FashionRe: How To Make Ankara And Leather Purses, Tote Bags, Box Bags And Accessories. by cheries: 9:44am On Oct 15, 2014
Glamourprincezz:
Generally d side of a purse should be abt 4 inches unless u want ur purse to open wide, mind u if its too wide things you put in there will fall off. so u need four inches for d side amd an extra 1" on both sides making 6" all togeda. so d fabric u will cut is 6 in width by d length of ur purse.i.e 6 by 5(from the measurement we have been using). multiply d length by 2 so dat it will serve as lining.
Please ma, can u show us the sides with illustrations maybe using piece of paper cos that's my main problem. Thanks for your time and efforts.

larosa: Blue floor length dress with ankara waist band. The idea was to make a curved band that would look like a belt. The dress has front and back peep-hole at the neckline.
I love this.... Can u teach me how to make it?

FashionRe: A “SEW ALONG” THREAD For Sewing Enthusiasts/Tailors/Fashion Designers:DECEMBER by cheries: 7:49pm On Nov 26, 2013
Hello Colleagues,
I have a suggestion to render... As the year is rounding off, i suggest that we do a simple outfit as the moderators or tutors (Onnari & Efosa) should make a list of projects that we will carry out from january till december, so that we will prepare on time and avoid this continuous posting of pics and debating on which one to embark on.
Thanx all.....

Good morning, ma.
I stumbled on this thread this morning... I love it and would love to participate but pls, I NEED ILLUSTRATED DIAGRAMS to enable me participate in the ongoing project.
Thanx for ur time
TOYNEX: now! Its time to join d pieces together. To join, pick the back and down, or any. Two pieces in d right order, cut a convenient lenght of rope, lay d two pieces on a flat surface in the right order (that is d way they should be on d finished purse) pass the rope through the last bead on each edge of d two pieces, confusin? Remember d A B C D we started with, the B and C form edges while d A and D are middle men(lol) do u get now, after passing this rope, pick a new bead and cross d ropes as usual passing left to right and vice versa, the proceed to d next hanging beads (or edge) and pass d ropes through a edge on each piece then cross again with a new bead, continue like this till u v joined all d pieces together..... QUESTION TIME
