For tef listening
1-are the diagrams in coloured or black and white ?
2-Do they repeat questions ?
3-Are all questions multiple choice or some answers have to bd written in words like Ielts.

Is there any difference betweeen SOP and LOE?
Are the 2 to be submitted?
Any maximum number of pages or words for SOP or LOE.

Firstly, you have the right to dual intent according to IRCC, this means that you can have an active express entry profile and still apply for a study permit. In My case I had and still have an active express entry profile and still got approval. Secondly, when you do an upfront medical, the hospital sends your result to the CIC database for easy access and during your application you upload the slip the hospital gave you as evidence. As per the person that didn't upload his/hers, it simply means the person did not do an upfront medical before applying. As a result, he/she did so after applying and is probably waiting for a medical request before uploading the slip. All the best.

Is it ok if one has an express entry account and apply for study permit?
Or is it advisable to cancel the express entry account before applying for study permit.
Secondly if one decides to do upfront medicals, Does the hospital immediately send/upload the result to IRCC or can IRCC only get the result only when you have uploaded it?
I ask because someone said he/she did upfront medical but did not upload until it was requested for by IRCC, However I had the understanding that once you completed medicals, IRCC has access to it once the result is ready.
Please advise.

L - 8.0
S - 8.0
R - 7.0
W - 7.0


Spouse
L - 8.0
S - 7.5

With this scores our CRS scores is 457 if my LLB and Law School certificate is evaluated as 2 or more degrees and

464 if it’s evaluated as a professional degree. Still waiting for my transcript to be sent to ICES for evaluation.

I am considering the option of TEF to boost our scores. I need recommendations on great French schools in Lagos. Also how many points will French add to our CRS. Thank you guys

it depends: is the natural French speaker a white.? If yes, and he understands the assimilation factor of an African, go for him. But if the other teacher is a Nigerian, but equally good. You should go for him cos he understands what it takes to achieve similar feat. However, it depends on you.

If one has 2 opportunities which is better for someone who speaks like 45% level of french ,read 35% but cant really write french.

Learn from a natural french speaker or from a natural English speaker but speaks french.

Thanks, but the express entry score is low, So can I cancel the EE profile while I apply for study permit. Do you think a having a profile that was cancelled just before the study application will be a concern for the VO? as you know all profiles in IRCC for the same individual are linked.

According to Canada immigration, this is allowed.
But I don't recommend it, it's definitely a red flag. Just go with the best option for yourself out of the two and only that.

Is it safe to have an an active express entry profile and then apply for study permit at the same time?
Will that raise s red flag to the visa officer that you will not come back after studies?

The academic reference must be from someone who can describe your academic abilities and intellect. It can as well be from someone from a sister department.

Must your academic reference be a former lecturer in your department? or can it be a lecturer who thought you about 3 courses in University but was not in your department?
Is it acceptable if reference is from a lecturer who from is in a sister department ?

The English Proficiency Letter will treat all that so far you graduated from a Nigerian University. Nigeria is regarded as an English speaking country.

Thanks but what do you think about the last paragraph where the school indicated all international applications will not be treated until they receive an English comprehension score?Will letter of english proficiency from my university be suitable to take care of this?

Refused 2 times for study visa some years ago.no child then.
Studied chemistry in first degree but applied for Post graduate Baccalaureate in Business administration as she did not have 2.1 to do masters program.business was work experience. Gms states not sure to return back after studies.
Presently 2 kids ,one is 2 years and second is 3 months old
Graduated in 2011,so 8 years ago

Has only first degree
Wants to do a masters or pdg programme in same field as work experience also related to first degree.

Graduated 2004,that's 15 years ago.Has 13 years work experience in the field he wants to study.
Will the huge number of study gap (15 years) be an issue?
