Later she said to me: "I will never stop singing HU. It lifts me up. It calms me down.

On Tuesday, she called me. She hadn't been able to keep the appointment. She said it was raining heavily.

I smiled. I knew she was scared. She was just being human. By Thursday, however, she was ready. She saw a more senior doctor. The scan was repeated.

I told her to get two specific fruits. She was to eat them over the next couple of days. She was to sing HU and follow some other spiritual exercises diligently.
She complied

Kunbi didn't have to tell me because I knew who the Holy One was and I knew he was going to visit her in Ibadan.

(We were living on different continents, if you're wondering). The visit was going to lead to a healing but this fact was not to be disclosed to Kunbi.

It would have short-circuited the natural flow of the Holy Spirit's energies to and through her.

"I saw a brown skinned man. He has short grey beards. He was just staring at me. He seemed to be wise and he cared."

Through what is known as Soul Travel, Kunbi had seen one of the Masters who worked under the direction of the Mahanta.

Their job is to assist the Mahanta to help Souls who are ready to be lifted beyond ignorance, darkness and the Maya of materialism, into the effulgence of illumination, liberation, and co-workership with the Holy Spirit.

We sang HU for twenty minutes. This was followed by a quiet contemplation of about five minutes.

During this moment of silence, we both listened to the Inner Voice for guidance. She was new to this but she had a remarkable experience.

Even if she had to do the surgery, I would have preferred she travelled out first.

While in England, she could sort herself out better. She would have resumed her program and also have access to other specialists who might be better situated to handle her situation.

Whatever my thoughts and preferences, the Holy Spirit was in a better position to direct and transmute the situation in the best interest of the young lady.

I noticed she had calmed down. That was a good sign. Raw emotions are obstacles to Higher perception, just as the logical mind is also a hindrance.

"Tell me what to do," she demanded.

"You have to detach from the problem so you can see it clearly. However, a horizontal detachment will not solve the issue.

A vertical detachment where you rise above the problem gives you the capacity to find a solution beyond the box of the mind and emotions.

It's at this level that the Mahanta will show you the 360-degree profile of what's going on and how to turn the lesson into a blessing."

"The scan showed an ovarian cyst. The doctor said I have to operate. The appointment is for Tuesday next week. Why is my life so miserable?" She began to weep again.

I tried to put what she was saying in perspective. This is another lady who has not had a child and was diagnosed with a potentially serious problem in her reproductive organs.

Again, this lady was based in Ibadan. Both of the Ibadan events were a few decades apart but I could hear the Voice of Spirit very clearly.

I was to be of help by showing Kumbi the unfathomable Grace of the Holy Spirit.

Sometime in June 2023, I got a distress call from Kunbi (not her real name), a Christian lady who was about to travel to the UK for her Masters, come July.

She had about a month to the travel date. But why was she crying during the WhatsApp call?

"I've been having serious abdominal pains for about six months now. On and off. But yesterday I couldn't bear it any longer. I decided to go to the clinic.

The doctor sent me to the lab. The scan was done…" She broke off, sobbing profusely.
"Kunbi, I can't hear you clearly. What is the problem?"

Up Next: KUNBI'S IBADAN MIRACLE

Jenny was astonished, yet grateful. She chanted HU for a while, sending waves of gratitude to God and to Lai Tsi. That's how Jenny received her second miracle.

With another sweeping motion of the palm, he closed her up. There was no sign that her stomach was ever opened.

The pain was gone. He returned the scalpel to the pouch, stepped back and raised his right hand, palm open towards Jenny in benediction.

Then he too vanished into thin air, exiting the scene as dramatically as he had entered.

Her stomach opened but there was no cut and no blood.

With the scalpel, he removed a whitish tissue the size of a Ping-Pong ball.

With a deft twist of his hand, the tissue disappeared into thin air. Gone, like it had never existed.

Yes, my stomach aches. Help me," she stuttered.

"Yes," he said. He proceeded to remove a scalpel from the pouch. "We have to do a little operation right here." He paced towards her, holding the scalpel as though intending to cut open her abdomen.

My daughter, you called me," he announced as unceremoniously as though he lived next door.

Jenny was happy to see him. She would have been stunned by this rarity—the presence of a holy man from the third Heaven—but the pains in her abdomen robbed her of the sense of awe. That would come back later.

Her first expectation was that her beloved brother had returned home from work, which would have been quite a relief, were it so.

However, when her eyes opened she was confronted by the diminutive figure of the Chinese Holy Man, dressed like a Buddhist priest, with a pouch tied to his waist. She recognized Lai Tsi immediately.

Now, she chanted for help, but the pains did not subside. In the process, she fell to the floor, clutching desperately to her stomach. But she never lost faith.

She never stopped chanting. After about five minutes, there was a knock on the living room door. The door wasn't locked but someone had knocked on it.

My sister opened her eyes to see who it was. She knew the front door was locked. She also knew I was the only one with the key to open it.

JENNY AND THE CHINESE HOLY MAN

In another incident, when she was visited by an advanced Master of Chinese origin, I was also not at home.

It was 2:00 p.m. She was lying on the three-seater couch in the living room, writhing in agony, caused by excruciating abdominal pains.

She could barely move. This was before the era of cell phones when you could push a button and help would find you. She had no other option but to fall back on the ECK teachings she had been exposed to.

She began to sing HU for help. After a few minutes, she had a strong nudge to switch to chanting "Lai Tsi" the name of a Chinese Master who lives on the Third Heaven but serves God in all the Universes. He has the ability to make corporeal appearances anywhere in the Universe.

The cousin sent the money to my sister. It all looked very casual, except to a few of us who were aware of the fact that this cousin had never given as much as a bottle of soda to anyone I knew since I was an adult.

This was my father's doing from across the veil. Although he had left enough to hand over to his children, the will and the estate were still undergoing due process.

Two days later, a distant cousin called Jenny. "I have this nudge to find out how you're doing, you being Baba's youngest child.

Why are you still at home?"
Jenny told her what the problem was.
"Send me your account number. I'm going to send you that money now. I want you in school by tomorrow."

It was around 8:00 p.m. Jenny had gone to bed and was about to drift off to sleep when our dad appeared in the apartment.

He stood by my sister's bedroom door. I was not home. In fact, I was far away on the other side of the city.

"You're home alone," he remarked.
"Yes, my brother has gone for the night." She replied while taking in the new appearance of this mysterious man.

SCHOOL FEES FROM ACROSS THE VEIL


At about the same period, my sister had a different miracle. Jenny (not her real name) was then living with me. She was also a student of Eckankar.

Before Eckankar, Jenny was accustomed to miracles and relating with Souls beyond the veil.

A year before the event I am about to narrate, our father had translated (died). A week after, my dad visited my apartment in his new Light body.

I am sharing these stories because it could perhaps clear the way for someone out there.

By "clear the way", I mean it will allow someone out there to see that life is indeed rich and bubbling with possibilities. The only thing holding us back is our believes and misconceptions...

The way she was narrating the incident was increasing my own apprehension. I needed to hurry her up. If something worse had been discovered, then let's get to the matter. My dad would say, "A real man dies only once."

Fear and apprehension can make a coward die many times, metaphorically speaking.

"So, what did they find?" I prompted.
"It's what they didn't find that was bothering him," she replied.
"Tell me." The suspense was nerve-wracking.

"Dr. Daniel asked me to look at the scans starting from the first one done a year earlier. I saw the fibroid. I checked the next one and the next three after that.

The fibroid was getting bigger in size. Then I looked at the one I took two months ago. The fibroid was so large. He now pointed at the one done today. He said, 'Can you see the fibroid?' I looked closely.

Something was wrong here. He said, 'Grace, where is the fibroid?' I looked more closely. I raised up the scan as if that would help me see it better."

"That's interesting," I enthused. Those are healers in the Astral world. "What did they do?"

"Nothing. At least I don't remember seeing them do anything except just stare at me."
"Did you notice any other thing or person in the room?" I asked, knowing that the Mahanta or another Master was the one who arranged for that "hospital appointment" in the Inner World.


These men and women were not ordinary hospital workers.
"Nothing, except the lights in the ceiling directly above that bed. They were white but didn't hurt my eyes. Staring at them, I just felt a sense of peace. Then the next thing, I woke up"


"That's fine. You can go for the appointment with Dr. Daniel next week. You should not stop doing your regular spiritual exercises and eating those fruits I recommended."

I helped her sort out the daily routine.
"In addition to these," I told her, "you need to write down your inner and outer experiences that have a bearing on your condition.

After the 14 days, you will review all you have written. Spirit is always talking to us but we're often too busy in our mind, arguing with ourselves, doubting everything and wishing on ourselves all that we don't like.

Through dreams and events that happen during the day, Spirit sneaks in to reveal to us vital nuggets to make our lives easier. If we note them, they can help us a great deal."

"I'll do everything you have outlined. After 14 days I will report back," she said in a note of rediscovered confidence and hope.
"That's fine. Whatever happens in the Inner, or physically, don't be attached to it. Just have faith that God has your back."

While listening to Spirit, I found out that the reason Grace was going through her challenge was so that her faith in the Higher Power could be boosted.

I also intuitively perceived that she had to do a 14-day program of intensive HU singing, fruit fasting, and dream healing. After the 14th day, she could go for her appointment at the hospital.

In Eckankar, I learned not to lay hands or heal people without their permission. In fact, I learned to take the higher road spiritually.

This involves a total surrender to the Holy Spirit. The Mahanta, the personified Holy Spirit, is the best to go to when you have any issues, be it health, social, or spiritual.

The Mahanta appears as the Living ECK Master, the leader of Eckankar. Followers of Christianity sometimes experience him as Christ, Buddhists as Buddha, just as Hindus may see him as Krishna or Rama.

He's sometimes called the immortal al-Khdir by the Sufi. In Yoruba mythology, he's known to appear in the form of Orunmila or another Orisa.

The whole purpose of "appearing in a familiar guise" is to make communication easy for the human mind. We're more at ease when we relate with something or someone we're familiar with.

Otherwise, the Mahanta makes contact with you as pure Light and Sound, the twin elements of the Holy Spirit.

"I don't know what to do," she submitted. Looking at her, I knew that statement was a Soul to Soul communication, asking for help from the Holy Spirit.


Most times when we're in a quandary, we rarely have the presence of mind to realize that when all the logic and physical resources and knowledge fail, we could surrender our fears and cares to the Higher Power.

We're too caught up in the whirlwind of mental permutations to hear the Still Small Voice whispering to us, saying "I am always with you."

1998 was my thirteenth year of continuously singing the HU and I had been relating intimately with the Holy Spirit for a much longer period.

During that period, I witnessed hundreds of miracles. That notwithstanding, every new challenge is as challenging as the very first one. Grace was a member of Eckankar, and so was familiar with the HU and the ECK principles.

But these factors neither guarantee understanding nor assurance in the face of adversity. Yes, the ECK principles and exercises help us to connect with the Holy Spirit.

But the consistent demand of every moment in life is that we summon the courage and discipline to do the needful.
