Adeyinka12: for me i think it is true because yoruba adage says ''ODO TO BATI GBAGBE ORISUN ,PI PARUN NI PARUN'' means streem that forget is source will ruin.so the betrayer know what he is doing. sir Tambuwal betrayed PDP in 2011 and nothing happend. Saraki is in the midst of his long time political friends. There is nothing APC will do to make him beg. Saraki is am astute politician he understands how powerful the office of the senate president is & he also understands how those we are behind him are more than those who are against him in all things. Betrayal or not, PDP only paid APC in their own coins but this time a little more. Also know that a group of people is out to make sure that Tinubu becomes a “PAPER TIGER‘ in APC. These group of people will stop at nothing until they achieve it. It will take them less than 3 months from now to accomplish this. Tinubu will bounce back to use his media power, but it will not work this time because many people are wiser today than they were yesterday. Trust me... |

Sant1m: yes he is at the top after back stabbing his party, look! the top can be lonely if you don't ve a power base, right now Saraki has no power base, definitely not PDP, they only used him to get relevance when the opportunity called. It could be lonely, very lonely if PMB and the Party are aloof in relating with him, his situation is different from Dogara. sir the party needs him more than he needs them at this point in time. How many of his friends from governors‘ forum are now in senate? Sir Saraki can never be ‘lonely‘ because he is in the midst of his long time political friends & allies. Saraki is of nPDP which sees themselves as power brokers. (let me stop here). Think about this: How many people from APC supported him as senate president? APC cant impeech him. If APC fights him he will play the Tambuwal game of dancing the music of the opposition. Their is no different between his case and that of Dogara except that dogara‘s deputy is of APC while he‘s is from PDP. Soon Saraki‘s agents will come up to tell us to disrgared this piece of pooh. Saraki is working with Atiku and they can never beg because they have the upper hand. Let us even think a little outside the box. If Saraki actually begged OBJ to plead on his behalf; it means he will concede the major offices of the Senate to Tinubu group, which you and i know that will never happen. APC will never be the same again because Saraki will play the “CHIEF“ and others will only do what he wishes because his support is coming somewhere beyond APC. |

Some don't even care for our country anymore. Even if anything come out from Buhari's, they will criticize it because they belong to PDP. Country first before party.

Or perhaps they only show up when issue is big enough to suit the lofty prestige befitting them due to the vast wealth of its leading members. The issues of the second Niger bridge. I'd supposed the thing was a done deal given its high importance only to hear our OHANEZE group say the outgoing president Goodluck Jonathan deceived them. Wow!!! He deceived you highly learned and influencial group for five years and you still ask us average Igbo men to vote him back into office for anther term! Wow! How about this unpaid workers salaries issue in the country presently. Recently the lime light has focused on Osun state, the hunger, sufferings and hardships endured by the unpaid workers who are owed six months salaries and the world is horrified. The workers of Abia state are owed 9 months salary! Those of IMO state 12 months! These are the two worst states in the country where the suffering is crushing. Relative and dependants of unpaid government are roadside beggers down in those 2 states and no one seems to know or care. I know what I suffer. All kinds of aid is being rushed down to Osun state one controversial Senator has donated trailers of rice, churches have mobilised to render more aid. OHANAEZE the least you rich and comfortable Chiefs can is make the world know that things are far more terrible in your homeland or perhaps some of you might consider emulating this 'controversial Senator'. People are starving to death on daily and no seems to care.....not even the billionaire governor of IMO State and his new multi billion naira mansion complex really cares. Ohaneze never said Goodluck deceived them... please get your information right. Politics › Impersonators Approach Kashamu With Plan To Poison Obasanjo - by Chigold101(op): 12:58am On Jun 18, 2015 |
Lagos—Two persons posing as daughter of former President, Chief Olusegun Obsanjo and an intelligence officer respectively, were alleged to have approached Senator Buruji Kashamu, to assist him poison the former president over their face-off.
The accused persons – Peter Uwakala and Victoria Alaegbu, were said to have met with the senator at a hotel in Victoria Island, last month, assuring him that they would also help resolve the political rift between the duo.
However, after the conversation, Kashamu reportedly lodged a verbal complaint to policemen at the Zone 2 Command, Onikan, prompting the Police to swing into action leading to the arrests.
However, during preliminary investigation, sources said the two were impersonators. The woman said to have introduced herself to the Senator as Yetunde Obasanjo earlier, was discovered to have no link with the ex-president.
The suspects, it was gathered, during their meeting with Kashamu allegedly called the former president unprintable names and threatened to poison him.
According to a Police report, the fact of the case was that the complainant alleged in his verbal complaint that the duo of Peter Uwakala and Victoria Alaegbu falsely represented themselves as an intelligence officer and daughter to the former President Obasanjo respectively to him under the pretence that they were going to resolve the political rift between him and Obasanjo.
He stressed that the duo met with him at a hotel, where the latter who had collected N500,000 from his younger brother, made some uncomplimentary and derogatory remarks about the former president, while the former introduced herself as Yetunde Obasanjo to him. However the police was able to establish that both Uwakala and Alaegbu actually committed the offences alleged by the complainant and have been charged accordingly in line with the prescription of the law.
The suspects were arraigned before Chief Magistrate Adeola Adedayo at the Igbosere Magistrate Court, Lagos on 5th June 2015 and were remanded at Kirikiri Prisons. The matter was adjourned to 31st July 2015.
There are indication that Kashamu’s reaction to the impostors was towards settling the face-off between him and Obansnajo , following report by those close to the duo that the former claimed to have forgiven the latter.
The fence mending effort may have led to Kashamu withdrawing the N20billion libel suit against Obasanjo. When contacted, Kashamu’s media aide, Mr Austin Oniyokor said that that the matter was in court. He however, pointed out that his boss’s conduct “goes a long way to show that despite his political differences on principles with Obasanjo, he (Kashamu ) does not wish him (Obasanjo) ill because he respects the sanctity of human life and also fears God.” Source: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/06/impersonators-approach-kashamu-with-plan-to-poison-obasanjo/#sthash.3gWNCyb5.dpuflalasticlala |

By Emmanuel Aziken, Political Editor & Chris Ochayi ABUJA—ABUJA—President Muhammadu Buhari declared, yesterday, that his age will not affect his job as president of Nigeria. He said that at 72 he has in quantum, the wisdom, the patience, the temperance and forbearance that age brings and has brought all these virtues to the presidency to make a difference in our national life. The president said this ,yesterday, in Abuja, in response to reports quoting him as saying while addressing the Nigerian community in Johannesburg, South Africa, that his age will limit his performance. A statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, said the president’s comments in South Africa were totally taken out of context to mean that he was too old for the demands of the office. I thought the car was a gift by NCAA to Princess Stella Oduah and the money was paid in Cash lolzzzz My brother it was even a four loan. When your enemies control the media they will feed your friends with whatever they wish just to destroy your image. The case is even between EiE & First bank. Even if due process is not followed, the only time this Amazon would be prosecuted for a crime is if it is discovered that she over priced it but if the price is withen range, she has no case to answer. Remember that at the same time NCAA bought that car Lagos state government also bought two of it. But that was not in the news. Most times we leave the mosquito to bite us and start blaming the night. Those who spend our money foolishly are left out and we blame those we are trying to patrotic. |

Ha! my dear it will be hard for us to get younger ones or even anyone discouraged from joining cult groups if we only base our talks on THE DANGERS OF CULTISM. Because even in our high institutions senior lecturers and even profs are neck deep into cultism. When students see these lecturers they only consider those preaching about dangers of cultism as “jew“ people. These secondary school children are being recruted by copers. They paint picture of becoming powerful & getting good grades in school and these young minds fall for their destructive tricks. Mind you everyone of us wants and wish to be POWERFUL in this life. The only way we can win war against cultism is when parents, families live a high moral life before their children. If fathers will be fathers and mothers be mothers. We should teach our children African values & GOD‘s way. Not just teaching them but also living it out for them to see. |
