marlow1962: Let me pick your argument apart: 1. You grew up in Asaba: everyone i know says that Asaba have witnessed tremendous changes these past 8yrs.. except you. At least i personally know that B4 Okowa, asaba had no good roads (especially inner roads), drainage (not even gutters in d entire city, save a small gutter front of DTHA), even the much hated Mrakpor agency gave a city better aesthetics. Nobody who grew up in Asaba during Ibori/Uduaghan time will say Asaba didn't get a facelift under Okowa. 2. Schools?? Haba, So you prefer the Delay Anyway campus (abi boarding house) to the Dennis Osadebey University Okowa brought abi? Haba. 3. HOSPITALS; Asaba didn't have any state tertiary healthcare facility for 16yrs. It took an Okowa to launch the Asaba Specialist Hospital in Okpanam... Instead of acknowledging it, you're blaming FMC(federal) decay on Okowa. 4. Roads?? Electricity? Even when Okowa copied Obaseki & Lagos govt to set-up an IPP in Asaba? Obviously you hate him, but that doesn't mean resorting to outright propaganda is the way forward. Na we still get Delta; acknowledge the good & condemn the bad. I personally think that all the governors from @1999 have been average. No one was exceptional, but they each did something commendable at least but none was exceptional |

marlow1962: Naaah, this is a very Obtuse take. On one hand his critics are saying he concentrated too much in Asaba & yet you're saying he no do one major thing for that same Asaba. Everyone knows Asaba got a massive upgrade courtesy of Okowa. Hate him for another thing, but don't lie about this particular one. |

Baba go and rest... If to say Okowa give you money rehabilitate that your dead university you'll be singing differently. How 1 person go embezzle 1.7 trillion, yet carried out some reasonable projects and at the same time improved the debt profile of the state by adding a meager 1% to the state's debts in 8yrs How? |

The problem with my beloved Delta state can be seen in comments already... Tribal bigotry mixed with politics. Most people peddling "Ibori is the best gov. r from his side.. and he focused majority on his side, infant that's what all Governors have been doing since 1999, that's why Asaba the Delta state capital is getting Basic amenities for the 1st time under Okowa, when her counterparts have long had them. At times i go wan vex, but it's like the people get what they deserve; our average Govs. That's why people (mostly from his side) still dey twerk for Ibori, the man that laid the foundation for the problems Delta state is facing. |

Lie No. 2: "That leaves us with a balance of 8 million Southern votes" Now, lie No. 3: "Obi gave Atiku the entire SS ,& SE". Oga, PDP have been winning those regions since 17 AD. I pity all these "SE & SS is on lockdown for PO talk". Obi ain't winning 1 LGA in SS, leave plenty talk. What i can agree on is that Obi will cannibalize the PDP voting bloc in SS, but also factor in the fact that PMB voters are up for grab. |

So don't bring that leg. Nigerians are easily carried away by noise, performative & media people, that's why very many thought that Osibanjo stood a chance during APC primaries. LMAO |

Honestfrend: Very sickening to see. And one idiot has been here defending IBORI like his life depends on it. I don give up TBH... I'm even certain that the major reason Uduaghan performed woefully was the reck he met in Delta, & him no fit shout or call out him godfather. Ibori the major hindrance of progress in Delta state, but Niggers blinded by ethnicity keep saying otherwise. Best Gov. my foot |

The next Governor is coming from Delta Central... If there's any top position coming to Delta North it's only fair it goes to the Ndokwa people, but this is politics & anything can happen. But to be frank, the Ndokwa nation had produced the region's senator for 16 years, and also the speaker position also. I think they've had their fair share, is just that their leaders no try at all. It's painful that Omo-Agege snatched the Federal poly from them and put it in Urhobo land, but that's politics for you. As for the tribal wars & stupid clannishness I'm seeing in the comments, you Idiatz should grow up it's 2022. |
