meanwhile in other news "The New York Times, one of the greatest and most influential institutions in the world, has described President Jonathan as a lousy president. Christiane Amanpour described Jonathan as a failed head of state. The Economists magazine
described the Jonathan government as a failed regime. Senator McCain says Jonathan’s government is practically not existing and therefore America should just help Nigeria. Hilary Clinton says Jonathan is running a government that is supervising the siphoning of
Nigeria’s resources.
This is the verdict of the world and there is no hope

Politics › Re: Israeli PM Addressing USA Congress(live) by Chigold101(op): 6:06pm On Mar 03, 2015
WASHINGTON — Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel used one
of the most prominent platforms in the
world on Tuesday to warn against what
he considers an ill-advised nuclear deal
being negotiated with Iran, culminating a
drama that has roiled Israeli-American
relations for weeks.
In an implicit challenge to President
Obama, Mr. Netanyahu told a joint
meeting of Congress that Iran’s
“tentacles of terror” were already
clutching Israel and that failing to stop
Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons
“could well threaten the survival of my
country.” The deal Mr. Obama seeks will
not prevent a nuclear-armed Iran, he
said, but “will all but guarantee” it.
“We must all stand together to stop
Iran’s march of conquest, subjugation
and terror,” Mr. Netanyahu told the
lawmakers, who responded with
repeated standing ovations.
Mr. Netanyahu’s address, by far the most
anticipated speech to Congress by a
foreign leader in many years, has
generated resentment and reinforcement
from different quarters while driving a
partisan wedge between Democrats and
Republicans. While he was escorted to
the rostrum by a bipartisan delegation of
lawmakers and greeted with raucous
enthusiasm, especially by Republicans,
more than 50 Democrats skipped the
event.
Mr.
Netanyahu tried to defuse some of the
political edge that preceded his arrival by
praising Mr. Obama for all he has done to
support Israel. Mr. Netanyahu cited several
instances when he called the president for
help, such as seeking more missile
interceptors during Israel’s military
operations against Hamas. “I will always be
grateful to President Obama for that
support,” Mr. Netanyahu told lawmakers.
And he repeated a comment he made
elsewhere on Monday lamenting the furor
that surrounded his visit. “I deeply regret
that some perceive my being here as
political,” he said. “That was never my
intention. I want to thank you Democrats
and Republicans for your common support for
Israel, year after year, decade after decade.”
But he argued that Iran remains as radical and
untrustworthy as ever, even though it and the
United States are effectively on the same side in
battling the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or
ISIL. “This regime will always be an enemy of
America,” Mr. Netanyahu said. “Don’t be fooled.
The battle between Iran and ISIS doesn’t turn Iran
into a friend of America. Iran and ISIS are
competing for the crown of militant Islam.”
Sitting in the packed gallery of the House chamber
were Elie Wiesel, the Holocaust survivor and Nobel
peace laureate; Sheldon G. Adelson, the Republican
casino magnate and one of Mr. Netanyahu’s prime
backers; and Newt Gingrich, the former speaker of
the House. Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. was
out of the country, so standing next to Speaker
John A. Boehner behind the Israeli prime minister
was Senator Orrin G. Hatch, the Utah Republican
who serves as president pro tempore of the
Senate.
For Mr. Netanyahu, the stakes could hardly be
higher. Coming just two weeks before Israeli
elections, the speech offered an opportunity to
build support at home for another term while
rallying opposition abroad to a diplomatic accord
that he sees as a threat to his country’s security.
Before the address, Abraham H. Foxman, national
director of the Anti-Defamation League, predicted
that it would be “the most important speech of his
political life.”

But the prophets of old in the bible that you people read about intervened in politics. John the Baptist was killed because he spoke against the Aso Rock of then... Elijah nko? Samuel... Nathan... Abegi go and read your bible.
it is a pity my brother.
Let me start with Samuel:- Prophet Samuel was the one that made Saul the king of Israel, Israelites never elected Saul even Saul himself didnt even want to be King. Samuel never publicly spoke against King Saul. He spoke to King Saul in his privacy.

Then Nathan you mentioned too:- When King David messed up, Nathan never went to the press to speak about it. He went to the kings chamber and discussed it with the King.

Elijah didnt accuse Ahab of poor governance but on Ahab‘s inability to stay put with the God of Israel. It was purely on beleif not on governance. And he ran away after killing 850 prophets of baal & groove.

You also talked about John the Baptist. Lolzzz... John de baptist was killed because he was interfering in a man‘s love for a woman, not the issues of governance. Dont forget also to know that his assignment ended the day he introduced and baptised Jesus Christ.

Finally my opionio... The best way to speak to a ruler or president is by going to them in their palace not in the pages of newspaper or social media.

My state is not a PDP state but our relationship with PDP government of GEJ has brought so much benefit & development.

So many Igbos was rendered poor by OBJ‘s importation policy. But since GEJ came into power no product being imported by the Igbos have been placed under ban. During OBJ everything was barned including female shoes without any enabling policy for those products to be produced in Nigeria.

Today INNOSON (Igbo son) is becoming a house hold name because of the relationship between Igbos & GEJ.

IBETO cement (Igbo son) was rendered useless by OBJ. But under this present administration, it has become oparational again.

Many Igbo families were made to cry & weep by all the administrations past. But this administration in their snail system has made things move up a little for the Igbos even in Agriculture too

Sai Buhari
now i know... The only reason why your people go into government is to get rich, but Igbos are not like that sir.

Igbos are not ungratful tribe sir, cos if we are; we will never give back to the communities & town where we make our riches from. We build good houses and employ their sons & daughters & even marry some, just to give back to them a little of what we got from their land.

“Anyi ji ego maka na anyi na agba mbo“ obu ka JEHOVAH were na agozi umu Igbo. Sorom kene Olisa bi na igwe.“

If you think Igbos are poor take a walk to Igbo land and enter into their villages then compare it with your cities then you will tell me who is poor.

Igbo are following GEJ because we KNOW GEJ is “bad“ and we accept it. We dont want to follow those who are “good“ but sentenced our fathers to jail for what they didnt do while the real thieves were left to go home to have fun.

As APC loves Ndi Igbo, tell me the post Igbo man is occupying in today‘s APC leadership. That will convince us to believe in APC.

Instead of voting out Jonathan so you can get an Ibo president early you won't hear. You want to vote your son.

Goodluck Azikwe Jonathan has deceived you unfortunately.
GEJ never claimed to be Igbo (never forget this).

Now 3 parties are major contributors to APC. They are (a) ACN (Bola Tinubu) (b) CPC (Buhari) & (c) ANPP (Ogbonnaya Onu, Igbo man). Tell me where Ogbonnaya Onu is in the scheme of what happens in APC today. Prior to APC presidential primary; the only 2 persons we here as party leaders are GMB & Tinubu, we never heard of Onu mentioned.

If Onu who is a founding member of APC is relegated to the background and we all are seeing it, how then do you think that Igbos will trust APC to give us president‘s slot soon?

PDP has given us Senate president, gave us deputy speaker, deputy senate president & SFG. Chances of Igbo man becoming a president in 2027 is higher in PDP than in any other party.

In today‘s APC, what leadership post is Igbos holding?

A worst PDP government is better than the best APC government.

Igbos know those who dont want them to progress.

Sir if the information will implicate GEJ they would have released it because UK & USA want him out.

It will damage our relationship with them as if we have any relationship with them at this point.

Nigerians military has always accussed UK & USA of hidding information from them.

Before some people celebrate thinking that GEJ will be the one to be disgraced if the infomation is made public should have a rethink.
