TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by chatdare(m): 8:45am On Jun 08, 2013
bigfrancis21: To the best of my knowledge, no. The only option you have is to apply as a transfer undergraduate student. You'll be placed in final year or, at most, third year of the course. You'll then complete the program for one year and graduate with a US bachelors degree. Then with your making sense US degree you can then apply for masters in the same school or another school of your choice. That's the best pathway for you now. The advantage of this process is that in addition to your Nigerian UG B.Sc degree, you get to have a US B.Sc degree as well which can take you places.
Thanks so much for the advise, plz can you kindly enligthen me more on how I can go about the transfer undergraduate thing, and if possible I will like to knw schools dat can offer me such.

OjaP: You can get into the masters program with a third class depending on your CGPA and your proposed MS/MA major. Do you want to share that so we can go from there?

TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by chatdare(m): 10:16am On Jun 03, 2013
ystd4567: @chatdare,

I have read some where on this forum where someone shared his/her F1 undergraduate interview experience in which he/she was asked if he/she wrote NECO. So, I THINK the VO should have no problem with your NECO. Also, alongside with your NECO make sure you write/present a standardised test, which in your case is SAT & TOEFL. Your standardised test would show/portray you to the VO as a serious student who has a clear intent to study in the United States.
The skool am abt to apply to doesn't require sat and toefl for Nigerian undergraduate student. Did I still need to write any standardized test to show the vo at the embassy ?

Nairaland GeneralSeven Things That Men Must Know About Women. by chatdare(op): 9:27pm On Apr 02, 2013
1. Women have this thing called feelings.
don't hurt them.
2. They don't wake up looking pretty. It
takes time and effort.so wen they look
good, please Appreciate them.
3. It doesn't matter who dumped who or
why. But Whenever they see an ex with
another girl, it always bothers them. Not
because thy're not over you, but because
they know they used to be that girl.
4. They notice every little thing so be
careful what you say and do.
5. Their eyes are located in their heads. Not
on their chest or butt. So when you're not
looking in her eyes, SHE WILL KN0W.
6. It's not that they deliberately like
being late...it's just a woman's nature. They
would rather Arrive Late looking good and panache than
arriving early looking ugly and unkempt. So never confront them
when they are late!
7. Finally, the words of a woman are foolish but only the foolish man won't make the best of those words!
