I dont think they have seen it. When my school sent mine initially i sent an email to find out if they saw it they said no. I asked the schools to send back the transcript and they did. After a couple of days my status changed to received.

I sent another email just to ensure they saw it (see response below)

I suggest you ask your school to send the transcripts again but meanwhile,

Send an email to this email address to find out if they have seen your transcript BCIT_ICESINFO@bcit.ca
Note that ur ICES number and full name should be the subject of the email.

see the response I got the response below. Hoping i dont have to wait for 10 weeks.

We have received an e-mail from your institution in late November. It is currently with the evaluator for reviewing. If anything else is required you will be notified, otherwise, the current timeline for ECA completion is 10 weeks.

Thank you.

Regards,

I advise you wait. I felt like this with my last ielts, instead of waiting for the result, I quickly registered again. And guess what, My result turned out good and so I didn't need to right again. I requested for my 75% refund on the new registeration but they are yet to credit me. It's over months now.

Wrote mine in Abuja. The writing. I cant remember it as stated but its something like this
1.
You had an interview 2 weeks ago and you are yet to hear from the hiring manager. Write a letter
1. telling him about the interview
2. Why you think you did well
3. Why you need to know the result of the interview

2.

Some people say that giving gifts and presents is a sign of care. while others say there are better ways to show care. Discuss both opinions and state your opinion

The listening wasnt fun. background noise made it a bit difficult. I lost track from 17-20 and had to guess

The reading test was quite easy. Easier than i thought it will be.

My overall assessment is that IELTS isnt that difficult with commitment one can easily get 8 in all 4.

Still trying to decide if i should re register immediately cos of what happened during the listening test.

kiari:
Y'all should gist us na.... How was your ielts test for those that wrote today? Questions et all grin

Good day All,

I applied for ECA with ICES. I am evaluating B.SC and MSc. I was just informed that my MSC transcript was sent to ICES on Tuesday.

Kindly confirm if ICES will notify me if they receive my transcript. I am confused and worried.

Please help. Thank you and God bless us all!
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 5 by Chicagomum: 10:05pm On Oct 07, 2018
Hello,

Please I am on the ICES site, there is an option for address where the report should be sent to.

Kindly confirm if its to Canadian immigration and if I should request that a copy be sent to me.

I am abit confused.

Thank you

veleta:

Type ICES ECA evaluation and detailed process pops out. However, click on *apply now*, fill in your details, your reference number with A000.....,will be displayed, take note of that then after filling it,scan and upload original B.sc or whatever degree you have in coloured as well as your international passport. There is a placeholder for each document.Of you are married, upload your marriage certificate in the placeholder for*others* this is important to prove the reason for discrepancy for the names in your certificate and international passport.

Go ahead to make payment with debit card as it is accepted notwithstanding their website specifically said only credit card is accepted.Courier fee for Canadian address is $26 while international address is$75.

Then for official transcript, your school *must* send it to ICES through the school's official email address or they can courier it to ICES.Official school email address should not be yahoo or gmail.

I would suggest you follow up with your school so that once the transcript is ready, you can create an ICES acccount, submit then send the reference no to your school to submit the next day or so.

They only send acknowledgement of documents, and completion of ECA to your email or you can log in to your account to see it too.

Once your school sends your transcript to ICES,send them a mail to confirm receipt and you will get response within 48 hrs.Goodluck guys.

The whole process was 5weeks.

Tell you friend not to try it o. Here in Chicago someone used an ambulance some weeks ago and it cost $1000. Moreover the hospital will charge him for emergency services which is more expensive than normal. He may end up being penny wise pounds foolish.

Why go through the stress coming here to cut corners? He should stay back in Naija and give his wife his ticket money jare grin

bigass:
My friend's husband is a doctor. They both got visa to give birth. Now d husband said he will deliver baby himself and call the ambulance. So no cost of delivery.

Deactivate account Can see you are high on something (is it sniffing out agents grin). You are too small to make me deactivate my account.

You have no business with whosoever i choose to birth with. You just said i was fake now advising to deliver with Dr A. You are obviously confused and i recommend you get some rest.

You are done with your birthing give pregnant women breathing space! Stop being selfish! Stop bullying! Stop attacking people because they do not buy your opinion!

Like i told you before you met the wrong match!

nefertitiram:

Don't worry, you will soon vex and deactivate your account AGAIN.

Don't forget to come and tell us how you delivered with Doc A and he was your knight in shining amour.

I did not discredit anybodys story...

justwise:

They only jumped out to give 'positive feedback' of Dr A. after a member here narrated a very bad experience with the Dr which nobody denied just to discredit her story. If your experience with him is good one then fine but don't come out to discredit somebody who just went through life changing experience.

Dr A. knows about this forum according to many he spoke to so why not send one of his staff to come here to give his own view about what happened?
Travel / Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by Chicagomum: 5:43pm On Nov 05, 2015
Lol self esteem. You should be the one polishing your self esteem cos you radiate very low self esteem.

Just telling you the truth most people wont tell you. Stop bullying people. You cant bully me neither can you force me to believe your opinion!

Start punching the holes o waiting for you dont lay low!
You are the only one on this thread that tells the truth all others are agents or are lying. Yeye dey smell

nefertitiram:

Polish your self esteem.
If I'm the bully you say I am, I will begin to punch all the holes in your stories. But no, I will lay low and wait for you to bust yourself grin

And yes you are one of the BULLIES

Madam,
You use him 1st and come and discredit us na. That is the agreement.

Yes there is a clique here and yes they try to force their opinions down peoples throat.

I am currently in Chicago and have met a couple of people using Dr A. The feedback I have gotten so far is different from the way he is being portrayed on this thread.

@ Justwise i admonish you to be fair in post deletion cos it seems people that had good feedback about Dr A had their comments deleted and are labeled agents while you allowed comments from people that haven't even had any interaction with him thrive.

I asked those that are currently using him to come and give feedback cos they are members here and they asked what is the use when their comments will end up being deleted or they would be bullied or labeled agents..

Please lets mind what we post here especially when you have not had any form of interaction with the said Dr.

My one cent.

uchetobi:

This whole bullying thing is about forcing our individual opinions down other people's throat. Case in point dr A of Chicago or wherever he practices from and also dr F

Let people that had bad experiences post it by all means but it's people that haven't even used this drs that now add kerosene to fire and drag it to the point that it looks like .....

Koi koi... is the drama over? Turns left and right seems so grin

Back to the koko

My POE story

Traveled with KLM at 35 weeks + no fitness to fly was asked. Requested for wheel chair thinking it would save me at ORD.. lol.. though it fast tracked my meeting with CBP.

CBP : Are you here alone
Me: Yes
CBP: Scanned my fingers and took my picture. How long are you staying?
Me: 9 weeks
CBP: Can i see your return ticket. Handed it over to her. What will you be doing here for 9 weeks?
Me: Vacation and Child birth.
CBP: Where do you work?
Me: xxxx
CBP: How do you intend to pay your bills? How much do you have. I want the exact figure
Me: $7500 and I have my card.
CBP: Please come with me. She took me to the secondary inspection unit.

There were so many people there should be about 50 people or more. I knew i was in for a long thing.
I sat for 1 hrs, 2hrs, 3hrs! At a point i was like what is happening here? People that came after me were cleared and they left me there. I went to meet one of the officers and he told me they group the cases based on severity. That those that came after me and have been cleared had minor cases. In my mind I was like I don enteram o shocked. I went back to my sit. After about 15 mins I went to meet another officer and he asked if I was Nigerian I said yes. He said he saw my passport that it would soon be my turn. By this time i was already feeling dizzy cos my blood sugar had plummeted. Finally after about another 20 mins an officer called me. He was like you stated you will be staying for 9 weeks; We stamped you in for 10 weeks. They didnt request for any document ooo... No form of interview. I was like? In my mind why in the name of God was I kept here for close to 4 hrs! Anyways I just got up from the wheel chair didnt even wait for them to get someone to push me and left.

Went to the exit submitted my declaration form as I was about to go the Customs guy noticed I was pregnant. He said Madam please step back. My eyes nearly poped out of my socket.
CBP: Did you inform the embassy about your pregnancy
Me: Yes. Do you want to see it?
CBP: Yes
Me: Handed over the change of intent mail to him
CBP: How much do you have
Me: Cash 7500 card: ×××
CBP: Madam please come with me
Me: Really pissed now. I told him i had spent close to 4 hrs at d secondary inspection unit and they released me so what does he want
CBP: Please come with me this would be very short. Can I have your passport.
Me: Gave him my passport and he handed it over to another officer. The officer scanned it and recorded something and gave it back to me and told me I was free to go.

Na so my waka be o. Had already bought my ticket before i discovered this thread. Will not go through Ohare in a very long time abeg. While i was waiting they sent 3 people to their cell awaiting deportation. One was unfortunately a Nigerian guy. 2 guys and a lady. The lady was not pregnant.

Intending pregnant travelers should note that once you are pregnant and you tell them you would in most cases automatically be directed to secondary inspection unit in ORD

Just excited I made it down here against so many odds. Make una help me shout 3 halleluyahs grin grin grin

You do not need to include any document. DHL wont even take the documents from you. If the embassy needs/wants to verify payment they would call you for an interview.

pampem:
Hello mums,

I greet. Please anyone done us drop box renewal after delivery in us? With a previous b1b2 visa. did you include receipts for full payment and the email sent to embassy notifying of intention to go deliver along side other documents to be submitted?
Note. No question as per pregnancy was asked during visa interview but the regular mail was sent prior to going for delivery in the states.
Please guidance and information is needed.
Thanks

I was wondering o.. grin

Why should I have an issue with reveiws. I do not have any issue with reviews. Reviews helped alot with my decision on what hospital to use

Is there an issue with considering all angles as it relates with posting on the thread and coming up with an appropriate policy?

I do not think we should look at only the costs issue. A hospital or doctor can be cheap but have very bad reviews. The reviews may even be more important than cost in some cases.

firsttymum:
huh my reply to ur msg before this was d kiss smiley. Not what I typed just before mentioning u.
If u notice the msg doesn't relate to whatever point u r trying to make.
I'm more for the postin of Hospitals and costs (transparently) than review...

Btw why do u av a problem with reviews? Except I'm misunderstanding u.. Scratch that don't bother answering

I am lost... please break down your message but before you do that please read Justwise's messages in the last 2 days and also read mine. It seems you are commenting without facts.

firsttymum:
The posting of cost and hospitals is our main ish... We advocate "personalised" Hospital experience be posted not I got info on this Hospital pm me for details... If u haven't used the hospital and gotten ur zero balance on ur hand (lol) don't lead us there... So one isn't forced into Medicaid (lol). not a flimsy phone call or incomplete info to d Hospital without being sure bout everything ( bills, documents) then one newbie ( not me) will go and b thoroughly surprised.

Is it now an issue to seek clarification? If you know my clarification doesnt go well with you please jump and pass. Its not mandatory you comment.

Fyi when changing rules and policies you look at all angles so that updates are all encompassing.

I believe Justwise has gotten the message and would tell us what will be allowed.

modath:

Why are you catching feelings & seeking clarification exactly ..

If you see bite mark on someone & you are told a dog bit him or her, cos you didn't witness it, it makes it invalid, right ?

Leave matter for mathias, we saw the mess & part of the gbese was paid while we were there!! You already have a place in sync with your budget, stay with that.

3rd party, 57th owanbe, review is review!!

Service failure is SERVICE FAILURE.

Please read Justwise's comments. He raised the issue about 3rd party reviews. I want him to consider the Dr/ Hospital review angle in his policy update so that we are all clear.

firsttymum:
Hmmmm When u say third party u sound like the person isn't human.... that's another person's experience it cld b a family member for all u care... At least if one goes ahead despite the warning or review u know what u r signing up for, plus u r more prepared.... This thing is someone's life and baby's life at stake. reviews are good but it's how an individual wanna handle it that now matters.

Madam I am not defending anybody. Moreover the crux of my message has bin highlighted. Should reviews be via ist hand experience or ist hand experience and third party. Thats where we are now and thats what I expect you to comment on not draging me back to an issue that Nef has trashed out.

modath:

I didn't have any intention of saying anything anymore but you can't beat someone over the head with info she has 1st hand on, moreover this is a place she spent months on end!

You are defending a DR that is a famous in the naija cycle for bailing out & directing people to use govt assistance... He is lucky his main client base is Nigerian

We didn't stay with other NL mamas we were integrated into the Northside /Evanston naija cycle so it is not dem say.. We know what we are talkin about..

Taking delivery at home in a country such as US is story for the gods!!

Like nef said, don't look for dr in chicago anymore, you can use DR A & shut us all up with your review (with evidence)...

Nb-- before you respond to me, cool down well think am, I no go settle body down respond oooo. grin
