uthlaw: I always appreciate the way you asked your questions... Not like all does that talk like ezenwa is the minister in charge! Well thanks, i believe his efforts has really been helpful to alot of us, am still praying that those of us who have not recieved their stipends for september would be paid as soon as possible after resolution of the several issues raised, in order for the October and November payments to take effect also. Am lucky to be among those that recieved for September, and to be honest, it meant alot at that time it came, thats why am hoping that others get paid also, especially those that have been going to their PPA regularly, notwithstanding the distance and cost of transportation in some cases. |

Sports › Re: Three Reasons Why Messi Shouldn't Have Won The Ballon Dor Award (Opinion) by Charly500(m): 8:46pm On Nov 30, 2021 |
Yhungsarm: Messi fans are not truthful at all. Saying Messi deserves the award ahead of Lewandoski is just pure rubbish and i will give you three pure reasons why messi Shouldn't have won the Award.
1.Many of you claim Messi won the Copa America and Lewandoski failed to play pass group stage of Euro 2020 or qualify for World Cup. It is only a dumb football lover that will compare Poland squad to Argentina squad, they are jst simply incomparable. Argentina has a one of the best squad in the world. Argentina played Chile in the first match it ended 1-1, they also beat Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia to qualify past group stage, then they beat Ecuador 3-0 in Quarter finals and Colombia on penalties in the semi final. Then they beat Brazil in the final. I would like everyone to checkout the countries Messi played against in this Copa America apart from Colombia and Brazil others are not a big task for giants like Argentina. Chile and Uruguay use to be a good football playing country but right now it seems Peru is by far better than them. So technically Messi only played Colombia and Brazil as the big countries in Copa America. Whereas, Poland were drawn against Spain, Sweden and Slovakia in the Euro 2020, i need you to compare the countries Lewandoski and Messi Played against. In the world cup qualifier, Lewandoski played England and magnificent Hungary side, even tho they lost some of the matches, Lewandoski was magnificent(please check his World cup qualifier stat in this poor Poland team) same way Messi was oustanding in Barca's poor team.
2. Messi in Barcelona can never be compared to any other player in another team. If you watch Barcelona very well in 2020, you would get to know that Messi plays as a playmaker and he is given all the freedom. Every Barcelona player wants to give Messi the ball which increase his chances of scoring but Lewandoski case is slightly different even tho he is Bayern point man he still as big name who also scores individually. I hope you all get my point.
3. Messi Performance in 2021 is not as great people say. Messi fans claimed he played well in Barcelona in 2021 but he still couldn't win La liga best player despite is individual brilliance. His performance for PSG in 2021, also proves my second point about Barcelona centering their ball on Messi. Finally, i would say Messi winning the ballon dor show it is purely politics, he is clearly the second favourites but not the first. If it was by Countries achievement then Xavi or Iniesta should have won in 2010 because they performed well in the world Cup and also Barcelona. I remembered in 2010. Op i dont believe its whether who has a better squad, this same argentina have had series of talented players who had failed to live up to expectations over the years and in previous copa america tournaments where they failed in finals and 2014 world cup also, with so many people mocking their failures. They were just lucky they played together as a team in Copa America 2021 and messi certainly played a key role throughout the tournament. Nobody is taking this one away from lionel Andres messi he certainly deserves the ballon dor. Is it only me or are u guys seeing this current Argentina team becoming a formidable side in Qatar 2022, they are certainly going to go far thats for sure. lionel scaloni has certainly done a great job since he came on board. thats why messi even preferred playing games for argentina than psg. (when he was injured) We should all be grateful to be alive to watch this argentine genius play the round leather game. simply a work of art |

ezenwaez: NPower NASIMS have encouraged NPower Batch C Volunteers to exercise a great deal of patience, as October and November stipend will be paid soon.
Reason for the delay is due to the validation procedure which takes time, and after validation of the N-Power Batch C Volunteers' account information, it is sent to the Central Bank of Nigeria for disbursement of payment to individual accounts of Npower Batch C beneficiaries. We are tired of waiting for them to credit our accounts. |

ezenwaez: Lots of Npower Batch C Volunteers have been complaining that they have not been paid, but it appears about 80% of the payment issues were actually caused by NPower Batch C Volunteers themselves.
From my analysis and information gathered about some of the causes of non payment to some particular NPower Batch C Volunteers I could deduce that majority of the issues were propagated by the N-Power Batch C Volunteers.
Lots of Npower Batch C Volunteers supplied wrong account details, look at the screen shot below, you can actually see that the particular NPower Batch C Volunteer made a costly error in his account number instead of inputting 3039657849 instead he inputted 3039657894.
Please instead of persistent complains just send your correct details once to support.npower@nasims.gov.ng and also send a back up message to 092203102, 018888148 please do not send your messages more than once, and always include your Npower ID and the reason for your non payment, also send the correct account information. Some of us volunteers keep behaving as if we dont know the kind of government and Country we are dealing with, you simply dont give some of these government officials in federal ministries chances to embezzle money, as they wouldn't hesitate. it still baffles me that as hard as it is in nigeria, some people still have such glaring mistakes in thier account details. With my experience it might take a while before such is rectified, as they now have the perfect excuse for delaying the whole payment. Everyday with their different criteria on why some were paid and some were not paid. Some people have been going to their PPA since september but have not recieved anything. Anything is possible in nigeria, because we simply dont know where we are going to in this country. |

olola4: Never activate an ATM card or activate USSD for the Bank Account where you have huge funds
What happened to ops can happen to anyone, that is why you should only have the money you can loose in the bank account associated with your ATM and USSD You just nailed it, i only push little money to accounts associated with ATM and USSD when am urgently in need of cash. so usually have little or nothing left in such accounts. I was robbed in Uyo back in September while on relieve duty, this same technique worked for me, had to just block the account by calling my bank, as i had nothing in that account when the atm was stolen. To be honest we all have to wise up, since most of these guys are upgrading thier techniques everysec on how to rob people of their hard earned money. |

misterme: And I am very very angry. Gas I used to buy 2800, then 3k, 4k, and 5k. Suddenly it jumped to 7500 and now (today) 9250 in Port Harcourt. I am very very angry. Let no one here disturb me with nonsense news about Buhari and his nonsense South Africa Trade fair and nonsense. No cross me today o. I fit beat person
The gas finished yesterday. I told my wife that yesterday that I will buy the gas today because I needed to get to work and somehow raise money to augment what I have to be able to buy the gas. I told her to use the kerosene stove that yesterday and this morning. Guess her reply? She said she can't use kerosene even for a day. That even her Mum in the village does not use kerosene stove. She said a few other unprintable things. For the sake of my 3 children I still had to buy the gas today.
I had not eaten in my house for a month now. The reason is that she said that they money I gave her for upkeep in October was not enough (I give her 62.5% of my monthly salary every month for our home upkeep). As a result she refused to give me food from around the middle of the month when she said the money had finished. She cooked for herself and the children (possibly from her own salary). When I gave her upkeep money for this month I told her not bother keeping food for me so that the money will go far enough. That's where we are till now. I have no intention of ever eating her food until she acknowledges that she was wrong and apologizes.
Now I know this WON'T happen. She will rather die than admit she's wrong or apologize. This is why I know that the mistake of a marriage is heading for the rocks and I am ready for it. Nonsense and ingredients. I have endured this nonsense for 15 years. I am done. Anything whe won happen tomorrow, make e happen today. ezenwaez: Truth be told, it appears after the commencement of Npower Batch C, Npower Batches A and B who were the frontrunners of the N-Power program have been completely neglected.
The Npower Batch A and B were promised the N-exit package, which entails providing soft loans to exited Npower Batch A and B volunteers to start a business and become entrepreneurs, which was exactly the motive of the N-Power program, but it seems the promise is far fetched.
Lots of Npower Batch A and B volunteers have been lamenting that the Federal Government just used them to achieve their political ambitions and dumped them.
Please on behalf of the N-Power volunteers nationwide, we are using this opportunity to appeal to the Federal Government and the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs to revisit the N-Power N-exit package and ensure it comes to fruition.

Our system has been simply designed to frustrate the common man. Cost of living is getting higher by the day everywhere in nigeria. ezenwaez: All Npower batch c volunteers that have successfully completed their npower physical verification will be paid, payment will commence very soon latest before mid November worst scenario by November on the dot.
Npower really have a lot of issues on their table ranging from deployment issues, posting issues of npower batch c applicants, deployment letter uploading issues, BVN issues, names mismatch and account validation issues, ecsetera.
But despite all these not withstanding npower batch c volunteers that have commenced work will be paid, I am talking about the Npower graduate category, for the Npower non graduate category your training have commenced, all expenses will be catered for by Npower, and your monthly stipend starts as soon as training is being concluded, all Npower non graduate applicants are advised to adhere to camp instructions during training and every form of unruly attitude will not be tolerated by Npower training officers.
For the Npower graduate category the criteria for payment is to upload your endorsed Npower deployment letter to NASIMS and the Npower batch C volunteer must have begun work, please if you have not uploaded your signed deployment letter you will not be paid when payment commences.
In addition to the above, if an Npower batch c applicant have any form of issues with his or her NASIMS profile, you will not be paid, issues could be error in your names, invalid thumbprinting, pending issues on NASIMS profile ecsetera, so please if you have any issue try ironing them out as this is the basis for payment of your stipend. Please, how about a situation where bvn that was showing valid, then all of a sudden is now invalid, while the bvn status is showing provided. Any cause for alarm |

Supreme145: Yesterday was a day of double celebration for me, not only did I write my final papers it was also my birthday. It has been a long and trying journey but God has seen me through, I came to the university like a missionary with just my bags of cloths, slept in lecture halls and battled hunger for long periods. I wonder at times how I was able to pay my fees throughout my stay on campus but it all ended in praise.
I just clocked 29, most of my course mates are much younger while majority of my age mates have gone beyond this level but I would rather see myself as a late bloomer rather than someone lagging behind. I ventured into school mainly because most things I put my hands on before didn't pan out the way I envisaged but the experience has been worthwhile coupled with the wonderful people I've met.
The main struggle continues but I'm sure I will overcome. Thanks to the nairalander that sent me a token to celebrate my day.
More importantly I need a job, my rent expires in a couple of weeks and I can't go back to my parents house. Its time to face my struggles squarely, I can work even in Afghanistan and any condition as long as I can earn to put food on my table while I sharpen my web development skills.
Have a nice and productive day ahead. op am wishing you all the best and always remember that over taking is allowed in life. |
