KevMitnick: All high risk jobs are well paid jobs, I don't know why our policemen and soldiers have to earn so little. Because they are expendable. There are no jobs in abundance and there are millions willing to work in exchange for the meagre pay. |

Only he who wears a shoe knows where it pinches the most. I feel sorry for them and us Nigerians.I hope that the will be paid soon. For those saying that they deserve it, think about our big men that have everything they need in life but are not yet satisfied and keep on looking for more. Compare them to those that don't have enough to last them a month while they are still expected to work hard just to earn peanuts. |

Mrscarter: No matter how hard things get things will eventually get better. Never think of doing that. U could have a beautiful life soon enough U never know what's around the corner. Keep on having patience n being strong. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger Thanks for your kind words. I am winning my fight against suicidal thoughts one step at a time. |

I've been broke for the past one year, such that I even contemplated suicide thankfully, I never went through with it ( who knows, I might become the next Dangote in the future, so killing myself won't make sense) . Funny thing is that I could use my work to extort as much as I can but I thank God and my parents for instilling discipline and patience in me. I know there's light ahead. |

Angelfrost: Bro, hoodlums are not the same as protesters... Ignore the dumb narrative by sycophants.
Even abroad, hoodlums and miscreants also try to hijack protests or hide under peaceful protests to carry out looting and destruction... It is up to anti riot police or national guard to patrol and repel them!!!
This is not something new!!! I never said hoodlums and protesters were the same. Initially, the protests were peaceful until our politicians and those with selfish interests hijacked it through their thugs. The police were walking on eggshells because they couldn't use force without people labelling them as brutal. They are also not against the protests because the protesters were also fighting for them. |
Politics › Re: Outrage Over IGP’s Failure To Stop Looting, Cops Shun Adamu’s Order by chikago1: 2:42pm On Oct 28, 2020 |
Angelfrost: See... We are adults! Let's post with decorum and objectivity!!! Your prejudice against protests and mass action is way past puerile! it is quite True there is discontent between law enforcement agencies and the public, including the mighty United states. Protesters there looted and vandalised properties but they never lynched their police men. The same can't be said for Nigeria. So if the police will be only vilified for using force to stop rampaging hoodlums who refuse to stand down, it's better for them to disregard their orders and save themselves. |
