity. Once a business looses its integrity, you are gone. take a visit to jumias facebook and Instagram handle and witness the unusual avalanche of unresolved queries, if you were a prospective customer, after reading those would you wish to shop with jumia ever again. |
Forget the Yoruba, the Hausa's all other tribes, the only enemy of an Ibo man is another ibo man. These guys were roommates in south. There was a deal, the Sunday guy wan chop the money alone. Middle of the night he woke up an stabbbed these two nigas to death. One of the deceased was my friend, brother, blood, rugged soldier, sailor. The news ripped me to shreds brother. It is indeed true that those whom the Gods love die you. RIV warrior.

122 unusually talented individuals began a very rigorous process to occupy just three top management seats in a top Firm. I was lucky to be on of them. God be praised, I exclaimed!! I was invited by the Chairman to come for my offer letter after a rigorous training exercise cum strategy session. session ended around 9pm, I was shocked that no pre-arrangement was made whatsoever for us,(hotel, feeeding, liquor and puna ) some of us were on the road for over 5 hours. (thats the supposed top management team). On the spot i decided, this coy definitely not worth the stress.when I left, i swore never to go back there again. I have a very good job, salary is paid promptly and of course in heavy 6 digits . tons of benefits. My current prospective employer are bragging that they can do better, but that singular act made me loose all the energy i once had. i cannot come and loose a beautiful bird at hand cos of greed. i have received several calls from the chairman, which i refused to pick. Nairalanders, was my decision hasty? how best can i end the relationship knowing that there may be a tomorrow? please advise. |
mannie i leased mine in calabar for 2.6m per annum for 5 years. i get 10k recharge cards monthly. there are a few add ons. But finally sha, the team will add small something for themselves. if anybody insisits u sell, please burst the person head with coke bottle |
A sales man is a sales man, for instance how do you intend to promote sales of bottle water(new market entrant) knowing full well the fierceness of the competition, the brand loyalty of some top brands like eva, ragolis etc. its basic fmcg questions, preety much has the same route to market in Nigeria. yes you can negotiate higher, the good thing is, if you show competence, you might as well be in for the big thing. Let me know hoe it went. Goodluck |
Emerald is the next big thing, I will not tell you what they do, be prepared, very prepared. company is state of the art, better than anything u can get anywhere in eastern Nigeria. you can quote me. show competence in sales, be bold, the panel is made up of thoroughly drilled sales professionals. Do not fidget, be yourself, you can barely finish one question, before you get bamboozled with questions. dig in, soak up the pressure, be relentless.
