As for me, I feel its the EBA u ate. If I take EBA in the morning just know the whole day is useless. Cos I will be so weak, even before pregnancy. Na custard worse pass. If I want to b completely useless, i will take custard. That one will just paralyze the whole system.
But to be on safer side like most mamas here advised pls do the pcv test to b sure.

@MoyosBlog123: no talk about custard make i no remember my ordeal last week . I almost lost my job that day. I suppose get meeting around 10:am with my Ogas. got to the office that day, went to the kitchen net and prepared custard. I drank it with fried Plantain, prepared for my meeting. I was waiting for 10:am. Around 9:15aam na e heavy sleep came, come be like the one wey fell on Adam before they remove en rib. I stood up and went to the car park say make i take small nap for car...I just dozed off. When i woke up, na 11:20am, check my phone, na 18 missed calls.....The rest na history. I use God beg You, no do custard if you get important appointment...talking from experience

Would have posted my bump but its not that big yet. Really tankful to Almighty God for my life after ttc for 2years plus, had to resign and relocate to d north to be wt dh to make it easier as d drugs and distance kpekus wasnt working, was so scared leaving friends and siblings back in d west and relocating but in d end it paid off cause that same month I resigned and relocated to be with dh I took in without d aid of any drug. I was jejely waiting for period to come before I resume d drug taking spree but lo and behold after waiting for over 30 days and AF no show face I just gathered courage and used the last PT strip I had and voilaaa I saw d almighty second line iv always been praying for.

It was just my Onise Iyanu at work..still like a dream to me and I'm so so grateful to God and my Blessed mother Mary...

Dosunmu. In my sojourn last week, I discovered somewhere in the market where they sell US baby things in wholesale price. Their prices are sometimes #500 below what is obtainable in other wholesale shops. The good thing about this place is that the guy is truthful and if you don't find what you are looking for in their shop, you can buy from other shops around there.
I first went to their shop but didn't buy anything from them because they've packed their goods already, I bought from one Alhaja around there. Let me know if you are interested so I'll give you their number and address.

Dosunmu market is where you get baby things on the island. You can also check little me shop right there in Dosunmu. Please don't listen to those girls /women on the road that will tell you to follow them to their shop for wholesale purchase o. They don't have shops, they will take you to sellers that will give them their cut after selling to you at high rates

A friend has a US visa in her old passport with her maiden name and wants to travel now but just realised that her new passport bears her married name, will this cause any issues at poe or at the airport?

Also if she has to renew, can she do Dropbox? (Previous visa was tourism, if she applies again it will be medical) since both are in the same category...

Yes she can use drop box for B2/Medical.... I have always had B1/B2 but just renewed via dropbox for B2/Medical... After filling B2/medical and filling Ds form, when you are about to schedule for interview, all they will ask you is B1/B2 related questions for you to qualify for drawbox.

Also before she can schedule the appointment on her profile, she needs to write to US service desk attaching her old passport, new passport and Marriage certificate requesting they update her profile to the new surname and also update the new passport number ( their response takes time though). It is only on that premise she can proceed to schedule appointment and be qualify for drop box.

If she wants to travel with the new passport but the visa is on her old passport that is having her old name, she should go with Marriage certificate and show them at the point of entry

Dont use any agent joor , just be logging into your profile like once daily and be checking it. You will get a closer date before you monitor it for one week.

Hello Mums Pls I need advice on the way forward.

My family and I applied for a visa for my birthing purpose, but due to bar code wahala, my hubby and toddler couldn't go in for the interview.

They were asked to reschedule,so I had to go in alone, as only my bar code matched.

I got the Visa, but the challenge now is getting an early date for my hubby and my toddler.

Going by The dates available for now (Oct 5,as at today) the baby would have come, as I'm due for an elective CS at the end of September..

Travelling without my toddler isn't an option as She's too young to be left behind..

Pls mum's, what happens if I don't use this visa for birthing Will it be a problem to use it for vacation afterwards??

It's a Medical Visa Already.

Please Advice... as I've been having sleepless nights over this.

P. S : I'm 31weeks gone.

Keep checking often for available date. someone might drop and the date will available. I saw August 30th availability few days ago. You can block this date now and reschedule when a closer date is available

Yes! It's now one day for VD. I did give birth 17hours later... however, it was still within the same day. In addition, the baby is usually "monitored" for 24hours... so I did not need to pay extra. I gave birth at about 6pm and was discharged the next day.

My issue may not be similar but I also had issues scheduling my mom's appointment because my husband used a wrong email and couldn't remember the password he used. I opened a ticket but nothing was done. I got their number online and kept calling till they resolved my issue. By them the closest date I could get was September. I think you should keep calling.

I been issued B1/B2 visas as a single lady with my maiden name and i have traveled with them as well. Got married and renewed my passport, i now requested via my appointment scheduling profile for my new passport number and new surname to be updated( Since i cannot do it myself). it was done initially but was not done properly as my new passport number did not reflect on my profile. I now reopen the ticked and send another email to USdesk updating them that it was not properly done. This is two weeks and the open ticket is still showing escalated and no update have been effected. I have as well called the US embassy in Nigeria and I am told to be patient. I want to request for B2/medicals this time around and since I have not been issued that class of Visa before, I will need to appear for interview and the earliest date I am seeing today is Oct 4

Please who has been in my situation and what did you do to remedy situation fast?. I am due to travel by December for childbirth. Please help a sister on how long it has taken for a profile to be updated or a escalated case to be addressed.

My DW is a FTM and we are about to embark on this beautiful project of parenthood and giving birth in the USA. Can someone please kindly share with us the documents required for Visa, the budgeting sheet, as well as any other vital information we must know. My DW has never been to the US before and this would be her first. Our sister has found us a good hospital in Tyler Tx and we have had correspondence with the nurse and so far have gotten a doctor who's willing to take her on. I hope that she travels between the 22-27th of October 2017, how soon or late should I be looking to apply a visa for her? What are the pitfalls to watch out for in visa acquiring and travel?

You can start the process now...The earliest date for interview for Lagos as at yesterday was Oct 3. Just search for budget sheet here...Someone just shared one last week

My sisters, inorder not for me to get high PB again, I have decided to be carrying my omron portable BP monitor dey follow body every antenatal ....Last month I went for an antenatal, The nurses checked my BP and it read 146/90. My doctor was worried. As soon as i saw the result , headache started...After seeing the doctor, I couldn't even go back to the office, just went home and started praying.

I called DH and he got this Omron portable monitor on his way home.....Lo and behold! I checked my BP and it was 108/65. The whole of that week, I have been carrying it to the office and have been checking at interval and it has always been around 108-112/65-70. I did it everyday for 2 weeks and it never gone above 112.

At my next antenatal, i carried my BP monitor for handbag, Nurses check theirs 147/92, What is wrong Madam ( in Nurses voice). I brought out my BP monitor and told the Nurse that I want to check with mine. it was 110/65. Hospital checked again - 144/90...I checked again - 112/65. ( The one to document for my file became a problem) . They later called matron ( on top my matter) and she checked the recaliberation file and found out that they missed the last calibration appointment, hence the wrong output .

So my advice to everyone is if you get small money, abeg waka go buy your BP monitor ( Omron is a good brand) and carry am dey follow body when you dey go for appointment.

My first three months of pregnancy was the most challenging part for me ( so i thought) cos i had the most severe morning sickness. Fast worward to 2nd trimester when every thing was gettimg better, i got d shock of my life at my anomaly scan at 20 weeks. My dear son who i had fallen in love with had " an echogenic bowel" in otherwords, he might be born with : down symdrom.
My gynaes office had called me to inform me that i was having a boy and he might have down syndrom. Hmmm, my world fell apart and i was giving an appointment with the genetic counsellor to weigh my option on a wednesday like that.
It was the longest wednesday of my life and i did my own research on google and off i went to see the genetic counsellor. She explained to me how my baby might have ds, and how it is better if i have an amnioscentensis done which will show if he will have ds or not after which i can have an abortion and also explained the 1% possibility of misacarriage after amnioscentensis.
My dh and i weighed our options and we told her straight away that we wont have the amnio done cos we dont even wanna loose him even thouğh its 1% and even if he ends up with ds, we will love him anyway.
I did pray about it and a day does not pass without me thinking about it but i was strong and told God that all i want is a healthy baby.
When i got to almost d end of d pregnancy, i couldnt just wait yo meet him. On Tues 8th of Aug. Baby was already overdue for 9days but wouldnt come so my gynae booked me for a foetal assessment that day. At the assessment, it was noticed that the amniotic fluid sorrounding baby had reduced so much and i had to be induced. I went straight to d hospital and d procedure started. So... on NL, i have heard a lot abt Oxytocin and how mad it makes one get.i took oxytocin for 2 whole days and never felt contraction. They then decided to break my water which made d feel d contraction to some extent but that wasnt just enough for it. While all this was happening, baby was busy sleeping and moving from one comfortanle zone to another without any attempt to come out.
I was 6cm dilated no real contraction and upgraded from oxytocin to another medication ( dont know d name) which is a more effective one after which i got my epidural. With all efforts made, baby still refused to show. That was my 3rd day and i had to inform d doctors i cldnt do it more and want a cs.
I was prepared for cs and within 15mins, d most handsome boy with all shades of cuteness came out and i was given for skin to skin with mama and all i did was hold him and prayed for him.hmmm, my baby does not have down syndrom not even close. He is d finest boy i have seen and his name is OLUWALEWAMI( God is my beauty)

About to make commitment but am still skeptical. Please i need feedback on your experience if you have used them before and also proximity to Doctor's clinic or a better alternative on a good accommodation that can accommodate two ( I and my Mum), Hubby will come after/close to delivery.
