Good evening house,
Please I have a question....after servicing my car as usual, it was going on smooth but suddenly it wasn't starting after a week.
So I called myechanic and after checking he said the fuel injector wasn't spraying fuel to ignite the plug( which I confirmed because he loosened it n when the car was cranked there wasn't any fuel being sprayed from the tip, so he said it's a rewire work because the injector wasn't recieving power. Then the rewire came and connected the fuel injector directly to the battery and on first crank the car came on, so he concluded the fuel injector I.C chip in the ECU was faulty but he can change it for 5k as he has been doing it for several people with only success rate. Please is it advisable to go ahead with his option because what he did started the car on just an attempt?
The car is a Peugeot 406
