Construction require the materials you can source close to you. in some part of east periwinkle & palmcanal shell is used as aggregate for concrete.

You good to go, if sand is good u will not observed cracking, if cracking is observed you will be advice to screed.

Laterite is better than sharp sand for Filling.. Offcourse, it needs to be done properly in layers of about 300mm and compacted while wetting it..

Sharp doesn't need this process but that doesn't make it better.
Eg, can Sharp sand be used in ROAD CONSTRUCTION for Filling? No.

Correct but procedure is highly technical, you will need damper proof b4 filling, you must not allow water underneath to get a good result. No matter how you fill with laterite if water get in from top or under it will still compact, but sharp sand is once with million of water it will not change position.

I hv no disadvantage of Sharp Sand as filling is only expensive.

For road yes it is used in swamp area the end laying will be pave stone.

Mistake majority make in calculation on tons is what you put on book is not what you get, many times without number i have said this. There is different btw size of truck & content in it. What supplier out there do is 10tons in 20tons truck you can never get a 20tons payload @40k or 50k as familiar by everyone, location also a determinat factors.

instead just give the required tons price will be determined by the supplier he or she wish to transcat with...

He ask me to pay a little as he claimed not to have money to pay for the man that will open the real space to be sold. After little talk I agreed to give him money as he is my area brother like that. I gave him #100k. My thinking was I am going to pay the remaining after my SURVIOR visit the place. I was surprised when my SURVIOR got there and told me the land is a government land and he called four others to confirm it. Now the man said there is no issue as the land has been allocated to him with the attached documents. Seeing the document, the name on it (tinted) is not my name nor his name but his daughter name.
Please, what could be the consequence of someone occupying such land bcs I have no knowledge about it and don't want the buyer in trouble now or then

I have tried some laborers but water pass garri for them, they couldn't deliver, so I need specialists.

Location is Ajah axis in Lagos.

Is there any major difference between Dangote Cem and other brands like Lafarge?

The grade is the difference.

Dangote is Grade 42.5N for concrete, Block setting and Block production, their 32.5N basically for plastering is not available in market.

Lafarge Cement Classic 32.5N & Supaset 32.5R both good for all construction work. Lafarge SuperMax 42.5R is not popular in circulation

Note R=Rapid(Fast Dryness) N=Normal these represent curing system

In building construction Rapid curing are use for large volume job.
R is not good for plastering it at the end result cracking or type of sand used.

I use to think if it's rusted then it's not good, but I see here on naira land that most people use rusted iron. Please clarify these. Tnx

Every iron rod with its name on it, do mot buy any without name on it.

Bad iron will break when bending it.

Guage will not be full. eg 16mm will be 14.5mm
