You sound like someone that has made up his mind already. You have created several threads complaining about your wife and her family members.
Anyway, I feel you and your wife need a marriage counsellor or the intervention of elders, so that you both can vent your thoughts/frustrations, then you decide if you both still want to continue with the marriage or not. But keep in mind that you have kids, and they're also going to feel the effects of a broken home.

She may be lying and she may not be lying. Maybe she was compensating the rich man's son by helping him do his assignments, house chores and other school works, while he helps her pay her tuition. But, she may also be lying and it may be that the guy banged, because I'm surprised the rich man's son will train a girl in school and even pay 6 months rent for her boyfriend. First of all, you should be concerned about being more intelligent for YOURSELF, not because of your girlfriend or any other person.
Secondly, you've got to know that everyone is smart, but we all have our individual fields of knowledge. You may look at bus conductors or agberos as being illiterates, but they're very intelligent money-wise, they're able to make certain calculations so quickly and accurately that even an educated person will be surprised. Same way your girlfriend outsmarts you at some instances, is the same say you can outsmart her in other instances or fields of interests; could be sports or something else.
No one is all-knowing, not even your girlfriend or Sheldon cooper.
Here's some things you can do to be more intelligent: Be confident, read more, be curious, watch documentaries, try new things everyday, visit sensible threads on Nairaland, meditate alone once a while, socialise with people that share similar interests with you, be attentive, take a walk once a while even if it's around your street,listen to mind-relaxing songs, etc

I'm surprised a woman that carried a baby in her womb for 9 months will willingly agree with her useless husband to sell her child for #50,000 or even any amount. #50k that's not even up to $100. And, a more useless woman will agree to buy another person's child. Why do people even buy kids these days? If you need a child or you have a child to give up for adoption, then you can simply go to the appropriate and government licensed adoption agencies. How hard is that? Only people with evil intentions will cut corners to buy kids.

The woman then gave them the sum of N50,000 and they handed over the baby to her despite not knowing her from Adam

Lies! They know the buyer. No woman, especially an African woman, will hand over her child like that, even if she hates the child or she's poor to the core.

He won't just randomly go to the Customer Care section of the bank to complain; there's a way he'll talk and he'll be referred to the manager or a senior official at the bank that must have seen such situations the OP is going through. The Senior official(s) will know how best to handle the situation, and the kinds of documents needed in order to appropriately solve this dilemma.

-Go to the bank.
-Inform them of EVERYTHING, and tell them to keep you anonymous because your brother is Mike Tyson and he might disfigure you and the bank manager with upper cut if he finds out someone mentioned his name.
-The bank will give your dad a call about certain withdrawals going on in his account. They might ask to know about anytime your dad will be with the phone, so they'll give him a call when he's alone or when brother Mike Tyson is not there.
-The bank will know the best way to handle this, they'll also know the appropriate security measure to take, as long as you inform them of everything.
You should also inform and involve any older relative(s) you have about the development, so such person will intervene. I just hope Mazi Tyson will not give them TKO during the family meeting.
I wish your pops speedy recovery. May God not give us children that will take advantage of us when we are down o.
