Company Description

Our client is a courier service company looking to hire suitable personnel for the role of a dispatch rider.

Job Description

The dispatch rider will be responsible for outdoor and indoor delivery, sending & collecting of official documents, materials, packages and bulky items as needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following

Organize item orders by editing for price and weight compliance
Arrange shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipate delivery requirement, placing and expediting orders.
Ship items by examining items,destination, route,rate and delivery time.
Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading; reconcile quantities; note discrepancies.
Keep customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date, method, status and responding to enquiries as it relates to delivery.

Qualifications

A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate.(SSCE)
Must have a rider's card
Proven experience as a dispatcher or relevant position.
Must be smart
Must enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider.
Ability to communicate, read and write.
Multitasking abilities
Have good numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records.
Polite and able to get along with people.

Perks

Remuneration: N40,000 Monthly Net
Commission structure in place

Vacancy: Hiring - Senior Software Engineer

Our client, who is the go-to platform for African individuals and companies investing globally, are looking to hire an experienced Senior Software Engineer in Lagos to help build out in-house and client-specific apps.

Responsibilities:

Identify and plan new features in development in conjunction with Engineering Manager.
Develop APIs, SDKs and frameworks to support backend functionality and fast deployment.
Suggest and implement new mobile products, applications and protocols.
Work closely with colleagues to constantly innovate functionality and
Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
Communicate with internal and external users to understand their needs and experiences

Requirements:

Java Spring
3 years minimum in core programming for product/app development
Variety of products built to demonstrate range of skills
Leadership roles/capacities in products worked on
Breadth and Depth of experience and versatility is appreciated
Strong Spring experience
Mobile development experience
C#/C++
