It could be that the person applied through another Schengen country. You are on the correct website for Spain, so download the form and complete the application.

Fill another DS 160 and update the new DS 160 on your CGI Portal. You can fill DS 160 100 times if you have the time . Your CGI page will auto update every new information you wrote there .

Please I want to ask if someone living in the UK not yet a citizen but usung BRP want to travel to the US on vacation is there any validity the BRP must have before going to the US? For example if you want to go to Schegen countries from the UK your BRP or visa in the UK must have 3 months validity. Thank you.

I applied for a visiting visa alongside my family in December 2022. Got appointment date for January 6, 2023. VISA APPROVED with no document requested. Grace followed me sha. I’m on a student visa in the Uk. Though I’ve finished studying but my BRP is still valid. For another 2months.

Go to the US site. Apply and include a genuine purpose for travelling. Get a date for appointment and get in touch. I might help

For Care job you can do UKVI academic or UKVI General or UKVI Ecctis Naric (Bsc transcript no exam) or UKVI Pte etc.

She did academic because she is a nurse. She needed to score 7.0 in UKVI Academic to qualify for UK nursing exams (CBT test). But she scored 6. so we decided she should go to UK with Care Job. So she used the ILETS for the care job.
When she gets to UK, she can write IELTS again to pursue her nursing career.

Hello everyone ,

Please has anyone here who had their biometric between 3-5 August for skilled worker visa received their decision/ passport?.

I had mine August 3rd and made several paid calls to Ukvi which I was told the issue has been escalated. I sent email to ensure that at-least I have a record of their response as evidence, but this is all I got.

“Thank you for your enquiry.

Apologies for the delay on receiving your passport back. I have passed your enquiry on to the relevant team to get your passport returned to you as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience”.

My employment in the Uk should have started on the 5th of September and I stated it there as my travel date during application.

I was told decision has been made since 12/8/22. Don’t know why they aren’t releasing passport.


Is there any advise that can help at this moment? Please!

To those who submitted bank statement proof of fund during thier work visa application. Did you guys got bank statement directly from the bank specifically for UK visa or you downloaded and used the one that banks usually send to emails every month end.? Or is it the generated ones from the bank mobile app? Please I need an urgent response. So I won't make silly mistakes. Furthermore, must it be stamped from the bank? Thanks in advance.

Please I repeat, do not send money to someone you don't know very well or haven't met in person all in the name of issuing you a COS. Because if you do, apparently you're very desperate. My brother, my sister if you do, you will be the next MUGU and you will definitely regret it. Just an advice. He that has 2 ears let him/hear hears.
