We are funny in Nigeria. When we had a bed-ridden President(President Yar Adua) and got left-out in International politics we complained. Now, we have one who wants Nigeria noticed in World politics, we still complain. Who can argue that Nigeria was very visible in African and World politics during Obasanjos 8years - you just cant keep him to a small corner.Even combating terrorism is no longer a local affair. Its International dimension is even more important. Not now when Al quaoda is exporting terrorism to Nigeria. Any sensible President will go out to handle the International dimension. And i think thats exactly what Jonathan is doing. Its a step in the right direction.

This is what the law says in Schedule 3, Section 3. The information from the declarations will be made PUBLIC! That is what Jonathan is afraid of and hence why he refuses to declare his asset more than a year into the term.

You are informed that the CCB refuses to apply FOI. Read what the constitution at least says on how this all should be handled(THIRD SCHEDULE -3) The Constitution says that information should be available to every Nigerian citizen to review, but it is not. Even with FOI, no one is able to verify that the information even really exists. And it has nothing to do with the LAW but everything to do with the presidency refusing to make this record available as the law stipulates it should be.

How can you come here to say he did something that by law you should be able to see, but you can't and so cannot verify if it even exists? How?
