Don't be deceived Ameachis support for Buhari was not about love for Buhari but hate for Jonathan and His wife...........He couldn't accord the slightest respect to Goodluck as a President but willing to lick Buharis Asss as a means to fight his perceived enemies. Ameachi fought a personal war which has nothing to do with Buhari, Buhari was simply a tool used to project his Ego and achieve his aim. |

Politics › Re: Buhari Leaves Bokos To Chad But Sends Airforce Jets To The SS by Chiaka(f): 9:34am On Jun 19, 2015 |
The fact that he sat with only chad and niger to discuss Boko Haram Insurgency leaving out Cameroon (Predominantly Christians) speaks volume. PPAngel: Fulani herdsmen have killed over 10,000 so far in the middle belt since 2007 and since Buhari's emergence they have increased their rates and extent of attacks.
Fulani herdsmen now operate with impunity in Nasssarawa, Plateau, Taraba and Benue.
Why has your Buhari not drafted the airforce to bomb their locations only for him to order jets to attack supposedly militant hideouts in Criss River which is by far the safest state in Nigeria.
I know of kidnappings in Ugep areas of Central cross river which is mainly restricted to indigenes kidnapping themselves over land disputes.
Those this warrant sending the airforce to bomb them when we have a real danger of Fulani herdsmen in the middle belt?
Try and find some one from Nasssarawa to educate you on the extent of rampage that is currently on going in that state by Buhari's Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association which he (Buhari) has remained mute over. |

There are lots of desert -like looking lands in the north they should situate it there if they must and moreso its closer to source of raw material, Uranium from Niger. But I will rather say NO to the project complete NO |
Politics › Re: Igbos, South Southerners, Nigerians, Say No To Nuclear Power Station In Nigeria by Chiaka(f): 3:21pm On Jun 18, 2015 |
Our crude oil will do same we don't have a take a far more dangerous option. If its that wonderful siting it in Katsina or far north is better since they are closer to source of Uranium supply from Niger republic. For me its an outright NO anulaxad: People are so ignorant.
Indeed, I am against nuclear power, but do remember it's produced by nuclear fission and the radioactive waste is disposed of extremely carefully.
Do not mistake Buhari for Jonathan.
We Nigerians and west Africa in General should be the ones controlling the nuclear power usage as Niger is the fourth biggest producers of uranium and we shouldn't shut out the idea of nuclear power because certain people are too ignorant(induces fear) to understand the benefits of it.
The benefits of nuclear power is more than its negatives; that cannot be said about fossil fuel power plants. For example Nuclear power can last for 1000 of years as they contain alot of energy per kg. |
Politics › Re: Igbos, South Southerners, Nigerians, Say No To Nuclear Power Station In Nigeria by Chiaka(f): 3:17pm On Jun 18, 2015 |
Until then for the present day Nigeria is a BIG NO!!! victorels: We are better than this.
Instead of showing our fears for the Born to rule sect, why not champion the training of Igbo Engineers and Nuclear Scientist if there is anything like that, so that they can qualify to manage the plant when it is installed or built.
The only way Igbos can be relevant in Nigeria again is for them to champion advanced technology in Nigeria. They can only do so by Identifying skills for advanced and future technology and begin to train manpower to take charge of those technologies when they finally arrive.
Being prepared doesn't mean we should Identify the ills of our colleagues and cry about them for pity and help from foreigners but rather, out smarting them in any mischievous scheme if at all any exist.
Stop crying and hating and start planning. We should own the brain and start reasoning. |

alfred5: To study what? Will he acquire B.sc in Democracy after the study or has Nigeria to University?
We need him to act fast as he and his cohorts told Nigerians that they know Nigeria and Nigerians problems already. No need schooling Nigeria. Somehow right but 2 weeks is way too short for any significant change. Too much party problems with Tinubu wanting to lord it over everyone like he thinks Nigeria is Lagos state. Guess he is dealing with all that the reason releasing ministerial list have taken some time too I believe |

obailala: You guys are all just a bunch of bitter Jonathanians losing your cool over a non-issue.
First of all, there's absolutely nothing wrong with what both Jonathan and Buhari said. But if we must argue about the English words 'Brothers' vs 'Siblings' then I would say 'Brothers' is a general term which could represent even a whole nation but 'Siblings' is quite specific to family level.
But then again, you guys need to vent your energy on more meaningful things and quit all these emotional outbursts. papaejima1:

Your explanation is incorrect. As usual you resorted to insult to cover up your inadequacies. I will not go your way but explain to you the difference, source is from best yahoo answer, difference between sibling, brother and Brethren Best Answer: Sibling refers to either a brother or sister who shares at least ONE biological parent with you. Even if the brother or sister is adopted, use can still call them sibling. Brother: generally refers to a male who is related to you through at least one parent ( again if they are adopted the same rule applies but it's both parents). Sister: same as brother but female version Brethren: This term is usually used when dealing with certain cultures or religions. Certain churches will refer to the women of the congregation as Sister and men as Brother or Brethren ( sometimes they will simply refer to the entire congregation as Brethren). The rules for brother/sister apply here just not in a 'biological' way. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20091019184927AAmGAi2 |

Have you seen any Ibo coming out to say they hate certain tribes??
