CodeTemplar: Oga, before you shout like a man with kidney in the skull, know these:
Faith Academy in Delta state was built with well over a billion Naira and it they cant recover the initial capital spent in two decade freom fees going by the population of the school and what they pay teachers alone.
Be guided and do proper research before hating on people you don't know.
This pattern of subsidy doesn't stop at the that particular FA alone but is being replicated in many FAs across the continent. Same pattern is present at the universities (CU and LU) also and I wonder what you stand to gain be rubbishing the efforts of a good man who didn't force himself on you like Buhari is doing.
By the way, what is the name of your profit family owned school in Lagos? State it, and let's do a side by side comparison of the school with one of the Faith Academies. Let's compare the fees, facilities and staff ratio to see just how profitable school businesses are. You sha get their time.. all na scope, listen if your government fails, you: 1. blame devil. just like accidents are caused by blood sucking demons but not evil contractors/irresponsible government. 2. blame "16 years of PDP". 3. blame the Church leaders.. you know they ought to build factories, build airports, roads and employ the numerous graduates. while the fools using tax payers money to enrich themselves and sponsor thugs/cultists are the real visionary leaders, Master strategist, this & that. Let's assume a bullion van was seen at this bishop's house.... Nigerians no go rest, by now police, DSS, Media houses for no let am sleep. Once again Na you get their time |

Hello House, My parents are thinking of a business to venture into that won't sap their time/energy. So a colleague at my mum's office suggested that she buy an oil tanker(petrol) and give it to total to use, saying he's also into it. he says it pays him about a million naira per month and it seems she's made up her mind. she was told it's capital intensive (10 Million to purchase a tanker) .. they said she can get ROI in a year.
Abeg Nairalanders, if anyone konws a thing or two about this oil tanker biz, lemme know so that I can give them sound advice.

this state is 1. ravaged by war, poverty. 2. has her people scattered within Nigerian/Cameroon as IDPs 3. has lesser PVCs collection than Oyo, rivers, delta... and these states are relatively peaceful (also Lagos has 3X the number of borno but borno almost matches them with votes cast). 4. has higher voters turnout/votes than all the state mentioned in No. 3 5. either Borno leaders/people are super smart or the leaders/people of all the States in No. 3 are super dumb. |

Now hear this.. 1. name any country that attracts foreign direct investment on a sector still regulated by the government. 2. No thanks to corruption, businesses run by the government ain't profitable.. 3. Nigeria is blissfully unaware of what is about to hit it next decade. We keep on fooling ourselves that Atiku's plan to privatize NNPC is not the right thing to do... U.S. crude production (millions of barrels/day) 2018: 15.423 2019: 17.458 2020: 18.889 2021: 19.692 2022: 20.316 Kachikwu estimates Nigeria's crude oil production will reach 2.5 million bbd this year - but that is less than the INCREASE in US production between 2018 & 2020... Between 2018 and 2022 (4 years), we are talking about an increase in US production alone close to twice Nigeria's production figures. We aren't adding discoveries in South Africa, Cameroon, Guyana or Brazil's production increases. Nigeria has a looming fiscal crisis - forget it... "Nigeria's crude is light, sweet and low in sulfur content". Sorry, that is no longer relevant. It was relevant 10 years ago, but the Shale Oil boom means that the world is awash in light, sweet crudes. Now, let's not even talk about the crazy drive for green energy. topic for another day.. 4. The irony of everything is that the same people shouting Otogè are the same people rooting for a "demigod" and everyone is scared to challenge the status quo especially the media( save for Sahara reporters). These same puppets including journalists have shamefully joined in the bandwagon of praise singers, who are always quick to point to developments in the state to the blueprint of the Jagaban Nimrod without making inquiries/ forensic check on the humongous revenue generated in state vis-a-vis the level of development. To them Ambode was the best thing that happened to Lagos state but suddenly became a Villain because one man thought otherwise of him, prolly for not working with the "blueprint" of the systemic looting of the state treasury. Imagine the media attention that wiuld have being generated if it was Saraki that was captured on cam recieving Bullion vans of monies, both the EFCC, DSS, etc would have swung into action. Honestly, I won't blame Yorubas for this because Lagos is a metropolitan city with people from diverse ethnicity and also with the pattern the SWners vote Tinubu would have being history by now, he can't try this in Oyo, Ogun or any homogeneous SW state. Lagos state that is presumably full of intellectuals have cowered into the hands of one man, and have swallowed the philosophy of baba sópe politics hook, line and sinker. A state where touting have being made lucrative and glamorous while those in the academia are left to languish in obscurity and nothingness. Sanwooulu who is now the next best thing after sliced bread for Tinubu's followers might also be kicked out if he don't follow the "blueprint" and people will not ask questions, and you people want to tell me that they've not use Lagos's pant. You see how I mixed the ups and downs together. Buhari has won, let's hope for more ups than downs is all I'm saying. Dangote refinery may or may not help us when it comes on board soon. There are reasons to have hope. Not being an unreal optimist to say things may not get worse but for goodness sakes even if we travel elsewhere, this is our freaking country.
