I got admission to University of Nottingham to study an MBA. I applied to pay for school using form A since 18th January via https://www.tradesystem.gov.ng.. I heard Keystone Bank is faster so I applied through the account domicile with Keystone attaching all required evidence. As at now, application is still showing 'Submitted' stating that bank needs to validate the application. I have contacted the bank, they mention there must be approval from the government before they will proceed. I dont know what to do next. Elders in the house, please advise me on what to do....I have barely two weeks to resume my study. |

Good morning great women. I was team January 2018 that ported to December 2017. My super baby is 5 months pushing to 6...I dey hospital now dey feel feverish ooh ![]() |
Really I am just hearing this. I will inquire and give feedbackgabby18: |
Thankful11011:Chai! They have now effected this price increase Dr fagbohun told me about. I was lucky to scale through...My baby came late Dec. Instead of late Jan and I was lucky to pay the old bill... I will miss this hospital. Their service is good and their nurses are nice. When I put to Bed, My baby got so used to Oyibo fomula and refuse to suck...I was so depressed as a FTM, already given up on breastfeeding, it was one of their nurses that helped and ensure my baby latches well and start sucking. They kept following up on me. I wish our nurses here can borrow some leaves from them on the way to treat patients. I cannot forget oakbend nurses in a hurry I just love those guys. |
Ehimeomo:You will be issued with Visa on arrival when you arrive Nigeria Airport....just go with the VOA printout and have $190 dollars handy |
curvilicious:Yes ooo!!! congrats curvilicious . Thank God. it ended in praise |
curvilicious:Heya..Pele dear. Devil has lost the battle |
BA- baby came via induced VD yesterday at 37weeks 3days. Developed high BP at 36weeks and doctor was afraid of Preeclampsia and seizure. Also had gestational diabetes so I was finally induced and baby came out weighing 2.9kg.was also given magnesium sulphate infusion to avoid any eclampsia... I rather experience painful Induced VD than have devil take away my bundle of joy. Babay came out very healthy only that His glucose level was low and was given fomula, monitored every 3 hours for 24hours and everything came back to normal..no jaundice too..we just got discharged. Team Jan ported to Decemeber. |
ogemele:Yes..check Qatar website under special services...The two forms are there but will need to submit at least one week before depature and not later than 48 hour. Also follow up to ensure it is approved to avoid any surprise at the airport |
sugah:Says who? Kilishi was part of what I brought in last week and I listed everything it to the CBP at Houston POE and everything passed..even my Know Beef. As long as the meat is dried. Mine was dried and well packaged. What I know they are skeptical about are tubers and chicken |
Pls.If you plan using Oakbend, the hint is that they will increase the hospital bill effective first of Jan 2018. So is advisable you register and pay before then so you will not be affected....This is advise from my Doctor on first appointment |
davodyguy:Just did 9 hours +16hours few days ago at 34weeks 6days. If your doctor certifies you ok, you are good to go. Your stage(2nd trimester) is the best time to even travel |
gabby18:Dear Sis, I dey ooo...I just started my leave this week. Last week was very hectic as I was clearing my desk to commence my leave. Hope you and baby are kicking? The good things is that their tenancy will be expiring next month. I can't wait ooo. |
OnJosh1:This are just the list of the local foods I will be eating during my stay....I just had to write everything down so I will not loose track of not declaring anything |
QSola:yes but should be well dried |
In the spirit of giving back. I flew Qatar to Houston 2 days ago at 34+6 days. submitted MediF form, Medical certificate 7 days before departure. Got approval after following up via twitter and phone calls 2 days to depature. At the Lagos airport, I was directed to Port authority ( They measured and wrote I am 30 weeks ). Photocopied my Doctors fit to fly and Port authority certificate and submitted and was allowed to fly. Flight was more that smooth to Doha. Complimentary accommodation was issued.Connected Houston the next morning. When i was being checked to board houston, I was asked the purpose of my journey to US, I responded that I am currently pregnant and was going to birth in the US. The guy asked again Who is pregnant?? but you dont look it? I responded that I am currently pregnant, so he took my passport and directed me to a US immigration man. He inquired whether i told the Visa officer about my intention. I told him that it was drop box but i opted in for B2/medical detailing the hospital I planned using, the doctor and the contact. He asked me whether i know i am not entitle to state fund - yes i do and that is why I am having more than $10,000 and additional ones in my mastercard in case of any surprise payment. He evn asked e whether I am expecting a boy or a girl, then the name of the child 3:50pm we arrived houston. Que was a bit long. CBP: What are you here for? Me: For childbirth CBP: Youre pregnant? Me: Yes and 35 weeks gone already CBP: place your finger here. CPB: Anything to declare. Me: yes oo...Got blended Ogbono, Crayfish, Dry fish, Uziza, Udah, Utazi, Know beef etc...one minute, I got the list here. I brought out the list of what i a bringing in and the Oyibo collected the list and documented everything asking me the usage especially the local herbs. In addition I declared i have more than $10,000 ($14,000). The guy stamped me in for 6 months and i was directed to custom to fill a form. Then to Agric- Nothing was checked nor ceased. It was like a dream that when i was led to the exit, I had to inform them that Money has not been counted and my bag was not checked..They said, I am ok that i am cleared and can go. Houston POE was indeed a breeze. Everything took less that 5 mins. Chiling and waiting for my LO and my first appointment with Dr Fagbohun. Thanks everyone for your guidance. |
Ayob3:check special service section on their website...Always print it closer to when you are leaving as it is always numbered. You have to summit it at any of their offices not earlier than one week and not later than 48 hours before your departure. Ensure you get email approval before the departure date. Their 36th week is 35 weeks + any additional day and they will not carry you ( even if it is one day), so try and calculate it well. They can be very mean |
Shadeadu:Yes is very very possible OR your hormones is yet to balance. Go for test and be very positive. I had three miscarriages and this last one stayed when it was least expected. So treat whatever cause but if its chromosomal, you have little or no control over it. All you need is some supplements to boost your egg like Ubiquiol, DHEA but work with your doctor. The viable egg that will stay will stay |
HolySteph:Glucose can be used for new born especially when he has low blood sugar. Most gestational diabetic women like me has tendency of giving birth to a baby with low blood sugar because due to high blood sugar when they were in the body, their pancreatic would have grown so large to adapt to that in their mums body, then when they give birth to them and severe placenta from them ,their sugar level tends to drop below Normal so they use glucose or formula to bring it up. So pls go with it, is very important |
curvilicious:Thanks curvilicious Cappo.... Dont mind them....Whether you look ugly or not, na the joy wey follow be the koko. People will not learn to keep their mouth mute. Me i be like cow now but i no send sha ooo |
Arihodo:Thanks dear, Your feedback really brought down my worries. i have already started the diet...By Gods grace, It will end in praise. |
Hi Mums, My 32 weeks 5 days diary ---- My OGTT test was reviewed this week and it did not go well as i was diagnose of gestational diabetes - though not looking too bad according to my Gyno but He refereed me to a Dietitian to advise me on diet modification. I was given a glucose meter to be monitoring my glucose level twice daily. i have been pinching my body daily to get blood for this test. Also i have as well changed my diet - I have eliminate carbs and sugary fruits from my diets. My meal plan is looking funny and tasteless . I Have another appointment in one week time. This findings has been giving me a bit of concern especially after reading about the adverse effect on baby but God has been in control, My fasting sugar has come down a bit - now in borderline of 96 - 105. Just concern about the implication on the baby between now and 40 weeks ![]() |
