Crazy things happen:
Ogbeni truck specifications
4x2
15tons load capacity= 12,000ltrs of water
Engine capacity is less 220hp

@N180m each. thunder fire una.

i will delivery
8x4
40tons load capacity=35,000ltrs of water
Engine capacity 371

@N28m each pay duty despite FG consignment
Deliver less N28m if assemble in Nigeria, thereby create employment for youth in Nigeria

This country is a scam.

Boss, many thanks for this information.
Here in Ilorin, when I did some findings about the cost the below was given He said 2x6 @ 750 2x4 @ 480 2x3 @ 350 2x2 @ 300
Type of wood?

Muyi002:
Please in your opinion, what would you expect?

please assist with the cost of the wood below

2x2
2x3
2x4
2x6
Get your calculations from 2x6 which is 900-1100 depending on the type of wood

Itara is 1100each
Kokoigbo is 1300each
Aku is 1200

all depend on ur bargain power.
Hence If u want 2x3 Aku @1200 for 2x6= 1 to be share into 2, therefore 1 2x3=600, cutting os N30. You get a full wood in this form not solo size of wood.

I am disappointed by this your comment. Why are you trying to cast aspersion on the list? You can add to it instead of that.
The list is that of COMPETENT BUILDERS that l know, who have proved themselves in their work, over the years. and it is not every Pioneer member that is on that list, so it is not about being a Pioneer member. undecided

I respect these listed people because they showed competency in their work, dealt with others in honesty, gave good information and help when others needed it, not because they expect something in return, but out of the goodness of their heart. And they were rewarded handsomely, thorugh contract projects, for it.

As a person, (and l am sure many, many other people who have built one or two houses in the last five years when this thread started), have benefitted from the sharing of knowledge between forum members, it was mostly a symbiotic relationship.

Good People like Hajj, EgunMogaji, Madam GabbyTabby, Erico, FastShipping, Peaceland, etc all contributed Knowledge/Ideas, while also gaining Knowledge/Ideas. We gained from each other because we were not dishonest, not Greedy and not selfish.

And looking at it, l am sure non of them is HUNGRY or begging for Jobs or think everyone is WICKED either, as a matter of fact, these Competent Engineers/Builders/Suppliers got so much referrals that they sometimes will reject a job because there hands are full.

Look at Spyder, will you say he was or is Hungry? Was he ever short of jobs at anytime? Did he think we are WICKED for seeking knwledge from him?
I am aware that many of them have built their own houses, from the little-little they make, when we give them job, the only difference is that they were competent, resonable with charges, honest and hide nothing from anyone.
Sharing Knowledge/Information does not prevent you from getting jobs, it actually builds trust with your Customers and they can refer even more jobs to you, due to the level of trust.
@Lastpage, i am not casting any1, Ha! I know many Owners/Builder/Engineer on this forum i know many of their sites. i speak in open mind. Your long essay i do not understand, do any1 said i am trying to cast him or her? Oga lastpage Y?

You want to create enemies for me, ehn? grin grin
At the end of the day, l will name those l can remember off-hand but there may be one or two good ones whose name have escaped my thoughts right now
To me, Competency involves Sound knowledge and excellent Skills of the trade, Honesty with Clients, Dilligence with resources entrusted with, reliability to deliver to schedule at the best price and fear of God

If you fall into the above category and l did not mention you, please say 'Hi' here.

There are also competent Electricals, Fabricators (Doors windows), paint supplier like @gbadexy here, who dont fall into the category of builders.
List of pioneer members they gave all the information everyone enjoyed in this property section. They disseminate info to build but wicked people use the info without consulting them. there's God ooo. #theyhavefamilies.

Hello Builders in the house, please how much is appropriate (for workmanship only) to complete the upper floor block work for this project. Its a 4 bedroom duplex with two 2 bedroom flats behind. In a standard half plot. my builder is billing me 600k for that stage of work. His main reason is that it is "up work". please what do you guys think? Your response is appreciated. Thanks.
Pick one of the engineer in this forum to give you bill, block settings is 50-60naira per block up work u pay for labour to do that within 20-30naira. pay is supervision fee 10-15% of materials & labour.
