However, I know of two men who don't want their wife to work.

They'll sabotage all her efforts in looking for a job and reprimand her with the words “it is my job to provide for the family, take care of the children.” The latter is insecure that other men would talk his wife into their arms.

What I tell you is a true life story, and none of them are illiterates. Therefore, it's true; some men say it.

Personally, I think there is nothing wrong with it. I based this inference on the children -- especially if they are infant, or minors per se.

Although, a lot of people have the notion that it's unthinkable, and something must have transpired between both of them afore the elder sister's passing away.

If there are older children, that might be a case, truly...or is it really worth the blind bullet?
