UCL mostly favors the traditionalists with the bigger history especially when playing against a team with no history. Some call it luck or spirit, but it is what it is. |
MaziIgwe007:haha barca wounded on all sides ![]() |
Di Maria was the muscle behind this psg team and shouldn’t have been removed. |
Apparently Mbape needs to come to Madrid. We’ll teach him how to win a ucl final |
Psg came into this game relying mostly on their speed. As much as Mbape is talent but he needs to think out of the box other than his speed, since neymar has resorted to using his fall-down antics. This is a final, they’ve got to be unpredictable. |
flexyrule:as in... he’ll just help kill psg if he keeps on with that nonsense |
OtemAtum:i don’t mean the number times Chelsea got to finals. I mean they won their first ucl against Bayern. I said “normally”, so doesn’t mean it’ll always favor the bigger teams with history, just that most times that’s the case. |
Psg missing chances. Bayern won’t be merciful |
Raydos:obviously there’s always an exception to the rule. |
Normally the team with a bigger history usually win the ucl final. But Chelsea won their first against Bayern. Psg who knows...lets see sha |
Neymar and Lewa have come close for their respective teams. Game’s heating |
internationalman:juve can feel inter’s pain of loosing to a spanish side in finals |
internationalman:true, they rarely lose finals. best you eliminate them before finals. they dont have to play nice to win, they just figure out the win. inter wan chop sevilla birthright ![]() |
Ronaldo came to Madrid as the second best team in Spain in an era where Barca was the dominant team, he left Manutd in its glory. He worked to level Madrid and left Madrid on a high note. Messi can’t and shouldn’t leave Barca now else it’ll leave a sour taste in the memory of his reign in Spain- he abandoned the team in their time of need. He should try win the league or something and bow out |
Beverlyjean:hehe... Barca fans and their gospel of propaganda. Always trying to absolve Messi of blame. If Messi leaves now then he’ll just solidify the statement that he’s not a good leader. He shouldn’t abandon the team in their greatest trial |
mandate12:no mind am. Even bible talk say a wise man leaves inheritance to his children, even to the fourth generations. It’s no crime to be rich by inheritance. Afterall i believe himself dey sing “Abraham blessings are mine” |
Billionaire in Naira or dollars? Op need to specify |
As much as the board has its problem but the players too more than have their fair share of problems. Previously Abidal criticized the team for showing little effort when things don’t go their way and Messi replied asking Abidal to mention names. Also Sieten’s assistant had problems with the players too for lack of effort of which Alba almost had a problem with. My point is the board and Abidal don’t play on the pitch and obviously these players know what their jobs are but have failed to do so. Even at that, the way and manner they have failed is utterly embarrassing to say the least. The coach and board isn’t supposed to tell the players to run, mark and close lanes when playing. The players are professionals and should know how to do damage control, and there goes my problem with the leadership of the team. The blame goes not just on Messi but also on Pique who seems too busy with politics and Madrid. The leaders of the team have failed. I remember when Madrid goes through a rough patch, Ramos at times call the squad together, organize meetings and even private dinners to discuss how to remedy their season. There was an Classico in which Barca beat Madrid by more than 3 goals and Ramos rallied the team to seal the defense and not concede more goals since the game was lost already to avoid further embarrassment. Messi as much as the board have blames on their head and Abidal to me is just collateral damage. |
Yaya should get one cos he was the one that kickstarted the foundation for their success. |
Barca fans dey make me laugh. I remember when them appoint Sieten, naso them make noise say the man sabi their system die cos na wetin him dey use for Real Betis; and Real Betis even beat Madrid for house under him. Fast forward today na premium tears e end. Same with when Valverde was appointed. Welcome Koeman to Spain where la liga awaits you fairly, but ucl? That’s promised dream. Let the bout between ZZ and Koeman begin!!! |
TonySpike:i think 12 monkeys had the best concept of time travel. Everything was detailed and the cause and effect well explained. The end from the beginning and beginning from the end. It’s but tricky in the beginning but later i understood. 12 monkeys i think follows a linear time travel same as DC |
obonujoker:where u see mourinho for my talk? ![]() |
This is straight up back to back sadness for Barca fans |
WibusJaga:they underestimate the power of tapins |
I think it’s fair to say Pep has failed |
greypencils:aptly put. I dont need to add. For those who watch without bias this is the problem |
otijah:i swear. He can’t be disgraced like this |
Messi needs to free that middle, stay upfront and let the others get the ball to him in whatever way they can so he be much effective in the box. There’s no shame in being a box man like Ronaldo, goals are necessary in games like this not dribbles and passes. |
joyandfaith:the true example of love is blind |
Barca fans better plead the blood of Jesus over their post else e bloody die |
mariahAngel:as in pure baseless rumors that made the front page |
TimeManager:that’sa twisted tale. That Madrid team peaked just about the time Bale came. They reached the semis 3x and it was only a matter of time they won. And when they peaked they conquered for years. If you say Bale, then why haven’t they won it since he left? Bale was given the mantle last two seasons after Ronaldo left to show Madrid he’s the leader but failed spectacularly. The ucl isn’t just playing in the final match. Ronaldo was highly instrumental in making sure Madrid was ruthless in Europe. No way discrediting Bale why was pivotal too but it’s an error to say it was cos of him Madrid started winning. If Ronaldo was the one that scored that Bale’s header in 2014 finals y’all would downplay it as a simple tap in headed goal and give the shine to Di Maria who was actually the man of the match in that finals. The team peaked just about the right time and made the most of their peak years just like Barca, Spain, etc. |
