Hi All
Please does anyone know any online certificate/course that WES can assess favourably as 1 year post secondary education?
I have an aunt who is an auxiliary nurse here in Nigeria who we want to explore this pathway for, the only hitch is the 1year post secondary education, as the highest degree she has is SSCE.
Currently considering enrolling her for a part-time at LASPOTECH, but that is going to take soooooo long.
Please epp me if you know any biko |

Exactly. @lindaolosho, I would advise you modify your post, or better still take it down sef. It's very easy to know who you are. Except you aren't T.A that works/worked with G Ladywinterfell: I hope you know IRCC officials frequently view this thread. All they have to do is note down the full name and all personal details of yours you have been doing copy and paste all over this forum. Then they cross their legs and jejely wait for you and your ‘wife’ to submit your application. 5years 600years loading
Best of luck. |

To the best of my knowledge, only Access comes close to that limit. Source for funds from aboki and load your dorm card if you have a dorm acct. ThowLou: Can anyone advise on a bank card that has above $1000 limit so I can pay my application fees. Most of the banks have reduced the transaction limit on their NGN debit cards. |

Sterling revised their rate downwards and made the limit $100 also Maneq: Access bank NGN445 to $. NGN 335 to CAD. Limit 1000USD. Only bank with such debit card limit RN except Sterling (who charges aboki rate).
Or Dom account. NGN475 to $ from Aboki. Consider the turn around time to open account and receive a debit card (i doubt dom account debit cards are instant). Having this will be advantageous in the long run anyways. |

Hello all, you may know (or not know me). I started this thread 3 years ago when I wanted to understand what it was going to take to live in Canada. We had our soft landing in 2017 which I shared.
We are currently observing our 14 day isolation. I am grateful to God that we are healthy, and may it continue this way, in Jesus name!! |

No. The limit is $500 so you can't do above $500 in a month dtsfynest: Was the transaction above 500? |

Are you sure it's not a limit issue? Try GTB again this morning. I just used it Favourphilic: I tried using GTB, Access, First bank....none of the transaction went through |

Used it late last night Birniwa: I last used my GTB card on Paypal and directly on a foreign site and it worked perfectly. However, since yesterday both transactions via Paypal and directly on foreign merchant's site refused to go through.
I really doubt if GTB cards did work for anyone on foreign transactions in the last 3 days. |

As at this week? Cos I used it 2wks ago and it was $1000. Anyway I'll be trying it again next week and will provide feedback. Update: It appears you are right. Tried making a transaction of $600 this morning and it didn't go through. Had to reduce to $500 dtsfynest: Stanbic limit is now 500 usd monthly |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Chenkes: 1:01pm On Jul 31, 2020 |
Use Stanbic instead. Using Oanda, $1000 is about 1340 CAD. Sterling rate all through last week to last night was #472 to $1, while Stanbic was 420. Zenith and GTB have better rates but lower limits stonecoldcafe: Thank you |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by Chenkes: 12:57pm On Jul 31, 2020 |
Sterling is a no go area for now. #472 to $1 all through last week up until yesterday. Stanbic on the other hand was 420. Olabestonic001: Sterling Mastercard is your best bet. |

Access has a horrible rate. Try Stanbic. Limit is $1000 daily/monthly and rate is better chygoz3: Try and get access bank visa card. The daily limit is $1500 and monthly limit is $3000. |

Dont know if you've gotten a response but their revised limit is $500 monthly stonecoldcafe: Hello all, Please what Nigerian card is best used for payment on CIC website? I am trying to pay the sum of 1,200CAD (about N330,000) from a Zenith Mastercard and I am having a tough time doing this. I kept getting code 483 error. What could be the problem? |

I think that's about it for my landing gist. Job-hunting is now in full swing and praying for God's favour to land a good job soon. Is there a whatsapp group for Nigerians in Toronto? Would love to connect if someone can share a link. Thanks for reading! |
