Most clinics do not pick their calls except d clinic in ikoyi. You have to make a reservation as days of test are usually fully booked. If you have the time I'll advice you you walk in there and make your reservation dimpules8: Please for those that did upfront medicals in Lagos, did u walk in or book earlier. Also, what's d best time to arrive at d hospital? Been calling d numbers on cic page without success.
Plentiii thanks. |

Thanks for the info toluine56: No. It isn't essential to write IELTS or whatever exam to get a job while studying. That's a totally wrong info.
Once you arrive Canada with your study visa, your work permit will be issued at Point of entry (POE) all things being equal. |

Good morning all. I want to know if it's essential to write IELTS Academic to get a job while studying in Canada. The school I applied to do not need IELTS for admission purposes. But someone said if I do not have IELTS Academics I won't be able to work. I already have IELTS General with good scores. Don't know if that covers the Academics for work purposes. Thanks for your kind response |

Hello gurus in the house, I did medical upfront last week and completed my VISA application this week Monday. I want to know how I will be contacted concerning my medical result. Will CIC send a mail to me? Or do I keep logging into my CIC account to know if the status of d medical result has been uploaded. Also how long does it take for CIC to upload d result. Thank you all for your kind response |

Thank you memstickk: When you get to the hospital and it's your turn, your vitals will be taken and you'll be asked to provide urine and blood samples. The Doctor will carry out a full physical examination(you'll be asked to strip) and ask you a few questions. And then the chest xray will be done. Might not be exactly in that order, although that's how mine went. Nothing really out of the ordinary, just relax... |

Thanks for your kind response. My spouse is my sponsor, do I need to also present my personal account statement dreeyy: Attaching a pension docs can be so good to your application. However, considering you won't be there to explain why it has stopped coming in since June and in order not to cause unnecessary complications in your sop, I would advise you don't include that. Your account statement with pay slip can equally do the job.

what leads to a failed medical test princeadedayo: 1. You could do either an upfront medicals or you wait apply you apply to be called for medicals. It is as u wish and depends on you. No diffence really except that if you do upfront medicals you could easily note that you have passed or failed it. It doesn't mean the visa would come out early. It's just God. Upfront medicals if passed would put u in a position that oh the next mail I might be getting might be passport request if favourable
2. It's not compulsory you submit your passport. You could tell them at the VAC centre that u would be needing it soon( if paper application) or if its online you would definitely not be submittting it now.
Best Regards |
