Naija246: fraudsters no invade anything. Alot of Nigerians are being tricked by various apps on the play store to reveal their bvn...most of these apps are run by criminal networks all over the world.
Some unscrupulous people are also tricking Nigerians to give up their bvn when registering for national ID. My gf was asked to provide her bvn when she went to register her national ID recently. Fortunately for her she called me and I advised against giving it up.
Someone should correct me if I'm wrong but is bvn number now a requirement for registering a national ID card? Of course, it is required |

Nairaland General › Help! Jumia Has Scammed Me by Chatflick(op): 11:03am On May 18, 2020 |
Hello everyone, it happened like joke o. I purchased four items from Jumia of which a smartphone was included so the package was split in two, three items were to come at once and the other for the remaining item. The package containing the three items with my smartphone to be included, came on the 11th of May but lo and behold, the phone wasn't inside. The good thing is I opened it in the presence of the delivery man and asked him about the phone but he said I'll have to complain to their customer service though he also reported the case to their office in the state where I stay and they forwarded it to Jumia of which I was called that same day and the lady who spoke to me told me I will get a response from them within 48 hours but it's one week now and nothing.
Now, the thing is I sent an email to their customer service and I got a very annoying response (see screenshot) that from what they can see, my item has been delivered. This is a phone I paid approximately 57k for and this is what Jumia can say to me. I'm really losing my cool.

Hassan080196: General rule in contract is that time is not of essence in a contractual terms unless it’s set out by the parties that time shall be of essence. Normally Jumia do give time limits for which they will have someone’s ordered goods delivered. If they haven’t elapsed the time limit, then you can’t sue them for breach of contract. If however they failed to deliver your goods within the time limits, then you can sue them for breach of contract and seek for damages in court. They've elapsed the time by far. I'm so angry fa 57k isn't beans in this period |

I imagine it may look unfair as that would mean men have no room for failure, or they will never find love. But that's just the reality. Being the superior gender is not an easy feat! Pray your man won't go broke else... If you can't support your husband in good and bad times, then you are not qualified to be a Wife in the first place. Better ask for tips on how to become a good wife and first is by having sense of which I pray you get |

Ybaby: Such a sad story. Glad you are doing well.
See women are not good at paying a man's bills. We are not wired that way.
She starts seeing such a man as a child.
Once a man stops seeing the woman as his bread winner - the way will open for him like it opened for OP.
Young men get money! there is a financial clock for men.
OP, happy for you. You have nothing to offer any man. I'm 100 percent certain of it. Don't make your own money... Rubbish! |
