There is no need to say " ALL" before people understand your point.  If you say " Paris is a beautiful city " you are actually referring to Paris as a whole and disregarding its streets and slums which may not be as polished as the other areas. That is what is termed a generalization. To avoid it, you may have to begin using the words 'some'  which takes care of the error you made.
e.g Some parts of Paris are beautiful. or  Why do some women do this?

To your story about groundnut sellers. I have met many women who came from such homes and the stories are very sad. As young girls they went out to love-peddler themselves to bring money for their mothers home.

It is a shame that this topic has degenerated to this. This has nothing to do with women being more interested in the wedding than they are the man they're about to marry. All these back and forth is uncalled for! When you lot get married then do it the way you really want to. Maybe if men showed a bit more interest in the planning of their own weddings then the women won't have to do it all themselves.

Clearly the bride didn't show enough sympathy over the death of a friend but it was terribly wrong of him to have cancelled the wedding and even slap her. No matter how we are pushed one should always exhibit self restraint.

Nah if I make more then I'll work part time to help out. No husband of mine is going to be a stay at home parent. How many men will even do it and not let their ego take over?

How many men want to plan a wedding themselves? Go see the decor and pick out the colors? Most couldnt be fussed. That is why they tell their woman. . .
